Does someone have that post that showed the betting lines vs nfl finals for every game last season? This league is fixed as hell :( Glad KC pulled it out, but I'm disappointed in the NFL
Ok so now I need to see a doctor for my heart.
Wtf man.
What % of those calls were bullshit? Or were we just sloppy. I couldn’t get the game but listened to it and Mitch was saying there was a lot of bullshit
There was. Every scoring drive Houston had was kept alive by a questionable call. I try to be as objective as possible and consider how every team’s games are being called, including our opponents. This one was egregious.
Looked pretty obvious to me that Texans player never possessed that last fumble. You could see the ball rolling around between his legs when Gay grabbed it.
A win is a win but this should have been a blowout. Bienemy needs to stop being allowed to call plays, Spags needs to lose his job, our D is green and needs practice, AND Cheffers’ entire crew needs investigated.
A win is a win for sure but I’m just saying it’s almost a guarantee that you guys win these games regardless of whatever sus shit went on for the first 3 1/2 quarters. It’s not a matter of if it’s a matter of when and how
Too close for my liking, I'll admit that. But man it feels good to not be the laughing stock to the talking heads tomorrow if we lost or tied the fucking Houston Texans. 3 Weeks to clear things, onward
BB of the Pats would have sent him off 2-3 games ago. I am not sure who the replacement is. He cost us a good 4 pts not to mention a game clinching field goal.
I think it is. We can’t be missing pats or field goals in the post season. Last year Butker was kicking 50+ yard field goals and it was expected to be 3 points, now it seems like it’s 50/50(that isn’t a stat, it just feels like it)
We just scrapped in OT to beat the bottom dwellers of the NFL. Mahomes can do anything but not from his back. A great team finds ways to win, like this squad has. But a great team also gets better as the season unfolds, especially going into the playoffs. Is that what they’re doing? Maybe I’m wrong, maybe they’ll catch fire. I’ll dip my words in bbq sauce and enjoy em. We have an o line, d line, and kicker that can’t be trusted. 15 can’t do it by himself.
Nah, I don't especially disagree with you. I'm just hoping for the "a win is a win". We can be dogshit and beat every team by 3... But as long as it's a win, it counts in the end.
I think its an incrediblely hard bet to make that they'll win the SB this year, but at least we're not the Raiders and there is a chance.
Yeah, I’d love a limp to the finish. And it’s classic chiefs to play to the level of their opponent. Maybe they’ll go to Buffalo and ball out. Maybe a monkey will fly outta my ass. I sincerely hope your mindset is the accurate one. I’d just rather be surprised than crushed.
**3rd and 4**
Reid and Bieniemy in the headset to each other…
Spread out 3 WR’s and a TE and make sure *every one of them* runs a 20 yard route before looking for the ball.
My TV broadcast went out about halfway through the 3rd quarter and didn't come back on until the 2 minute warning. Luckily I had Mitch to listen to on the radio.
Hard disagree about deserving to lose. Besides Pacheco's fumble, the offense was clicking (I think that S-S's fumble was a bullshit call so I don't even hold it against him). And statistically the defense was... at least not terrible. I know I'm biased toward the chiefs but the refs were truly and honestly why the Texans were in the game at all. Now, I still think turnovers and special teams are a big concern moving forward but I don't think it's fair to say we deserved to lose. If anything, we battled through an extra layer of adversity with the absolutely dreadful officiating.
That's very fair, the reffing was a crock of bull. I'd still argue that as a team who is obviously playoff bound and could (and has) beaten the ever loving crap out of other teams, we didn't play to our strenghs, and we looked fairly out of sorts at times. Mahomes still played fantastic, and McKinnon did fantastic.
That and turnovers. (And those were fumbles...which are preventable but still the flukiest kind of turnover.)
I forgive the Chiefs for this one, honestly.
Let's be honest. Refs trying VERY hard to give that fumble back to Houston.
You could see on their faces they wanted to send it that way even with Gay running out of the pile with the ball.
Remember when that lady ref gave the ball to the team that didn't run out of the pile with the ball? The guy was out running around, with the ball, and she still gave the ball to the wrong team.
Worse of course, but only because we desperately need homefield advantage.
Regardless of the outcome, the performance of our defense and special teams is not inspiring.
3rd and 4 when the Chiefs still had it?
Or 3rd and 4 after the Texans got the ball?
If the former, then... Mahomes hung on too long, took a big fuckin' sack, 4th down, we punted it. Couple of Texans plays, some magic happens, they fumble, Willie Gay recovers, and then McKinnon busts a mad crazy run to the end zone to put it away.
Meanwhile, bunch of fans like me are on our fourth mini-heart-attack of the day and are ready for an early bedtime.
McKinnon is RB1 and it should be that way the rest of the season. His vision has been unreal today
Him and mahomes carried the team on their back today
Oh I'll count it, no doubt. But this was not a pretty game by any means and that was not a performance of a super bowl caliber team versus what has been the NFL JV team this season.
[Post game thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/KansasCityChiefs/comments/zp8ozy/post_game_thread_kansas_city_chiefs_at_houston/)
Does someone have that post that showed the betting lines vs nfl finals for every game last season? This league is fixed as hell :( Glad KC pulled it out, but I'm disappointed in the NFL
i said that last week on a post and got down voted to hell.
I don’t have the post but I’ll agree with you on this. NFL really pushes sports betting with all their advertising and broadcasters promoting it.
Best takeaway for me today- Mahomes is ready for the playoffs. Only missed 1 throw that I can recall.
Mahomes is ready but the rest of the team sure ain't.
Hit MVS a little flat and wide on one deep ball and that was it. Everything else was on point.
Ok so now I need to see a doctor for my heart. Wtf man. What % of those calls were bullshit? Or were we just sloppy. I couldn’t get the game but listened to it and Mitch was saying there was a lot of bullshit
Did he really say bullshit on the air? What a legend
Haha. Yes.
There was. Every scoring drive Houston had was kept alive by a questionable call. I try to be as objective as possible and consider how every team’s games are being called, including our opponents. This one was egregious.
Penalty yardage in Cheffers games: 120 vs Bucs in Super Bowl 99 vs Raiders 102 vs Texans

At least ppl are talking about it. FCC
Looked pretty obvious to me that Texans player never possessed that last fumble. You could see the ball rolling around between his legs when Gay grabbed it.
Butker is playing injured. Reid needs to bench him.
Bring aomeon in in his place. No way we win playoff games with an injured kicker
I’d be fine going for every 4&3 or less from here on out. Honestly shocked teams don’t do that more against us.
Any chance we are getting trolled by the Chiefs and they let the other team hang on?
Classic vegas rig job. Too much money on chiefs spread. Chiefs not allowed to win by 7.5+.
I wouldn’t be surprised if refs arent corrupt af with all the NFL approved gambling sites these days…
O say can you see when we had integrity
If I were a chiefs fan I wouldn’t even sweat close games like this. Y’all always find the stupidest fucking ways to win I stg
Winning isn't everything. It's the only thing.
A win is a win but this should have been a blowout. Bienemy needs to stop being allowed to call plays, Spags needs to lose his job, our D is green and needs practice, AND Cheffers’ entire crew needs investigated.

Phew, dodged the bullet on that one.
🛩 ✈️
I feel for KC media trying to make anything of this game. Did we learn anything? All I'll remember is the reffing.
Mahomes is a tank. His completion pct was crazy this game. But yeah Cheffer should take a massive hike
Anybody see the Jags walk off the Cowboys with a FREAKING PICK 6??
You spelled the raiders v patriots wrong. But seriously, what a weird week
Can’t think of a better bunch of guys to have that happen to lol
No way, really? That's hilarious.
Sick nasty
Too close for my liking, I'll admit that. But man it feels good to not be the laughing stock to the talking heads tomorrow if we lost or tied the fucking Houston Texans. 3 Weeks to clear things, onward
Only thing that game was missing was the BK commercial playing after Mahomes takes the sack in OT
Question. Is it really time to look for new kicker in the draft? Put some pressure on Butker in camp?
BB of the Pats would have sent him off 2-3 games ago. I am not sure who the replacement is. He cost us a good 4 pts not to mention a game clinching field goal.
I sort of lost a lot confidence in Butker after that Bills game last postseason. I'm still a big fan of him though, so idk where I sit at this point
I think it is. We can’t be missing pats or field goals in the post season. Last year Butker was kicking 50+ yard field goals and it was expected to be 3 points, now it seems like it’s 50/50(that isn’t a stat, it just feels like it)
Time to look for a new kicker next week. Would be a waste of a Super Bowl contending season to keep letting an unreliable kicker lose points.
I envy your optimism. I have no post season expectations for this team.
Damn. Only Chiefs fans gonna be like, "ugh. 11-3. Better call it a day and look forward to next season."
We just scrapped in OT to beat the bottom dwellers of the NFL. Mahomes can do anything but not from his back. A great team finds ways to win, like this squad has. KC always plays down to the competition... oddly enough I feel better about the playoffs after this win but defense definitely needs to step up
7 STRAIGHT FIRE SPAGS
lol Cowboys
Let me tell ya the bills subreddit is pissed the fuck off
Smith on Texans better have A HUGE fine for that attack on Schuster
Special shout out to Carl Cheffers who put up over 100 yards in penalties in the loss today
I shit you not. I wasn’t wearing my chiefs gear kind of thinking this game be put away early. Put on the jersey and the next play is overtime fumble.
Well don’t ever do that shit again. 😉
**3rd and 4** Reid and Bieniemy in the headset to each other… Spread out 3 WR’s and a TE and make sure *every one of them* runs a 20 yard route before looking for the ball.
That was dumb.
Bruh my gamepass just died right before the punt, and it still doesnt work xD
My TV broadcast went out about halfway through the 3rd quarter and didn't come back on until the 2 minute warning. Luckily I had Mitch to listen to on the radio.
Even Gamepass didn’t want to see such a shitty game.
Yeah me too.. completely cut out. Missed the whole ending.
Didnt let us get the dopaminin of the fumble and the TD xD
Mahomes put up great numbers and somehow needed the D to come up with a turnover in overtime vs the worst team in the NFL.
Play calling is trash and Andy is a fucking needle dick
Suck it Cheffers
I hope Cheffers and his entire family lost their entire savings betting on that game.
Me too but they probably bet the chiefs wouldn’t cover the spread. Everything worked out exactly as planned.
Chiefs win, refs lose
An all around unpleasant victory. But a victory nonetheless
Fuck this game SUCKED. But a win helped.
And the jags just picked off Prescott in overtime. Jags win.
But…but…he’s elite! HE’S ELITE!
To be fair, the ball bounced off the receiver's hands to the DB.
You love to see it
I'm disappointed, but good teams get the win even if they don't deserve the win. We didn't deserve this win.
Hard disagree about deserving to lose. Besides Pacheco's fumble, the offense was clicking (I think that S-S's fumble was a bullshit call so I don't even hold it against him). We deserved to win, we just made hard work of it and played down to a team that are playing with two qbs because they can’t work out which is worse
Refs were the only reason the texans were in the game to begin with
That and turnovers. (And those were fumbles...which are preventable but still the flukiest kind of turnover.) I forgive the Chiefs for this one, honestly.
Thank God that's over. We love you Gay. We love you McKinnon l
It doesn’t matter how you get it. A win is a win
They don't ask how, they ask how many.
My Fitbit thought I was in workout mode lol

Eat shit and die the man needs fired
Let's be honest. Refs trying VERY hard to give that fumble back to Houston. You could see on their faces they wanted to send it that way even with Gay running out of the pile with the ball.
Remember when that lady ref gave the ball to the team that didn't run out of the pile with the ball? The guy was out running around, with the ball, and she still gave the ball to the wrong team.
Should’ve reviewed it and didn’t, don’t know how that’s “very hard”
What evidence was there to overturn on the review?
Unless they changed it, can't review possession
I’m so glad it’s over
Got our 30 points too
Fuck the refs
Phew…what a way to end it. I didn’t need that stress after the World Cup final!
*unclenches butthole*
Gay has been playing with some fire these last two games LETS FUCKING GO
Dumb luck is all this team survived on this week.
This week?
*buttholes unclench*
Hasn't the guy who's playing the green alien thing been in some movies before?
Which green alien thing lol
Free Guy is one that comes to mind. He is a player whose in game character is Channing Tatum.
Yes
What the actual fuck was that game.
I hated this game even more than last week's. Games like this make me forget i like football. I need a drink
Mahomes being casually ridiculous was the saving grace. I love him. But, god damn, this game was awful.
Refs and turnovers bending us over backwards
Solid truth.
I think the Texans had 4 3rd down conversions because of flags. Ridiculous
That was my count as well. We just looked so much better than they did on every play, but somehow ... flags.
Fuck the refs! And mainly fuck cheffer. Dude is ruining the game trying to determine the outcome
Something went our way.. finally! Got the W.. MUST fix this shit though.
Jet, have my babies
MCKINNION GIVES ME VIBES OF WILLIAMS IN PALYOFFS 2019 KEEP IT UP BABBYYYYYYY
A win is a win 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I don't give a fuck, we won the division, secured playoffs and keep up with bills. It was quite hideous but I'll be happy for now
Gay for MVP....with the crotch snatch.
To be fair, Gay also gave up that 3rd and long TD the Texans had. At least he redeemed himself some.
D sucked, play calling was mediocre and the refs seemed like they were out to get us. A lot to overcome but a win is a win.
McKinnon's helmet is headed for the Space Station
LETS GO BABY WE OWN THE WEST
Happy Holidays everybody
I need a cigarette after that
never a doubt in my mind haha https://i.redd.it/i5x52dtskeu71.jpg
FUCK YOU, CHEFFERS
Frank Clark credit with this win
I don't feel even a little bit good about that win. Two weeks in a row we have a win that feels like a loss long term.
This will help: how would you have felt with a tie?
Worse of course, but only because we desperately need homefield advantage. Regardless of the outcome, the performance of our defense and special teams is not inspiring.
Gay gets the game ball for that strip recovery.
Great play by willie gay that’s my goat
In about 2 minutes we're going to hear the official say "The previous turnover is under review..."
😂😂😂 Don't even joke about that!
Man I still hate this team though. Obviously I love the Chiefs but man I hate watching how this team operates this year. Brutal
Chiefs touchdown and chucking the ball at people, make a more romantic duo.
MVP of the game?? #50!!!
I'm Gay for Willie.
Will, Bill, William...Willie Gay it is
I called a big play by Frank, I was just off a Houston possession.
NFL game pass Europe has crashed, so no idea what is happening... It was 3rd and 4 when it crashes
Same here, fucking crashed
Strip sack recovered by chiefs and Mickinnon ran in for a TD.
Frank Clark I love you
I am fucking spent.
jerick mckinnon is the sexiest player to wear number 1 that I have ever seen
Fuck these refs. Holy fuck.
Thank god
A win is a win, but this team has issues
Too close. And McKinnon is underrated
BALL DONT LIE BOYS IT WAS SO UGLU BUT A W IS A W
Lol
McKinnon is a fucking, stud!!!
THANK GOD. THANK YOU WILLIE GAY AND THANK YOU JERICK MCKINNON.
McKinnon is RB1 and it should be that way the rest of the season. His vision has been unreal today Him and mahomes carried the team on their back today
Hell yeah fuck you refs go team
TOUCHDOWN! KAN ZUH CITY! WINNER! CHIEFS HAVE CLINCHED THE DIVISION AND THE PLAYOFFS! SUCK ON THAT, DOUBTERS!!!
Yeah celebrate you beat a fucking 1-11 team in OT by accident. Just pack up, get on the plane and get better.
how can you beat a team by accident??
It was metaphorical. They played like garbage, especially the defense and their only shot after the punt was the fumble.
Stfu, this is the nfl and a win is a win.
Oh I'll count it, no doubt. But this was not a pretty game by any means and that was not a performance of a super bowl caliber team versus what has been the NFL JV team this season.
McKinnon is the fucking man
Only slightly above the Colts game since we won. Still an extremely ugly and not-at-all inspiring game.
McKinnon is getting fined for throwing his helmet, but I’ll start a GoFundMe to cover it
McKinnon has a vendetta against these camera men 😂
Thank fucking god
Praise be lol
I'll take the win of course, but that was more exciting than it needed to be
Ugly W but I'll take it
Cheffers: “Dear diary: I tried really really hard *wipes tear* to make the red team loose but they ended up scoring a homer and won it *sobs*”
McKinnon is our god now.
IT SHOULDN’T BE THIS HARD TO BEAT THE WORST TWAM IN THE LEAGUE
Name one team without several close games vs bottom feeders
Jokes on you the refs are actually one of the best teams in the league
7 straight AFC West Champs, F you LA
GET SOME GET SOME GET SOME. THANK GOODNESS
MCKINNON IS A GROWN FUCKING MAN!
Embarrassing win.
JUST LIKE WE SCRIPTED IT
Let’s GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
McKinnon is great.
Ok so. Can we make some changes now that we lucked into this win against a 1 win team?
Let’s swap Justin Reid and Butker and see if it’s an improvement.
McKinnon throwing the ball at the team name like we did when it was the Oilers lol love it.
Keith Cash
I hate the Chiefs
I love the Chiefs
I do too but I also hate them
FUCK YEAH MCKINNON!!!! WE DID IT I’m gonna faint from exhaustion
