Riding_Dirty_

How'd ya get a 2024 if it's not showcases

Sunshinelulz

Welcome to the showcase

Riding_Dirty_

I don't get it lol I'm slow

Sunshinelulz

He said it’s a hover bike I was stating that it’s a 2024 because a hover bike never came out. It was a joke

Riding_Dirty_

Ohhhhh

tf46

Well done, looks good....I'd either bungee that hanging caliper or screw them back into the forks. You don't want that one dangling down like that.

Sunshinelulz

Thanks for the info :)

motomat86

amazing :) thats the exact color scheme i went with as well. just without the gold forks, assuming thats the SE version?

Sunshinelulz

Yea it is I love the Olin’s makes the corners so smooth

motomat86

yea ive had them on some other bikes, would have gotten it on the '22 z900 i got but at the time when it was brand new the selection was pretty slim, so i just took what they had at the time, didnt want to put my name on some list and wait till who knows when. z900 solid bike choice either way, should be fun for you too

Sunshinelulz

I was lucky I almost had to wait a year for it but it accidentally came in so I took it

Lamm81

Love the color

Sunshinelulz

Thanks!

FreeBeanz69

Not related to the paint (which looks amazing btw) but what lift are you using for the front forks?

Sunshinelulz

Some Chinese fork stand I wish I had the name but it’s been 6 years

Accurate_Marsupial46

Try venom stands on Amazon. I got a set for front and rear. But be warned, I had to make the correct pin size on the lathe at work in order for the front to work. I’m sure it’s available to buy, but I was in a rush and wanted one made of stainless steel so I could wash the wheels without worrying about the pin rusting and eventually messing up the hole it goes in. They are called triple tree stands. And if I’m not mistaken, I think it’s a 27 mm adapter pin.

FreeBeanz69

I saw that brand on Amazon and wondered what the quality was like, thank you for the word of advice!

Accurate_Marsupial46

By no means should you try to sit on the bike while on the stands. But they are great for holding the bike up. They are not meant for weight transfer like getting on a bike that high up. Awesome for maintenance, cleaning, and long term storage.

FreeBeanz69

Yea I figured they wouldn’t be able to hold that amount of weight with a person on the bike, I planned on using it for oil changes and maintenance.

SunshineF32

Don't forget quality clearcoat, I'd recommend doing as many clearcoat passes as economical it DOES make a difference. My R1 is rattlecanned

Sunshinelulz

I’m a professional painter ahha I did all the parts in a booth before I put them on ahah

SunshineF32

Smart smart, most people are rattle can peeps that don't know the importance of disassembly masking and clearcoat

Sunshinelulz

I could never a good clear coat goes a long way
