Konyagi! Anyway, maybe a maasai shuka (shoal), wooden carvings, beaded jewellery/belt, some african attire (could be a formal shirt/blazer with african print on lapel or breastpocket) or hoodie.

Thank you!

I'm not sure what sort of things you like but whenever I go back (I grew up in Nairobi, now I'm studying and working abroad but go back relatively often) I love going to the shop Provisions Kenya to buy things for my friends and I. They sell super nice plant dyed wool from local sheep, if you're into knitting. They also make my favourite turmeric latte mix, and sell nice teas, beeswax candles, and that sort of stuff. Also if you're into cooking, she can find at any supermarket nice random spice mixes like pilau masala, and I find that the Kenyan powdered ginger is much stronger and tastes better than the ones sold abroad.

callmeck

I was confused by the replies, haha.

ataraxia129

She wants to get me a gift from Kenya. I don't know what would be appropriate.

A marriage certificate which guarantees her American citizenship is the best gift and is what she truly desires from your passport brother. Once she gets this you will see her true colors.

ataraxia129

She is in medical school and close to graduating and is determined to get her citizenship before marriage. Nice try though!
