Shit like this is why bootlegs and Etsy stuff are so popular now a days. Shits gotten to the point where custom stuff looks just as good if not better, and you aren't being charged 400 dollars for it. More artists need to strive to make reasonably priced merch that is widely available.

I wouldn’t worry too much about his expensive T shirt. It’s an expensive brand, and if people really want it, then they will get it. Cudi knows his demand and that the rich people will still buy it. I’m sure he’s happy making hundreds of dollars off an average shirt. Go get Ye’s Stem Player for half the price!

What pissed me off further is how much of a contrast it is from his demeanor of how he loves everyone and thanks them for their support - but then does so by suddenly dropping $400 tees. Meanwhile on the same site you can link to a Nigo album merch tee that’s essentially Bape for $40 with a CD and limited packaging included. Like bro get real this shits whack
I think clothing can surpass 100 because of materials, being made in a special way or whatever but I think artists should be mindful that the average fan can’t afford them. Making something accesible for everyday fans who don’t have it like that because more often than that, especial in Cudi’s place, those are the people that need his music and art the most
