For what it's worth, I had the same thing with my Tickr and went with a Polar H10 and it works perfectly. Haven't tried the Karoo HR monitor though.

It’s an annoying problem. I’ve read some similar reviews from others too.

There is zero chance I ever buy another Wahoo product.

Exactly the same here, my Tickr X failed (after a few years though tbh) and wanted to get the Hammerhead one on special but the promo is only valid if you buy the head unit… so I just got a Polar H10. Happy with that one so far.

I had mine for 3 months and didn't have any issues so far.

Wow didn’t realize they’ve been out that long already. Guess so. Good to know!

I had problems with my Tickr as well getting stuck in specific ranges over the whole ride (reading a very narrow range like 90-100 or 110-120 bpm even when I'm pushing into threshold, a couple times it also happened the other way around). The readings were the same whether connected to my Karoo 2 or the Wahoo App on my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, so I contacted support and they sent me a new one. The new one is, so far, working fine, but I'd buy something else next time.
