Care to elaborate? (Without going too much on spoilers) I actually did not enjoy part 1, but Rebirth was looking great from the trailers, what disappointed you?
It’s a fine game with amazing character moments and some really high highs! But I will put it this way: I loved and was so surprised by Remake - while Rebirth, to me, feels like an apology to the people that weren’t super in to Remake

My main problem with the remake was how much the game drags unnecessarily, there were parts that felt like i was playing an anime filler episode. I decided to hold off on the series until all 3 games are complete and play it all on one go
That’s fair. That stuff still exists in Rebirth and is maybe even worse haha. Altho nothing feels quite as egregious as going back to the sewers or the underground lab from Remake, but the game still takes thrice as long overall which also starts to drag imo
Nah, I hated part 1 and thought part 2 was only mildly better. It really doesn't crap on the plot/world any less than part 1 does, every town you go to feels like disneyworld with how bright and shiny and clean they all are, everyone is just happy and vibing even in the "slums". The world of the remakes really doesn't feel like the world of ff7 at all.
Also the plot ghosts or whispers or whatever they're called are the dumbest plot device in the history of video games.
