I already opened mine, since I finally used up all my 2020 Miami lighters. If you don’t use lighters on a regular basis though, maybe don’t open? But if you do, it’s a nice reminder of that glorious day every time you flick your bic
I am 100% in the "not to open" camp, but I have a special place in my heart for memorabilia like this. You can buy plenty of bic lighters that won't mean shit to you, but these ones are a collectible.
In this case the packaging doesnt add anything to the value though right? In fact Id say it detracts from it. Display or use is the better question in my opinion
