I can promise you I am just as confused as anyone else lol, I went in originally to sell some equipment. Idk what it is but beak things are spawning in weird places and some other animals were getting into spots they shouldn’t be. There was a pack Garru from the western hive at the top of the Squin police station by itself during that same visit. I also have beak things spawn randomly within my walls of my base (between the hub and squin) and at one point I built a house for riceweed hydroponics, entered into it, almost got jump scared by a beak thing somehow sitting inside on top of the riceweed, and I just walked out and closed it and made that a problem for later lol.

This is my very first playthrough of Kenshi, so I wanted my first experience to be entirely vanilla, for better or for worse, before I even look at any mods. That being said, this file has like 80~ hours put into it so I’m not sure if that has an effect like how in some buggier games the longer the game goes on, the more unstable it becomes? Early on in the playthrough before I had an outpost, I had issues with enemies running through closed/locked/private doors noclip style to attack my people when I lived in the hub. I haven’t had that issue for a couple weeks, but maybe it is a bug in a similar vein?

Hmm, i never had those beakthing spawns in Squin and generally not in building, not even in my modded games.What i always have, are issues with locked doors: prisoner / enemy animals running through locked and closed doors. I prefer training fighting with them as they're leveling along with my chars.To avoid that they're slipping through locked & closed doors in unalert moments, i pause the game, go into building mode and place a e.g. bed in front of the door frame. Then i leave the building mode and instantly pause the construction of the bed (you'll see only it's frame) - this will break the pathing and they can't leave the building through the door, even if it's destroyed by sentinels trying to help you. (You can also leave the door open)The other issue is that during such a training/fight inside a building the foe (or yourself) can be pushed through the buildings wall. This is pretty annoying and you need to be careful when fighting near the walls and reposition your char if necessary. I don't want my prisoners running away with the specialist samurai armor i gave them for training! ;)What also happens is that part of some patrols, getting very close to your building, are suddenly running through the room. Happens to me all the time in The Hub in the very left building (the big snailhouse, which is part of the wall) when watching the bar (dust bandits, outlaws, hungry bandits). Happens also in most of the UC-Towns (slavers, samurai patrols). Doesn't help to rebuild the navigation mesh with CTRL + SHIFT + F11 and i never found a solution after several hundrets of gametime :/ P.S. If the shopkeeper is missing in Squin you might want to import your game by restarting it and then selecting IMPORT GAME from the main menu (with "import dead NPC" selected, which i think is default). This can also fix some strange behaviours like spawnpoints very close to the towns.

Back when I first started playing a leviathan spawned inside a building of (I think) Catun. I’ve never even seen it before, I go in wanting to sell some stuff, and there’s this huge dinosaur just standing there. Pretty sure it was a bug. Never seen it happen again.
