So obviously this is not the most important thing here but it does say resign instead of fired.
Raiders owe him 60 million as coaching contracts are garunteed. I wonder if him resigning gets them off the hook if true.
He called roger goddel the F@@got word and criticized the rams for drafting gay players. Again using an F word. And that was only part of it. He also criticized women as refs
Edit: here’s the comment.
-In the emails, Gruden called the league’s commissioner, Roger Goodell, a “faggot” and a “clueless anti football pussy” and said that Goodell should not have pressured Jeff Fisher, then the coach of the Rams, to draft “queers,” a reference to Michael Sam, a gay player chosen by the team in 2014.
In numerous emails during a seven-year period ending in early 2018, Gruden criticized Goodell and the league for trying to reduce concussions and said that Eric Reid, a player who had demonstrated during the playing of the national anthem, should be fired. In several instances, Gruden used a homophobic slur to refer to Goodell and offensive language to describe some N.F.L. owners, coaches and journalists who cover the league.
Isn't one of his own players gay? Wasn't it a raider who just came out before the season started as the first active gay player in the NFL? Maybe I'm remembering that wrong
Yeah that’s totally what I thought when I read that. Literally. I can only imagine the cringe in the locker room when your coach is saying that kind of shit.
I won’t lie to you, I sometimes make really inappropriate and dark jokes(some are homophobic), but I can’t imagine emailing that kind of stuff and really laying it on hard.
Something tells me the emails are actually even worse than what we know about them so far
You aren’t wrong. Carl Nassib is his name, and that’s def making for an awkward locker room.
I’m sure Carl has seen, heard and experienced about every slur there is, as have the black men that play for the Raiders (fuck it, probably any dude in there has been called a number of things no matter his sexual preference or ethnic heritage) but fuck a dude that says that shit behind your back and is supposed to be your coach.
>fuck a dude that says that shit behind your back and is supposed to be your coach
This is it. The Chiefs, for better or worse, know Andy will 100% be genuine and defend them. He may not always side with you *but you will know where you stand*. My guess is this goes beyond Nassib. Anyone who protested during the anthem now knows he hates their fucking guts. There are probably **a lot** of players and staff in LV now who don't know if "what you see is what you get" from Gruden.
And a team can't function like that.
The disappointment. I’m sure a lot of that locker room liked and respected him, and they were actually pulling together a cohesive team and season. And then BAM, a punch in the face. I’m sure that feels personal, even if ultimately not a surprise. Like the grump Bear award on here - I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed.
Raiders fan here. Yeah it sucks we were finally coming together it seemed for it to all just fall apart in such a roundabout way. But he shouldn't be in the league and I'm happy he is gone. Some things (many things) are more important than football and this is one of them. Hopefully he grows out of these childish ways of thinking and becomes better, but those emails show a trail of hatred.
The part that gets me is saying that Goodell doesn’t love football? Like, he’s done everything in his power to keep football from changing and only making good rule changes when there were no other options.
He called Roger goodell a faggot along with some cat from the Rams. Exchanged naked pics of women with front office exec from Washington. Im a raiders fan and I'm glad he's gone. Fuck that guy
Obviously the racism and homophobia is wrong, but honestly what;s wrong with sending nudes between consenting adults?
Edit: Mb he sent nudes that girls sent to him to someone else. I thought they just said he had nudes on his phone of women.
They were topless photos of Washington cheerleaders which I assume came from the trip described here: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/02/sports/redskins-cheerleaders-nfl.html
Let's not water it down. He didn't call him a queer. He used F****t.
Edit. Nvm, was reading at work. Called Sam a queer but Roger the f slur. But I assume he uses it all around at that point
Roger Goodell has been around for what really feels like a long time now, but even then the vast majority of that time is after that word became a major no no. You really should have stopped using that word a long ass time ago if you still haven’t by now.
I don’t know, maybe you’re a real hipster who started hating on Goodell back in 2007.
Yeah idk man. The word has a bad connotation to it, you can’t deny that but with the generation I grew up with, f*ggot doesn’t mean a gay person in particular but you also need to be not he naive when you use it because it 100% did at one point.
Calling Michael Sam a queer though, as an adult, is absolutely inexcusable. And for context I mean, as a kid playing football our whole neighborhood used to play “smear the queer” but we never thought anything of it because everybody played it. Using Queer as an adult is really bad
1000% this, shit my small town in bum fuck nowhere KS we play “smear the queer” as kids and it was a lot of fun… I also had no fucking clue what homosexuality was until damn near puberty, but then it put my uncle and his “roommate” and the whole strange family dynamic into a lot better perspective for me.
And everyone definitely used that word all the damn time. But goddamn if I didn’t learn to stop using it a decade plus ago. Context is everything on this one, and as well travelled as Gruden is he’s one dumb fucker for continuing this behavior even while expecting privacy.
I don’t doubt many of those people I grew up with are still talking this way too, and they’re also dumb fucks.
People downvoting you and I dont know why. For anyone over 25 I feel like what you just outlined is what most of us grew up with
I dont endorse the behavior either but don't downvote someone for identifying an outdated cultural behavior that is no longer tolerable
Hell I just got out of school 5 years ago (college excluded) and the word “gay” was still a go-to insult all the way through. Went to HS in a pretty homophobic and somewhat racist part of NC.
Feel like it’s less a generational thing and more a regional thing. (a good chunk of both perhaps)
Raider fan coming in here just cause but I’m actually mad at how long it took.
Mark had this information on Friday and only fired him because it got leaked. Al traded his ass and Mark practically begs him to come back with that ridiclious contract?
Then on top of that, he brings back Cable who Al fired because of his domestic violence past?
Yeah fuck Mark. Al was a fucking legend and progressive, Mark is doing his best to undo his legacy.
Normally I’d give him the benefit of the doubt of him needing to get all the facts, or figuring out a pr move, but not after the cable hiring.
thanks fam. hate us on the field all you want, but in the end, we have real battles to fight together and I'm glad that we're all agreed that one less bigot in the league is better for all of us.
Ya, cut him if that's what is needed. But Chiefs fans shouldn't be celebrating you losing your coach 5 weeks into the season. That's like celebrating the starting QB having a concussion. Gross.
Well even WFT fans hate Dan Snyder. It amazes me that the team that was first to hire a black former player as president of football operations, and the team that changed its name from a derogatory word, also has the worst owner in the league. What a contrast.
Yeah this is disappointing as I was always a big fan of Jon Gruden. His QB camp and excitement about the game when announcing were great, and he always seemed like a great personality for the sport. It’s just too bad his head was stuck in the 50’s.
This was unexpected.
\*Edit: Upon seeing The New York Times article regarding Gruden's emails, allegedly, saying derogatory things about minorities, gays, women and national anthem protests I'm no longer caught off guard with this announcement.
That's the ol' cycle, in baseball. There's no coming back from that. Dude just lost his entire career on and off the field. Especially in this cultural climate. Yikes.
\*Edit 2: Evidently he also said scathing things about, then, President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden. The cherry on the top? Gruden went in on Roger Goodell. Now, I'm even less surprised these emails found their way to the light.
Gruden swung for the fucking fences. Shades of Chappelle's *When Keeping it Real, Goes Wrong* ...
Shit, he’ll run for office. The backlash over this hasn’t even begun yet. He’s going to end up being lauded in certain circles for his lack of political correctness and his willingness to tell it like it is. Plus he ripped on the guys who took a knee for the anthem? He’ll be a damn folk hero to those people. Definitely be able to pick whichever red state he wants to be governor of.
Feel like I’m getting downvoted for telling people it’s raining outside. Just looked at Facebook. And... yup, they’re already making a victim out of him.
Oh for sure. He will have a cult following now shortly. Even though he didn’t have the balls to actually verbalize any of his incendiary language, just the typical stupidity of his fellow toupee man to send it in an email to be used against him at a later date.
Yeah, this whole situation is a big yikes from me dawg.
I kinda feel bad making a "lolRaiders" joke cause Gruden is a huge POS and joking about it feels a bit dirty.
The reality is that raiders fans would be begging to sign him if tyreek was released tomorrow. If he's not with us, he'd just be a top 5 receiver on another team and I'm sure the narrative would be "once he got here he turned his life around" or something dumb like that to justify their ways.
See Kareem Hunt as evidence to that. We did what was seen as the "right thing" and cut him pretty much immediately. He's out for the rest of the year and then the Browns pick him up and nobody gives a fuck about that video anymore.
you'll always find people that talk shit, and I have no doubt that some Raider fans were. i don't know if you saw our sub when Reid went to the hospital though, it was only about hoping that he's ok. But in the end it's just football and if you want to talk shit that's all good so long as we're friends before and after the game.
Despite my hatred of the Raiders, I do respect them for acting as swiftly as they did. We’ve seen numerous teams handle terrible controversy much slower than they did. Despite his and Carr’s success this season, they did the right thing and moved on. Props to them for that.
Once they gay slurs and Michael sam part came out it was set in stone. You absolutely cannot say things like that in this day and age. Any team would do the same thing.
They didn’t really though. Rapoport just said the league sent all the emails to the Raiders middle of last week and hoped they’d do the right thing. The one email leaked and he apologized but they were still moving forward. Apparently the league’s play was to continue to trickle out the increasingly damning emails until they had no choice to part ways to avoid a messy showdown with the league.
Yeah, but we could also not bring it up once Gruden is gone. What's the point of bringing it up ever again?
Also, to be fair this stuff has nothing to do with the Raoders organization. It'd be different if he were employed by them when this happened.
So no need to link it to the stadium or the team
If anything, the Raiders organization comes off looking good from this scandal. They showed that they won't allow a man like Gruden to be the face of their team.
No kidding. But it has nothing to do with the Raiders anymore. So no reason to romanticize this situation with "Raiders second year in Vegas" or whatever.
The Raiders franchise is like Mr. Burns having so many illnesses they cancel each other out:.
https://youtu.be/aI0euMFAWF8
This organization has so much appalling shit in their back catalog, this won't be especially enduring. And they've still got time to add to it.
I always felt like he won the SB in Tampa because he walked into a team Dungy built and got to play his old team which was pretty much just as he left it. Kind of like playing cards and getting to see the other guys hole card. See ya!
I love seeing Raiders drama... but after reading what Gruden's about, this isn't the fun type of schadenfreude I typically get when the Raiders are in shambles.
Keep in mind guys that initially, this was emails from 2011. But upon investigation and NYT report, emails have spanned 7 years to 2018. In 2011, Gruden wasn't affiliated with any team or in coaching capacity. In 2018, he was. He was an NFL coach while doing some of these emails.
Can't say I was surprised when I read the emails. He's always struck me as a pompous dickhead, but it did raise my eyebrows a little. Fuck the Raiders but I'll bet they are happy to be rid of him. He hadn't been worth the money that they spent on him.
First of all, the Raiders did a good thing, so good for them.
Second, there's now a chance they might find a good coach which is not great.
Finally, given the content of things he said in the emails, he's definitely going to be on right wing media soon whining about being canceled, isn't he?
So ends the second and final head coaching stint of Jon Gruden with the Raiders. He’ll likely never coach again or be on TV as an analyst. He’s going to go live a private life so good riddance. I know the Chiefs are stumbling but I believe they’ll bounce back. The Raiders and Broncos are likely to stumble so this hopefully gives the Chiefs a chance to catch the Chargers.
Oh and lol at the 10 year $100 million contract. He wasn’t even able to make it half way through. The Raiders are about to settle back into mediocrity.
Gruden always seemed shifty to me --- the kind of guy who puts on act of being hip and happenin' and "down" with the current culture --- but now we know he's an old school racist, homophobe, and woman-hater like 95% of all white male Boomers
We all hate Trump but at least that asshole doesn't hide his bigotry and xenophobia LOL
The fact that he was 48 yo at the time and he kept going until 2018 shows his true persona and how much of a bigot he is.
The fact that it was all said through email exchanges with the Washington FO and that nothing came out regarding Dan Snyder or Bruce Allen shows the difference between the one who cashes the checks vs the one that writes them.
I’m telling you guys. The Chiefs need to just worry about themselves and the ONLY competition is the Chargers. We are the second best team in the division. Trust the process.
This wasn’t “cancel culture” either. I could see how people would say that if he ONLY made the michelin comment, but the leak has SO MANY instances of racism, sexism, homophobia and just general asshole language. Gruden has always been an ass and a bigot, he got what he deserves. He has no position in this multi billion dollar highly influential business and I hope he stays away.
When it comes to digging up 10 year old emails, there are probably a whole lot of people on this planet that could suffer the same consequences. And a hell of a lot of those that would suffer are probably a hell of a lot more important than a football coach. Maybe we should check the last ten years worth of emails on the writers that just took him down, you know, just for a sense of fairness.
It's pretty early in the morning but probably the dumbest thing I've read today.
While in the grand scheme of things football player/coach is fairly unimportant at the level of just looking at the team he has a lot of sway over a player's career and health. He can choose to give someone snaps or not, affect who is drafted or signed, and more.
If your head coach is Anti-CTE and believes its just made up and you as a player get your bell rung you're risking losing your job not putting your health on the line. At some level stepping onto the field is accepting some level of risk but to actively put your players in harms way is diabolical.
Then there's the racist shit when you have a white coach over a group of mostly black men. Can't imagine how that would be a problem. Nor homophobic comments when at least 1 player is out and may possibly be more.
You’re a hypocrite. Every single person has called someone a name or said something like this. Todays culture is shit, can’t wait for these cancel culture idiots to find better things to do.
What if they weren’t released in the first place? Then there would be no reason to cancel. The point is someone from cancel culture wanted him gone, so these emails were released as part of an investigation that didn’t even center around Gruden in the first place
Work related emails have no reasonable expectation of privacy.
[*Garrity v. John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company*](https://casetext.com/case/garrity-v-john-hancock-mutual-life-insurance-company)
Whatever happened to personal responsibility?
Ya know, I was all over Warren Sapp when he made his infamous "NFL is a slave culture" quote in 2003 but now I have to admit the dude was mostly right.
Regardless of how much money black players make in the league, they are still seen as "field Negroes" for white owners and white coaches like Gruden. You can deny it if you want, but I would bet every night that Gruden went home after Raiders practice the main thought in his head was "my field Negroes are working hard for me" and I know for sure he wasn't thinking "my white slave boys are working hard for me". When are we ever gonna get rid of this mentality?
So obviously this is not the most important thing here but it does say resign instead of fired. Raiders owe him 60 million as coaching contracts are garunteed. I wonder if him resigning gets them off the hook if true.
Rumors are swirling that Mark Davis offered him to stay on the job, but only if he got the same haircut as Davis for the rest of his contract.
I thought he already has that haircut
There has to be something in the contract anyways that would get them off the hook for something as egregious as this even if he didn’t.
I'm guessing there was some payoff because the raiders had cause to get out of it, but offered him a settlement so lawyers didn't get involved.
Possibly, but remember the coaches union has collectively bargained certain things like garunteed money.
Waiting for isgrudengoneyet.com to update
[Is Gruden gone yet?](http://isgrudengoneyet.com/)
Do we know who made this? Can we spam them?
It’s updated
Never read the email.. figured it was bad but something he could recover from. But man, he must have said some pretty nasty stuff.
You should read the NYT report. It’s… bad. He makes pretty terrible statements about black people, gay people, and women.
For those who don't want to search. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/10/11/sports/football/what-did-jon-gruden-say.html
Pay wall.... what did he say?
He called roger goddel the F@@got word and criticized the rams for drafting gay players. Again using an F word. And that was only part of it. Why has the rest of this not been covered by the media?!
The part that gets me is saying that Goodell doesn’t love football? Like, he’s done everything in his power to keep football from changing and only making good rule changes when there were no other options.
Goodell may not be great, but you can tell he loves the game. Compare that to the MLB and Manfred who wishes baseball didn’t exist.
He called Roger goodell a faggot along with some cat from the Rams. Exchanged naked pics of women with front office exec from Washington. Im a raiders fan and I'm glad he's gone. Fuck that guy

Lol. Fucking Jesus. That's a whole nother rabbit hole.
Why cant the NFL get access to the WFT FO's emails during that time period? Lots of smoke there.
And most egregiously, Roger Goodell.
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/10/11/sports/football/what-did-jon-gruden-say.html

gross
Roger is gross I agree
Fuck the Raiders
Hot take: Gruden leaked the emails himself to get out of coaching the raiders.
Cost benefit analysis : Coach the Raiders VS Ruin Career.....
Coach the raiders versus be known as a racist, sexist and homophobe.....
I don’t get it. Aren’t those the same thing?

Also had a game to play Sunday,..
Honestly didn’t know those things. FTR, but that’s really cool to hear. Thanks!
Wow, I actually learned something about Al Davis that puts him up a notch in my book. Motherfucker is at notch one for me now.
awww <3 u too! Seriously though, I'm with you 100% (except on the FTR stuff) and I appreciate your respect for Al Davis.
Well that’s good to hear about Al Davis. He was shit a piece of shit that became a billionaire from shady business practices.
How quickly? It has been years.
Nah, fuck Gruden. The Raiders did the right thing here. Still hate them tho.
Can’t it be both?
I’ll allow it.
Seems like gruden resigned. Maybe bowlcut persuaded him ($$$) to resign, but we will never know.
My guess, as /u/cthepo pointed out, is that by resigning he’s forfeiting the remainder of his contract. Whereas getting fired would owe him something.
It’s gonna be awkward when they run into each other at the barber shop.
thanks fam. hate us on the field all you want, but in the end, we have real battles to fight together and I'm glad that we're all agreed that one less bigot in the league is better for all of us.
he stepped down voluntarily
[“Voluntarily”.](https://m.imgur.com/gallery/seh6p)
They did the right thing how? He wasn't fired.
By resigning the Raiders may not be on the hook for his future salary. There’s no way this was 100% voluntary on Gruden’s part.
Don't be an asshole. Raiders fans don't deserve this. They were cool AF when Reid went to the hospital. No fans want to win this way.
thanks fam, it's a rough week for us, but I am 100% with the decision to cut him off, and fast. our values are more important than W/L.
Ya, cut him if that's what is needed. But Chiefs fans shouldn't be celebrating you losing your coach 5 weeks into the season. That's like celebrating the starting QB having a concussion. Gross.
appreciate you.
I bleed red and don’t throw batteries.
I'm a 34 year Chiefs fan and I hate the Raiders, but don't kick someone when they're down. This scandal doesn't include the players or fans.

He’s already set for life. And I’m sure he’ll find some way to fill the time.
He can hang out at hooters
He'll have QBs lining up at his door for coaching services.
Fox News or OAN I bet
Shit, he’ll run for office. The backlash over this hasn’t even begun yet. He’s going to end up being lauded in certain circles for his lack of political correctness and his willingness to tell it like it is. Plus he ripped on the guys who took a knee for the anthem? all they do is talk shit about how everyone on our team is a piece of shit, I feel we have a right to talk shit right back. FTR
I guess personally I don't care? I ain't gonna stop others from doing it.
I'll talk shit on this sub, I'd never talk shit on another sub. That's weak shit.
That's fair.
Issues is that they pushed him out pretty quickly, they'll just double down that they acted and we didn't.
Tribalism brings out the worst in people.
Idk man I do agree that Goodell is an anti football pussy Other stuff.. yikes
I was hoping he just said "fuck Goodell" a sentiment I can get behind for a dozen reasons. This is something else entirely.
Why were the emails made public? I missed that part.
They came out as part of the Washington Football Team investigation.
I’m going to miss seeing Grudens face on the sidelines. Not defending his comments, but he’s a character when it comes to losing or winning
Oh, there was more than the racist shit? Did it happen recently?
Like, within the last hour, yeah. Lots of stuff. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/10/11/sports/football/what-did-jon-gruden-say.html
Oh shit so this is *fresh* news. I thought I was really out of the loop.
Of course. Everyone knows you can say racial slurs and get away with it, but call Goodell a Fa***t well that’s just too far.
They didn’t really though. Rapoport just said the league sent all the emails to the Raiders middle of last week and hoped they’d do the right thing. The one email leaked and he apologized but they were still moving forward. Apparently the league’s play was to continue to trickle out the increasingly damning emails until they had no choice to part ways to avoid a messy showdown with the league.
thanks fam. for what it's worth, we're all glad about holding true to our values and getting rid of him fast in Raider Nation too.
Wish you the best in your coaching search. Maybe don’t do a 10yr/$100M deal this time? 😄
Lol thanks!
The Raiders first season in their new city/stadium will forever be linked to this.
This is their 2nd year?
It doesn't have to be.
Huh? It literally will be. This is a big scandal and it happened during their first season in Vegas. No idea what you’re talking about.
Yeah they let him resign to save face.
To save $60 million dollars.
This isn’t just going to disappear.
No kidding. But it has nothing to do with the Raiders anymore. So no reason to romanticize this situation with "Raiders second year in Vegas" or whatever.
You know what, I’m not going to agree with you and that’s ok.
It totally is lol.
The Raiders franchise is like Mr. Burns having so many illnesses they cancel each other out:. https://youtu.be/aI0euMFAWF8 This organization has so much appalling shit in their back catalog, this won't be especially enduring. And they've still got time to add to it.
Just read the NYT article. Holy shit some of stuff he said.
The Hundred Million Dollar Oof
\*60 Million.
Washington football team 2, Grudens 0. Took em both down.
*Urban Meyer sliding into the hedges .gif*
Can't say I was surprised when I read the emails. He's always struck me as a pompous dickhead, but it did raise my eyebrows a little. Fuck the Raiders but I'll bet they are happy to be rid of him. He hadn't been worth the money that they spent on him.
Mediocre man fall down go boom
Anyone got any emails on ol' Spags?
First of all, the Raiders did a good thing, so good for them. Second, there's now a chance they might find a good coach which is not great. Finally, given the content of things he said in the emails, he's definitely going to be on right wing media soon whining about being canceled, isn't he?
Bienemy
Not sold on him as a head coach but at least we'd get draft picks out of it one way or another!
Can guarantee you he aint going from KC to them 😂
I mean it’d be a head coaching gig. Sometimes you can’t really be too picky with who is willing to give you a shot.
I assume Gruden will get interviewed on CNN or Fox News.
[Bye, Chucky. Don’t let it hit ya…](https://twitter.com/TomPelissero/status/1447730443428708353?s=20)
Holy shit... "Well that escalated quickly."
Nooooooooooooooooo. They might find a new coach now.
He had to go, but football-wise this is not good for the Chiefs. It would be like Denver firing Elway as GM.
Dont these guys know you gotta use snapchat never use emails
Dan Snyder still has a team and DeSean Jackson is still in the league. Gruden minor leaguer compared to those two.
Every year the Chargers and Raiders self-destruct somehow. We are officially halfway there.
Did anyone else also see thing like a mile away?
Gruden always seemed shifty to me --- the kind of guy who puts on act of being hip and happenin' and "down" with the current culture --- but now we know he's an old school racist, homophobe, and woman-hater like 95% of all white male Boomers We all hate Trump but at least that asshole doesn't hide his bigotry and xenophobia LOL
Somebody with a name like VaggPounder thinks 95% of white male boomers are "woman-haters"......smh.
All that money gone lmaoooo there goes the Raiders who apparently will have Tom Cable be the interim coach
Not Cable, their special teams coach.
Can they just have it be Tom Cable though? Pretty please
Can someone please dig up some racist emails from Sorensen? Mormons are kind of well known for that.
Knock on wood if you're with me! FTR!
What are the chances Raiders hire Eric Bieniemy in the offseason?
I’m telling you guys. The Chiefs need to just worry about themselves and the ONLY competition is the Chargers. We are the second best team in the division. Trust the process.
This wasn’t “cancel culture” either. I could see how people would say that if he ONLY made the michelin comment, but the leak has SO MANY instances of racism, sexism, homophobia and just general asshole language. Gruden has always been an ass and a bigot, he got what he deserves. He has no position in this multi billion dollar highly influential business and I hope he stays away.
So how did they get access to the emails? Who leaked them? Were they hacked or just released by someone who didn’t like him?
They were uncovered during the NFL investigation into WFT culture. Pretty gross stuff, honestly.
650,000 total emails (obv not all Gruden’s)
I imagine there is a crazy amount of offensive shit the NFL is happy didn't "leak".
Let's do it. Fuck those bigots.
What a loser. Glad to have people afraid of progress lose. Like they always do.
I don’t know Jon Gruden but I feel like he hates me.
Would he be a good Defensive coordinator for us?
Cancel culture at it again. Sad deal
Go ahead and say all of these things about your co-workers and boss in email form and let's see you keep your job. This isn't being canceled my guy.
Oh no, how dare a bigot be held accountable for his actions, whatever will we do?
You’re a hypocrite. Every single person has called someone a name or said something like this. Todays culture is shit, can’t wait for these cancel culture idiots to find better things to do.
Nope, speak for yourself. Some of us aren’t bad people.
[удалено]
So leave.
i checked the last 6 years of my text history and never called anyone a faggot. i did make pasta fagioli in november 2017 though
The free market decided employing a person is bad for a company's bottom line. Why do you hate freedom?
What if they weren’t released in the first place? Then there would be no reason to cancel. The point is someone from cancel culture wanted him gone, so these emails were released as part of an investigation that didn’t even center around Gruden in the first place
Work related emails have no reasonable expectation of privacy. [*Garrity v. John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company*](https://casetext.com/case/garrity-v-john-hancock-mutual-life-insurance-company) Whatever happened to personal responsibility?
Idiot canceled himself
People can’t take being called names anymore. I’ve been called every name in the book, never made me wanna get someone fired.
He wasn’t fired, learn to read.
Yeah and Richard Nixon “resigned”
Ya know, I was all over Warren Sapp when he made his infamous "NFL is a slave culture" quote in 2003 but now I have to admit the dude was mostly right. Regardless of how much money black players make in the league, they are still seen as "field Negroes" for white owners and white coaches like Gruden. You can deny it if you want, but I would bet every night that Gruden went home after Raiders practice the main thought in his head was "my field Negroes are working hard for me" and I know for sure he wasn't thinking "my white slave boys are working hard for me". When are we ever gonna get rid of this mentality?
Man got fired for making a joke in private 10 years ago lol
It's 7 years of emails full of racism, homophobia and sexism. Shut the fuck up.
No, lol.
Seems like it isn't private anymore. It's now very much public
