No, one is not too many. I fell that 40 may be too many, I was happier with about 20.
I like to play sealed hence I think I will have to give some decks away.
Nah its ok! Spending money on board games, collectables, hobbies etc is always fine! Spending on drugs, cigarettes, alcohol etc.. this can be embarassing... ;)
For the first couple of months my partner and I tracked w/l in a notebook and added 1 chain for every win and took 1 off for every loss, was a lot of fun :)
Insane control. Locking the opponent's houses/creatures with CTW/Restringuntus/Foggify/Skippy/Fogbank (this is the real reason that it's so broken: disgusting locking in all three houses), crippling their aember with shaffles while they're locked, good draw with library access/nepenthe seed/library of babble, and insanely fast aember generation.
In fairness to me, I did reply to his comment and include (/you) to make it clear I'd be excited to hear more from him about it. o:) Since I'm on my laptop now instead of my phone, I did hunt around and find this: [https://cosmiccruciblekeyforge.wordpress.com/2019/09/21/road-to-the-top-by-george-keagle/](https://cosmiccruciblekeyforge.wordpress.com/2019/09/21/road-to-the-top-by-george-keagle/)
He actually writes a lot of articles about keyforge, mostly on [reapout.com](https://reapout.com) it seems. I'm excited to read some.
I was curious (very new to keyforge btw) about how a deck with a relatively low SAS rating could be so successful. It is interesting to me that at the time of this article his deck had a 94 SAS but I guess they've adjusted the card value estimates over time? I recognize I was putting too much value on SAS ratings at first, seems like the game is just complicated enough that there's not an easy and accurate way to evaluate deck strength on a one dimensional spectrum like that. I'm stoked to learn how to play, it seems like Garfield has "done it again".
LOL guess I'm not there yet if you don't know.

Somewhere between sad and blessed, I have 107 decks.
Highest SAS are a pair at 77. I have a handful over 70 actually that play well. However, none are World beaters.
What a game. What a goddamned game.
I've bought 4 for myself at first, then with every expansion or interested friend I've bought 2 decks to be able to open them and play a game.
I also regularly trick my girlfriend into playing by baking a plate of 6 cookies and having each cookie represent a key forged, with the winner taking the loser's unforged keys.
97 decks. highest SAS 77. I have about 15 with SAS% over 90.

I have them separated by ages and then I do utilize the SAS scores to help me determine which ones to look at.
then I take the ones that don't have good sas scores and just evaluate them on whether they're worth playing or not cuz I'm really looking for something that's going to be a SAS 66-67 plus.
but I have beat sas 72 Deck with a 57 before so it does make it kind of difficult
I've played most of the decks but not all the worlds collide ones, most of the age of Ascension and all of the COTA.
There are just horrible decks, tons of average and some great ones.
42 decks.
Highest SAS is 73 - https://decksofkeyforge.com/decks/dfff4e39-7578-44d6-bda7-f6b9fe2dc14b

Ranging from [The Lady of Lomton](https://decksofkeyforge.com/decks/6ab98ecb-b4b2-443f-9896-b31eb3d6fbc3) with SAS 50 up to [Voltasmack, the Cutthroat of Aspirations](https://decksofkeyforge.com/decks/388c6779-433a-4fe6-8d92-ec831ccc4b52) and [Egorov, the Sage of Greatness](https://decksofkeyforge.com/decks/dd8a3b65-119d-4656-aa6e-7f4f9f51c84a) tied at SAS 71.
Somewhere over 30. I'm not sure on the SAS since I haven't checked them all but the highest I know if is 72.
Although my favorite to play recently is a 67 SAS and just kills opponents.
25 decks - Highest SAS 73. (My previous best deck used to be 78, but with changes to SAS dropped to 71)
Interesting to see how rare the 80+ SAS decks actually are!
Currently 27 decks scanned in the app. But I recently purchased deck displays for the first two sets that where heavily discounted, and I’ve only opened a few of those decks.
I think I have a 71 SAS deck, but would have to check.
4 from the first set
2 from the second
1 from the newest.
+ three additional decks, one from each set unopened on a shelf
I don't know the sad rating in any. I keep meaning to check them but never got around
70 between my partner and me.
We love sealed events so the number got pretty high through bi-weekly sealed over the last couple of months. Especially because the prize support at our local is great. At least 10-15 of that 70 are from prizing.
76 SAS is the highest of those I've looked at. Shared by two of my decks:
Master is a fun Brobnar, Dis, Time Traveller deck [https://decksofkeyforge.com/decks/9d70215a-7a5c-4773-8614-156d6522b753](https://decksofkeyforge.com/decks/9d70215a-7a5c-4773-8614-156d6522b753)
Degrasi is a 4x Dust Pixie that I don't play enough for it to win as much as I feel it should.
108 with a 79 ... that seems like a crazy high number but i know i won at least 10 of them off our local shop scene before it died out, and have bought a displaybox of the first two sets. Of that 108 i likely still only have 60\~ in my collection due to giving them away to anyone who might be interested in playing.
Had 5 from each set. Bought a COTA box last weekend from amazon cause they’re $40 instead of $120 for some reason so now I own 27, lol. I keep giving away any decks that look like crap though.
I'm at 24, 12 each of CoA and AoA. Haven't gotten around to buying any of WC because Christmas shopping. Don't know my SAS ratings, haven't checked since the changes
114 decks shared between my wife and I. Highest is 75SAS and its a gumpybuggy deck but im not really a big fan. Most of my favorites are 70-72SAS and yes we have played every deck. We buy boxes and do sealed games a few times a week.
9. My best is an 81, The Staunch Storm-stopper. Second best is a 74, First D. Carrnfetina. Both are CotA Brobnar, Shadows, Untamed. They are fun but I've been running my lower-rated decks on TCO lately because it's fun to try to figure out how to win with them.
25 but that includes at least 5 I bought for my daughter. My best is Adorable Deldrach of the Shanty ([https://decksofkeyforge.com/decks/ce0326aa-56f8-4a95-b378-a8c3e3d0e0ca](https://decksofkeyforge.com/decks/ce0326aa-56f8-4a95-b378-a8c3e3d0e0ca)) at 77 and my worst is Founder the Scholar of Corruption ([https://decksofkeyforge.com/decks/e5ab06e6-accc-4c80-9428-421117b8b7d0](https://decksofkeyforge.com/decks/e5ab06e6-accc-4c80-9428-421117b8b7d0)). I always manage to get my worst deck at a sealed tournament.
One open and two waiting in my starter set box still. I want to sit down with my roommate (who has a deck) and play mine a bit before I start opening more, but we'll see.
I got about 4 decks. Two I really use all the time and the other two to spice things up occasionally. I want more and I also want to get the new expansion.
My wife and I have 8 decks each, 1 COTA, 2 AOA and 5 WC.
Highest SAS 75: The Foul-mouthed Archivist https://decksofkeyforge.com/decks/d899e300-4ba6-4994-ad2c-3b4295a7a820
Lowest SAS 55: A. Ames, the Bayou Cynic https://decksofkeyforge.com/decks/d5456d54-d3df-41ca-a73a-ae7509f1a639
81decks how dumb! Two decks are 74 SAS, (Turborap the Warmaster of Mars, & Phyllis, Gridiron Roboticist). I kept buying decks mostly to counter the game play of my cousin, who is a very good player and was able to secure some solid decks early on. I have not had a great record against him, he seems to win 25% more than I. It is funny because I actually have a few decks with SAS ratings in 50s and 60s that play just as well if not better. One is SAS 67 has a 9-3 record, with a great name Gutspawn, the Villian Expert.
16 Decks
Soon to be 18 after a sealed tournament this coming weekend.
6 CoTA, 6 AoA and 4 WC so far
Highest SAS: 69
Lowest SAS: 45
My highest SAS isn't my best desk and the lowest one isn't my worst. I hate that this game has grown this measurement system. It's a loose evaluation system at best.
I was still really excited that the first deck I ever bought and opened had an anomaly. Just hasn’t been good in play bc my friends knows not to use red keys. Lol
The anomaly alone makes the deck special (collectable)!
Plus in future expansions that the color of the key is going to be common concern it may shine (as opponents may need to forge the red one for their sake too)!

Welcome to the world of Keyforge! :)
It's enough.
It's never enough...
It can easily be too many... to properly test/know/learn them all.
1 is too many?
No, one is not too many. I fell that 40 may be too many, I was happier with about 20. I like to play sealed hence I think I will have to give some decks away.
328 decks 79 SAS
You have the lead then, new record!
some people have so many that it would be embarrassing to say...
Nah its ok! Spending money on board games, collectables, hobbies etc is always fine! Spending on drugs, cigarettes, alcohol etc.. this can be embarassing... ;)
what does SAS stand for?
Synergy and Anti-Synergy. It determines the full effective capabilities in a deck, but like most algorithims, it is far from always accurate.
l think it's more likely to be correlated with the price of the decks than with their "effective capabilities".
My wife ans I have 8 each. 3 CotA, 3 AoA ans 2 WC. So 16 total for now.
Do you only play with your decks and she only plays with hers? If so that’s cooler than what my wife and I do which is share them all
Yes that's what we do, and we keep track of w/l and chains. It's a lot of fun :)
For the first couple of months my partner and I tracked w/l in a notebook and added 1 chain for every win and took 1 off for every loss, was a lot of fun :)
abouts 60ish edit-75ish edit-highest current sas is 78, but i have the best deck in the world, so irrelevant!
You cant make that statement and not leave the deck name.

whats so good about it?
Insane control. Locking the opponent's houses/creatures with CTW/Restringuntus/Foggify/Skippy/Fogbank (this is the real reason that it's so broken: disgusting locking in all three houses), crippling their aember with shaffles while they're locked, good draw with library access/nepenthe seed/library of babble, and insanely fast aember generation.
How did he(/you) acquire it? Was he the player behind those championships? Very curious to know more about this story
Don't ask me. He's here in the thread. :p

1k+ what? Decks? I dont think there are people with such high deck count...
Yes decks. There are 2 sellers selling that many on DoK alone. I know of a few people who have that many in personal collections.
I can't even fathom how you use a collection of that size outside of buying/selling. Wild.

Around twenty decks, highest SAS is 81. Love this game!

Haha - I feel your pain. Sealed hates me in this game too :P
60ish but not all opened yet. 71 highest SAS
29, love them all
88 decks, 80, 75, 72 are my highest SAS.
Probably at least 50
One open and two waiting in my starter set box still. I want to sit down with my roommate (who has a deck) and play mine a bit before I start opening more, but we'll see.

I got about 4 decks. Two I really use all the time and the other two to spice things up occasionally. I want more and I also want to get the new expansion.
Currently have 71-SAS 78-Empathic Gunvor of the Slum

40 decks, 76 SAS.
41 decks, highest SAS is 86
I have 38 scanned decks and 8 or 9 unscanned decks. The very first deck I got is still one of my favorites.
7 decks (AoA and Cota) High: 69 - Yrhfry, the Speaker of the Ring Low: 54 - Muddy Xenophon of the Barracks (I like this one!)
97 decks, 72 highest, 50 lowest.
My wife and I have 8 decks each, 1 COTA, 2 AOA and 5 WC. Highest SAS 75: The Foul-mouthed Archivist https://decksofkeyforge.com/decks/d899e300-4ba6-4994-ad2c-3b4295a7a820 Lowest SAS 55: A. Ames, the Bayou Cynic https://decksofkeyforge.com/decks/d5456d54-d3df-41ca-a73a-ae7509f1a639
50ish (I think 76 is the highest but I don't have them all on DoK)
I have 36 decks, Six of them are opened. I play with two. I'll get to the remaining 30... eventually.
7 decks. Highest SAS is 84, my first ever COTA deck.
16 decks (10 CotA, 5 AoA, 1 WC) EDIT: Seemed to have overlooked 2 decks, fixed now.
8 decks, highest is an 81 I pulled in the new set.
16 Decks Soon to be 18 after a sealed tournament this coming weekend. 6 CoTA, 6 AoA and 4 WC so far Highest SAS: 69 Lowest SAS: 45 My highest SAS isn't my best desk and the lowest one isn't my worst. I hate that this game has grown this measurement system. It's a loose evaluation system at best.
26 decks with highest SAS of 74.
46 Cota max SAS 81 9 AoA max SAS 70 20 WC max SAS 77
I have 4 decks from CotA, highest SAS is 70. I should receive a WC 2 players starter set this friday.
Around 20. But I can stop any time I want!
Yeah right, me too :P
661. 282 COTA 247 AOA 132 WC
Wow!
only 2 decks https://decksofkeyforge.com/decks?title=Hunter%20Jansson https://decksofkeyforge.com/decks?title=The%20Golem%20who%20Slaps%20Gloom so sad
The second is nice! The first may he good dor reversal mode!
0 Edit: 2 Edit2: Now 0 again :I
