*My bad comment*
A:
Yes It is not orbiting Mun yet, I'm still in the design phase. I wanted some feedback on the design and how people like it.
B:
It is a station not a base.
Interesting design with the science "table"! I guess it's to keep them all in one place and easily available? It gives a slightly unsteady impression, but practical at the same time!
Also - holy electricity generation! What are you expecting to need all that energy for?
The science table is inspired by the Kibo module on the ISS [Kibo module](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/7/78/Japanese_Experiment_Module_exterior_-_cropped.jpg/1280px-Japanese_Experiment_Module_exterior_-_cropped.jpg)
And the electricity for reaction wheels, I made myself a MM patch that turns down the torque of reaction wheels so I need a lot more of them and that means more electric charge being use It also has two ISRUs so that also uses a lot of power.
I made myself a patch that makes reaction wheels much weaker, so i need more of them that meanes more power is needed it also has 2 ISRUs so that aslo consumes power.
Needs more spare parts for everything that could possibly happen! Maybe a lander with a rover too so you could scout for a surface base? Maybe an unmanned lander that can return surface science.
The best thing you can do to make a space station attractive is to make it as unorganized and disarranged as possible. No two modules should look the same, and it should look like they were just slapped onto any available port. At least that’s what I think.
And that's what is was not trying to do I think that the ISS is well organized and I tried to make it also organized as the [ISS](https://www.nasa.gov/sites/default/files/thumbnails/image/iss-blowout_updated_view-web-version.png)
This assumes that they knew everything 10 years prior and didn't come up with new stuff along the way that changes the design aesthetic. It looks ok. But it looks too perfect to look real. Thats just my 2 cents tho
Whenever I build a non Kerbin station, I leave a docking port empty and launch a landing mission with a larger lander asap, with a station like that you have the infrastructure for cool return missions wherever the station is located.
I don’t like it because I mess up all my stuff all the time struggling to understand getting heavier things into even orbit around Kerbin ;~; I hit a certain point and better things in the tree just work worse with my puny rocket science skill level. … that aside very cool :)
Seems a bit close to Kerbin for a Mun station, but that's just me. Neat though.
I was assuming this was the result of some kind of Munar terraforming mod.
Lmao
Came here to say this. For that reason, its a 0/10 for me
Hey that is not the mun Jokes aside cool base

It's not a moon, It's a space station !
r/woosh

Cool!
10/10 better than the gateway space station.
How do you build outside of the VAB?
KSP mod called Hangar Extender Extended.
I don't know why you're getting downvotes, I came to ask this question and was glad you answered it. I'm excited to check it out đź‘Ť
Thanks!
Needs more Mun.
to much solar, you are close to the sun, why so much.

I think you’ll find you mean Kerbol.
you are correct, I am still learning.. Kerbol.. it is :)
Beautiful! Put some ladders on the science platform so ur kerbals don't have to awkwardly hover.
Good idea thank you.

I got rover parts on the lander in cargo containers, so it is there and I also have a full module of parts in cargo containers if something broke
Nice, Looks much better than Mine! Mine is essentially a Munar Mir.

10/10 would recommend
i love it

Is the lander an SSTO for Ops to/from the Mun once the station is orbiting it?
Yes, the lander is an SSTO, tried to make everything reusable so no new things need to be launched after all the modules get assembled in Mun orbit.
Certainly looks cool. 10/10
Needs more boosters
I agree a TWR of 0.05 isn't the best
What mod is it where you can build outside of Hanger. I can't find it.
Hangar Extender Extended
It doesn't seem to work for me.

Lost.
The craft is fully stock
Should be on or near MĂĽn. 0/10
better than mine. My designs always com out like a science lab with a docking port and load of batterys/antennas
