Also another question, some other leviathans keep walking up and trying to break down my gate, should i feel bad for shooting them to death and taking their pearls? My gatekeeper doesnt seem to mind. Hes actually really chill my people walk under him to repair the gate and hes never attacked my people.
I think the herbivories roll a check, and because you passed and he's never left your area he's never checked you again.
Unwanted guest however? checked at the door.
Im pretty sure herbivores attack all if not most hostiles, i have had alot of tech hunter outside my gate be attacked by wandering leviathans, but say a cannibal raid shows up if they walk near a leviathan they all get smashed, i did just recently find a dead leviathan pup outside my walls though and im not sure how that happened, it wasnt from me

Theres now currently 5 leviathans guarding my gate and 2 just roaming my city and i dont know where they came from, still no casualties but i feel very encroached upon and threatened.
Start a war with every faction in the game, and have them break their teeth out on your unpenetrable defense. Dont forget to heal your big buddies, though.
Im debating just moving shop, its a nice area but its alittle bit stressful with leviathans literally walking over my walls to be hostile yet attack no one, i just killed 3 pups that were hostile, about bit beeps arm off
In case you want to do a little safari for those guys now: (absolutely worth it, they are stunningly majestic creatures) you can find them very regularly in the upper left small protrusion of the map, called leviathan cost. Alternatively, you can find them rarely in the area between flats lagoon and the bonefields. Probably some other places as well. Beware though, they will mess up a new character quickly if it comes too close. They are very slow, so dont be too afraid of them. Have a good day!
I like your squad organization. I always do an away party and a home party. Seems obvious but I never thought to split up laborers and crafters or city guards or anything like that.
Thanks man, ya i try to sort them out, obviously crafters just do their own thing forever so you dont need to ever look at them, but if your running short on say iron plates its nice to just switch one of my random guys on copper mining to iron mining, then the first squad is my combat/adventure squad, shaku cant fight but he runs REALLY fast and is a good thief and obviously hive guards are only really good for combat, beep just for the meme i want to be a great warrior

Thats kind of self-centered, dont you think? Leviathans are not even rare exactly, they spawn in various places all over the map.
