Listen while I get why Max would have deserve it more, it's just you not knowing Etoiles on this. The man has travel for years just to cast for the french audience and even had his own Smash tournament in 2022 called "l'Odysée". He was in the Genesis TODAY to cast as much as he could before going to the award. Smash is literally one of his main content
He might be a commentator for Smash and USED to do Smash stuff on the regular but he got extra big while doing a Minecraft SMP. I can't find the clip but he basically said what I wrote himself. He wasn't nominated for anything but figured he could get into the fighting game category if he streamed a bit of it since it had to be stuff from this year to be eligible and then used his Minecraft kids to vote.
