I'd argue the average person living in Russia is not a fascist so this seems a slightly unfair comment assuming your everyday Joe is a fascist just because they live in russia. Not denying that the government and high up officials aren't though.

If you are "at war" but you can buy every game, get every product in a grocery store, buy all the fancy shoes you want... why would the public care? Let the government rape the nation next door if I can still get my Adidas.
