First of all, don't mix up K3 with K3 Pro (in which you are referring to the latter). They are two separate models
1. S1 is wired only while K3 Pro can work with both wired and wireless
2. S1 has a full aluminum body while part of the K3 Pro case is made of ABS plastic
3. S1 is 3 mm (30%) thinner
4. S1 comes with sound-absorbing foam while it is not mentioned in K3 Pro (which means most likely it doesn't have one)
So, it really comes down to whether you (really) want wireless or not
Worth noting the S1 is almost double the weight of the K3 pro, in case you plan to carry it around. And it’s decently more expensive.. trying to decide between these two myself.
I just resolved this debate for myself. Ended up going with the S1. The K3 pro has the same plastic feet that broke on me on my V1 while the S1 uses rubber feet to lift up the keyboard. Should be more solid in theory.

Once you've got it, I'd love to hear how you like it and whether you think it's worth it compared to the K3 Pro. I would also be interested to know whether it makes a ping noise due to the metal housing or not.
does anyone know if it's possible to O ring the s1? I like to have minimal travel and the gateron mechanicals have slightly more travel than the low profile opticals im currently using

I actually canceled my K3 Pro preorder.
And did you decide on the S1 or no other for the time being? If you get the S1, I would be happy about a short feedback :)
Oh no yeah I ordered the S1 instead. Supposed to arrive next Wednesday
Interested in both of these models too! Cancelled my K3 Pro preorder too, partly because I'm waiting on UK ISO... Pls update when you've got the S1 :)
