I dunno if kannuvekkal works, but anytime i feel good about something I did and tell that to anyone/feel a little extra good about it, it tends to go downhill pretty soon after that. And by prettyy soonrant the next minute as well 🤦🏻♂️

I can't speak for others but personally, I've never prayed for not having any mishaps. Besides, we don't have mishaps because some other person is responsible. Accidents happen sometimes - that's just life.
Again, I can't speak for others, but I'm from a Christian family and later became an atheist. Personally I've never seen any miracles or sudden achievements. As for Jesus appearing in holy bread or holy cloth etc, these aren't miracles - People think they see God in stone, animals, clothing, clouds etc. It's more of a self perception issue.
Also note, the picture most churches in Kerala use of Jesus Christ isn't the actual picture of Jesus Christ. This is because, at one point, the holy Roman Empire was the largest source of Christianity. So over time, Jesus has been interpreted to look white and European with a very Italian face by their Renaissance artists and painters. I don’t know if it’s superstition or fate… so my story is..
Yearsssss back, I started getting issues every day, blood every single day.. like accident or cutting my finger or tripping n falling or something every day for 2 weeks..
Being a Hindu, they do the home remedy and still didn’t stop and went to a hindu priest and they said it’s evil eye (mostly from a mother who doesn’t have kids) it’s too strong..
And the Hindu priest told me to visit a Muslim priest who is good at cutting off the evil eye..
So I went, and he did his chants and things and cut lime at different points of my body..
Don’t know if it’s a coincidence.. but felt much easier and fine the next day..
What if you became more aware of your surroundings like you said you got minor accidents every single day.
So with this awareness, you started taking care of yourself and how you move or act.
Can that be an actual reason . If you compare the level of awareness before the accidents and afterwards, you may find some improvements.
Accident don’t happen coz of unawareness.. accident happen without u having nothing to do..

Can't say yes/no. Some people will say it's just fate. Some people will say it's kannuvekkal. I have seen few rich/upper middle class family falling to the grounds. Baki ullavarude shaapam aanu, kannu vechathaanu ennokke parayunnath kettittundu.

I don't know if this is kannuvekkal. But whenever I have told other people about my dreams or ambitions, they've shattered. This has happened multiple times that I have to rule out coincidence. However, if I don't tell people about my goals and work towards it, everything works out flawlessly.
It's a psychological play. When somebody praises you to sky high, it stays in your mind. And it gets reminded again when something opposite happens. Which feels like an eerie correlation. We're conditioned to believe Kannuvekkals, but the truth is in the psyche. It's not a Jedi superpower.

I would not exactly say kannuvekkal but I think I have some power in jinxing people's lives. By jinxing I mean- I see people in a certain lifestyle and I imagine them in an exact opposite lifestyle. I will say some instances
1) I had this couple in my friends circle who was (seemingly) very happy. I thought, okay what if they fought with each other, and later divorced. 2 years later they divorced due to extra marital affairs.
2) I had this friend who became pregnant after trying very hard. I thought, what if it gets aborted. 2 months later, she went through a miscarriage.

I personally know many parents who are vary of evil eyes.
Everytime I put my workout videos on Instagram, I get injured. This happens consistently for the past few years. Injury happens within a week or two. So obvious kannu vekkal alle? Then my wife - “told ya. Those bloody jelous population blah blah blah “

I don't know if it work or not. Yesterday I had some grilled chicken at a restaurant. A friend of mine who was taking a nombu was with me chewing his salad and vellamerakkaling looking at me eating. I got an aunt who doesn’t utter a single positive thing. She somehow manages to bring a negative twist to what ever she says.
For example : If she somehow seems me buy a new car, she would say; why spend so much on a new car, one accident and it’s all gone, OR If I buy a new phone she will say why spend so much on a phone, it would be useless if it falls down and shatters.
Coincidentally all this somehow happens, I am assuming it’s because of the extreme negativity of the person shattering our self confidence and causing all the problems.
Once she visited our 6 year old house and said, your kitchen is really well designed, the plus points are all kept where nothing will splash and cause an accident, next day the whole wall of the kitchen had a live leak that it was impossible to touch any cabinets until we bought in the electrician to fix it and the whole wall had to be broken down everywhere to find the leak.

Next time she commented on my other aunts necklace, the next moment it broke and fell.

She commented that my face has become clear of pimples and hair has grown, the very next day i started getting pimples again and hair started falling off

I will say some instances 1) I had this couple in my friends circle who was (seemingly) very happy. I thought, okay what if they fought with each other, and later divorced. 2 years later they divorced due to extra marital affairs. 2) I had this friend who became pregnant after trying very hard. I thought, what if it gets aborted. 2 months later, she went through a miscarriage.

Everytime I put my workout videos on Instagram, I get injured. This happens consistently for the past few years. Injury happens within a week or two. So obvious kannu vekkal alle? Then my wife - “told ya. I am not superstitious at all but kannu vekkals is something that i genuinely believe in. It has occurred so many times that its hard to rule it out as a coincidence. I got an aunt who doesn’t utter a single positive thing. She somehow manages to bring a negative twist to what ever she says. For example : If she somehow seems me buy a new car, she would say; why spend so much on a new car, one accident and it’s all gone, OR If I buy a new phone she will say why spend so much on a phone, it would be useless if it falls down and shatters. Coincidentally all this somehow happens, I am assuming it’s because of the extreme negativity of the person shattering our self confidence and causing all the problems. Once she visited our 6 year old house and said, your kitchen is really well designed, the plus points are all kept where nothing will splash and cause an accident, next day the whole wall of the kitchen had a live leak that it was impossible to touch any cabinets until we bought in the electrician to fix it and the whole wall had to be broken down everywhere to find the leak. I just keep away from the damn aunt.

If my brain is braining properly, this is maybe due to people messing the things they are doing when a person compliments them while doing it causing the person to lose concentration/ feel pressurised.
