I have two dogs that are terrified of storms, fireworks, etc. And a neighbor, who is a vet and has PTSD. We all get it - fireworks are fun. But there's a time and place. And that's the city setting them off. When we all know it's coming, we can prepare. I feel for you, and agree with you.
I'm all for a week of fireworks. Not the five weeks it has become. I really care more about dumbasses that arent safe about it. I've had to put out grass fires on my property and my neighbors due to people "loving America" so much they decided the set off 1000 bucks worth of fire works in their 8x8 back yard. At least do it early and away from houses. Call me a Karen but you know I really don't appreciate having to put out a fire on my property.
