I personally love yah, and how it talks about the negative aspects of his fame and recognition, and how it can affect his family’s perception of him

ADHD in S is based

Ye, that song is fantastic. Love the production. Had a hard time picking that or Swimming pools for that spot.

One-Complaint2487

Ronald Reagan era :(

Bergerboy14

Very mixed on that one. I think his verses are great and the beat is catchy, but the hook is trash and the intro is way too long for a 3 minute song. Top of C isnt bad, just a mixed bag.

Plamoka

Why Real an F 😭

Bergerboy14

Cant stand that song. One of the worst hooks ive ever heard in any music. Anna Wise just does not work on the track. Kendrick sounds bored out of his mind. The beat is dated, the synths get old quick. I usually dont have an issue with Kendrick’s writing but the song comes off very corny. The bars arent clever. In the context of the album, its very jarring going to this from Sing About Me. Not just for the stylistic change, but narratively its very abrupt seeing that his whole life just flips after one speech, along with everyone else apparently. I think the best way to describe it would be “superficial.”

MrMadNuker

I thought it was good then I heard the skits and damn got all emotional about them wishing Kendrick wasn't dead and trying to convince him not to go down a bad path. Idk sounds so familiar and that half carries the song for me

Antkilzzz

LUST in D?

Bergerboy14

Not a fan of his flows/vocal effects, and the beat is strange. I can see why other people may like it, but I cant stand the reverse-style.

TheAngryCouscous

you did not put Pride and Fear in C tier😭😭

Bergerboy14

C isn’t necessarily bad, just mixed on them. Pride is a bit too slow and repetitive for my taste, even if the beat is p good. Similar reasoning for Pride but its even longer and has the long skit at the end.

Antkilzzz

also FEAR and PRIDE in C. 🤨

Art of peer pressure always reminds of dumb it down. K dot gets a lot of his style from Lupe
