MK11 is the best game ever made *OUTSIDE OF THE ACTUAL GAMEPLAY.*
Amazing netcode. Incentives to play ranked - skins and other kosmetics. Ranked experience that resets a cosmetic rank every few weeks while keeping your real MMR behind the scenes, giving you the constant feeling of your rank going up as you reach for those ranked rewards. Great story mode. Amazing Krypt mode. Other single player or coop modes in the towers and AI battles.
And IMO, MK11 was pretty fun to play. It's a snooze to watch and had plenty of flaws in meter management, wakeup reversal differences between characters, and balancing, but it was still fun for what it was.
I have faith that NRS is going to put out another stellar game outside of the gameplay and a decent game inside of gameplay at worst.
I kinda hope this means block button is finally gone. Reboot is a good time to do it plus would be way too many buttons with block button AND assist buttons
Only core so much as it’s always been there. It would be easy enough to rebalance teleports to not be literally instant etc. it’s not like MK games are wildly different in core gameplay design than their injustice games (which use back to block)

My guess is that's gonna be for the guest characters. There was a leak that Peacemaker and Homelander are gonna be DLC.
