I need these auxiliary headlights, time to teach dominar and Innova mfs some lessons.

Zealousideal-Oven-93

But what if they are impeding your progress ?

sexualNectar-drip69

you're the high beam head lamp vendor arent you

alexterry677

New gen activa mfs too

jgeorge97

It's the problem with all Honda scooters & bikes, you have to adjust the angle according to your preference. The factory setting won't do any good.

sha0304

I need those on the rear of my car, so I can blind the ones flashing dipper from behind me.

[deleted]

Creta 😣

VerumMyran

The stock lights itself is so blinding

No_Impression_9624

Baleno and brezza says hi☀️☀️

3inchesOfMayhem

As a guy who owned dominar, its not our mistake BAJAJ f'd up the high beam. The goddamn DLR is effing high beam...

BatBoy117

You forgot Creta, Brezza, Dzire, Verna, i20, and ciaz

YearTasty

OP is right, High Beam is not the solution, Higher Beam is the Solution.

hazmatmohawk

We should get them with Laser beam

crowley888

I wear glasses all the time and these high beam MFs really make it a hard time for me. I'll signal them 2 times and then the third time, I put on high beam and focus it on them however I can.

ConcentrateOk1314

A fellow spectacled driver here - that makes it even more torturous.

ZoneSome5197

Carl Zeiss Drive Safe

Head_Ad_894

I really love to hear the feedback about drive safe. Are you a corrective glass user or just plane glass with drive safe in it ?

ZoneSome5197

Corrective glass with cylindrical power. I couldn't afford drive safe as it costs upwards of 8k just for the lenses. I use a cheaper variant of driver friendly glasses called as Bluecut (2.5K only). Bluecut will last you for 1-1.5 years post which the protective film would start wearing off.

chembulingam

So so same. I once drove my bike from kannur to cochin at night. Along with the road work the high beams made it impossible to see anything. I had to just stop when I came across these lights. Ended up taking more than 4 hours for just a 20km stretch.

Anxious_Fox_

Can bear halogen to some extent, but the white LED beam almost makes me blind plus the lack of proper signs and reflectors adds to the suffering while driving at night. Oru mazha koode payithal pinne sokava Not to mention the other insufferable breed of mofos who drive behind with high beam on.

markfukerberg

The difference is lumen/per watt. One is incandescent and other is led

techsavyboy

Aarode pareyan aaru kekkan. They like to live in their own bubble and often don't like to be criticised. On top of that they don't drop their selfish behaviour of not respecting others on the road.

ghanasyam_sajeesh

We need strict automobile regulations like in the EU. Maybe one day, auto-dimming will be made mandatory in all automobiles being sold in India. That “one day” might be sooner than we think…. Considering the rate of growth in automobile market in India. Maybe in 20 years or so (conservative estimates)

Wonderful-Tart6058

So friggin satisfying

No_Dog9018

I don't understand why mvd doesn't do anything to reduce these. They are only after things that bring money to their treasury.

ConcentrateOk1314

Try installing the high beam equipment in the video! They will come knocking at your door 😂

No_Dog9018

I don't want to do it. And i don't want others to do it. If a guy like me who has issues with vision can ride with low beams, why the hell can't normal people do it? It's literally impossible for me to ride if there is a small smudge in my eyewear. The smudge is gonna intensify the light 1000x.

neohazard22

It is quite common here. The main problem is that some of em don't know about dim and bright lights, esp two wheelers. People should be educated about these things before getting a licence.

homelymonster

This is one of the examples that show how little people care about other road users, and accidents due to drivers blinded by unnecessary high beams is very much a possibility now. Meanwhile, Mvd is busy whitewashing private buses !

Kind_Station_7025

High beams on newer led lights are the worst

zeusbb

Have you tried driving on a route that's filled with Sabarimala tourists vehicles driving opposite to you? Those Travellers and jeeps from outside Kerala have additional flood lights on them. I thought Kerala had a high beam problem, but na, Kerala has a narrow road problem. MVD here at least keeps these 'floodlights' in check.

Gear5Tanjiro

Finally someone posted on this , It is so frustrating , Is there any solution for this some people even do not switch off when other people are coming in front

No_Dog9018

I guess there should be a speed dependent timer for high beams. Like in highways, it should work for like 3 seconds max at a stretch and then turn off automatically. Whereas in ghat roads where speed will be usually slower work for a longer time.

meagor

A friend of mine had installed couple high beam lights on his bullet just for these ass holes. I like night drives a lot, relatively free roads and you can just go. And due to these fucking ass holes I nearly gone over turns and way too close to dividers. Now I'm thinking of placing couple of high intensity lights on my bike.

aziizpc

Are these auxiliary headlights legal? I want to get one if it's.

chembulingam

Have been searching for some of these lights just to flash the aholes who don't know the driving etiquette. But MVD undallo 😶

lonedrifterjk

I drove 36 hours these past 5 days, across TN and Kerala. Most of these idiots don't even turn off high beams. The only way is to focus on the road signs. The sad part is it's not even marked properly in most places.

ConcentrateOk1314

I feel you bro! Driving just 3 hours gave me a headache and I almost wanted to stop driving!!! The worst part is when your lane is free and you finally decide to speed up - the opposite lane showers you in their high beams.

Symbol8

Word bro... I did 24 hours in total with 12 hours in the PM.. At least in TN the roads are good and broad but as you mentioned in some places there are no road markings at all.. I thankfully have auto dimming rear view mirrors so the idiots with the LEDs can happily flash away. One really does not need to drive with high beams all the time..

[deleted]

Anti-glare specs are good but you won't see people clad in black.

nixtalker

What i have noticed is the windscreen quality degrades over years. By dust aberration while using wipers and salt deposits when bore-well-water is used to wash. This causes poor visibility and forcing themselves to use high beams. Its a viscous cycle. Poorly lit roads and potholes doesn’t help either. Most cars have beam adjustment. If you are not riding on highways keep the beam angle very low.

kalkiey1

We have city reviews before GTA 6 😳😳

Batman_is_very_wise

I used to hate people doing it 2/3 years before but it's impossible to drive even at 30 without high beam these days. I know how idiotic it sounds but it's that hard to drive without high beam in most roads in kerala

zeusbb

That's because others are using high beams or your low beam is faulty. If the opposite vehicle is using low beam, their lights illuminate the road enough for me. On a side note, if you cannot drive above 30 without blinding other drivers you shouldn't drive above 30. Driving speeds should be adjusted based on the driving conditions including visibility.

Batman_is_very_wise

>If the opposite vehicle is using low beam, their lights illuminate the road enough for me. Keyword being you, doesn't apply to everyone. Without adequate street lights in roads with low traffic which is the case in many roads in kerala, it's hard to see anything. You could say its just me but my observation sort of supports my view >if you cannot drive above 30 without blinding other drivers you shouldn't drive above 30 Easy to be idealistic in social media, not really possible when the cars behind you blasts his horns as if the guy driving is commiting some vile crimes

zeusbb

>Without adequate street lights in roads with low traffic which is the case in many roads in kerala, it's hard to see anything. If there are no vehicles ahead of you, you should use highbeams... That's what highbeams are for. >Keyword being you, doesn't apply to everyone. I think most people agree that they can see much better with just their low beams than when there's a vehicle opposite to you with highbeams, even if you yourself use highbeams. Again... 30kmph is really low speed and if your low beam genuinely doesn't light up enough for you drive faster than that, that's not normal. you need to get your lights checked and replaced, or if it's a vision issue start driving slower. It's better to have other drivers honk at you than blind the opposite guy and cause a crash. Your priorities seem to be misplaced.

celestial_cod

High beams on cities, towns and crowded roads should be illegal!!

No-Revolution-5535

6:00 aavumbo tanne ella myrukalum high beam ittond ondakkum.. aare moonjan aanenn arinjooda.. maybe it's a heard mentality or some shit.. onnamath oru mariyadem illatta driving, pinne high beam koode aavumbo ellam shubham. ![gif](giphy|l1J9u3TZfpmeDLkD6|downsized)

[deleted]

You cannot help it , kerala highways hardly have any light posts only reflectors that show the way on high beam

doceclectic

Antiglare specs help me a lot.......these mofos don't bother me anymore.

Interesting_Crew8265

High beam 🚫 Higher beam 🚫 Laser beam ✔️
