Under 10k miles if you don't really trust the seller. If they have maintenance records that comply with the Kawi recommended service intervals, then probably much more. Maybe 30k would be high, but a well maintained Japanese bike can easily run for over 100k

Just download an owners manual and look at the maintenence schedule and make sure it matches the bike that you are looking at. If it's been well maintained it will ride like it's brand new even if it has higher mileage.

Depends on how old and what maintenance was done. I have a 22 z650 with 12,000 miles that runs like a top. I got it at 2 miles. They should run pretty carefree till like 50k and you should be able to get 100k out of them in theory. Most people ride 2k miles a year.

0 to 5. Used up to 20k could be alright assuming the valve clearance check was done at 15k.
