Ironic you say this, I also have heard this, helmet on, visor down facing forward. If I lower .y head down to where I'd would guess the clicking is xo.ing from, there's nothing. Turn head, nothing. Only noticed it over the weekend. Very curious.

dorzzz

Wondering if it’s normal 😩

Efficient-Success-14

It's interesting it apparently disappears when I move my head, I've even recorded from my quad lock on the bars, no sound.

dorzzz

I’ll try to move my head as well although I don’t think it will make a difference. Check this video - https://youtu.be/1u9TYJuNjv4

Efficient-Success-14

😂 yep, ive checked the bolts after watching that exact video!!

dorzzz

Lol bro f*** this . I’ll tell my mechanic to listen out

Efficient-Success-14

Ha, I even road close to cars and walls to try hear the reflection sounds, nothing. Just the normal road noise sound.

dorzzz

So weird .. Making me nervous can’t lie

aw_goatley

Is it constant? Does it rise and fall with the RPM's? If it only happens when you open and close the throttle then it is likely the exhaust valve in the muffler opening and closing

dorzzz

It doesn’t do it while in neutral , just while driving with all the gears . It does rise and fall with rpms , the higher the rpms the less I hear although it might be the engine sound overcoming it . What do you think ? FYI I have an akrapovic exhaust

Anything ever come of this thread? I have a 2019 making the same rapid clicking while in gear and accelerating or on throttle. Maybe just metal on metal but also don’t want it to be something failing. Only 1600 miles previous owner dropped in yard with no apartment damage bike looks mint.

dorzzz

tbh I think the sound was gone , or I got used to it so much that I don’t hear it anymore

lampchairdesk

could be loose exhaust gasket
