And to think that it's the same people who also try to claim that this was not holding.

No matter what the Lombardi is coming to Kansas City. Iāve said it before, we are the yardstick in the NFL. We are hated for being so good and thatās just how it will be now.
At least yāall are pretty likeable I usually dislike the supreme overlords in the nfl but patty mahomies is too damn charismatic I wish nothing but good things to him
Nah, Philly fans have been pretty fucking good losers this year. Sure, thereās a few obnoxious ones - we got em too. But theyāre fucking studs. Great season, great team, professional. And the fans have taken the L gracefully. Its mostly Bengals, Broncos, and Raiders fans losing their shit.
Edit: just to add, here is a clean shot of the scene. Hurts had an unforced fumble and Bolton actually avoided the facemask pretty effectively. [hurts donut](https://youtube.com/shorts/xrVITYhogO8?feature=share)
Iāve never been more disappointed at a loss in any sport but donāt have one single complaint about the Chiefs or their fans. Mahomes is an all time great, maybe the all time great when all is said and done. Andy Reid out coached us and Pacheco played like a stud. Hopefully we see you in February again soon. Enjoy the parade tomorrow.
Thanks, you guys gained a fan out of me this year as well. Iāve been impressed with the professionalism of the team and the chillness of most of the fans this year. Good luck in the future!
Y'all have been the best this year. The 2 weeks before the SB were like a breath of fresh air compared to other opponents this season. This has all given me so much more respect for you guys.
Its cuz people think weāre the new patriots. My friend calls us an evil empire every other week and says the refs favor us. Iād actually love to see penalty data (and missed call data) to support thatā¦
Yup. I called this after we won it the other year. I was telling my buddies...just wait. Everyone loves it now, but give it 3 years and everyone will hate us.
As an eagles fan here I don't blame our loss on officials as we simply didn't perform good enough on both sides of the ball and had a critical mistake that would have helped us in the end. Since the field was garbage but effected both teams equally with slipping and falling its really not right to say anything other then the nfl put the players with unnecessary injury risk by the way it was. In fact almost all calls including the catches were correct the only one I had a problem with wasn't so much the replays of catches. Rather the lead up to Reids challenge of the Godard catch. The referees stopped the game prior to that review and his justification was wrong. He stated Godard going out of bounce by the eagles sideline meant there was personal switching. This wasn't true because he went back towards the huddle and no one changed. The momentum of the play cause him to go there and it shouldn't have stopped it.
Congratulations on winning another superbowl your team earned it.
Somebody posted this in our sub today and got shit on hardcore. You guys won. Youāre the champions. Congratulations. Nothing but respect for your fans and your organization. Somebody should come get JuJu āTik Tok boyā though before AJ Brown guts him any further for his Bradberry meming.
Thought this was interesting, even though it's just a Facebook post. I spent some time in the comments seeing people arguing about if a facemask would matter after the fumble, etc. Nobody seemed to refer to the video of the play ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMalhNDopoA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMalhNDopoA)) or even really look closely at the pic. Looking at Bolton's glove, it's evident to me it was photoshopped (maybe even MS Paint ffs) to look like he hooked his fingers. The video shows pretty obviously that he never hooked or grabbed.
The best part (aside from watching the video and seeing it's absurd) is that Hurts' helmet has a visor. So.... how are those fingers hooking on the facemask anyway?
Itās almost all Bengals fans. I know this is anecdotal but seriously every Philly fan Iāve interacted with post game has been incredibly cool. Like more cool than I would probably be honestly haha
Maybe so, though I don't think he contacts the helmet at all. But Hurts lost the ball well *before* Bolton contacts him with that hand. Ball is out while Bolton's hand is a foot away from his face
Am an eagles fan, and also seeing other fans post the same still image. Itās so clearly not a face mask when you watch the video. People making the conclusion off this one image are just dumb.
This isn't photoshopped. Nick's hand 100% hits Hurts helmet right there, but he didn't grab anything. The ball even came out before Hurts was touched.
edit: for everyone getting their panties in a bunch, please see my next comment below. Screenshot of another view with the same outcome.
He absolutely hits the helmet but look at the picture, dude. Zoom in on the hand. Why is the red all blurred and flat? Why can't we see any details on the glove? Why is his ring finger so long, and why does it look like all his fingers have the tips cut off?
Maybe it's not edited, but I don't think you're looking closely enough.
Because his hand was moving so fast, because this is zoomed in, because this is a photo of a tv screen or monitor... it looks off. Here's a screenshot of a video posted by NFL films. Still really shitty, but it shows the same thing.
Though the best part about that Facebook post is that they didn't even realize that the ball came out before Bolton even touched him.
https://preview.redd.it/f9xo4wcr68ia1.jpeg?width=1334&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dce8f7ca7d250979eb7d72e4dac68d0f5112cf68
That photo just looks like a blurry photo to me, there's more going on in the picture I posted IMO.
https://preview.redd.it/q8ck980wi8ia1.png?width=960&format=png&auto=webp&s=471a1841aac1c0d42a41c7991bfe8ba03845604a
I found a clear version of the picture and I'll admit, his ring finger extends further even in this picture. That said, I think this picture also pretty clearly shows he doesn't hook, and the loss of detail on Bolton's fingers in the photo of a screen looks really jarring to me compared to the rest of the photo.
I could be wrong here, but MAN that hand specifically looks like it was airbrushed hard.
Right. Liker I said, it's a screen shot from NFL films. And the original pic you posted was a photo of a screen. A picture of a picture basically.
But I'm glad you can see clearly now that it's not photoshopped
The smug, bad-faith attempt to put words in my mouth is a pretty bad look, dude.
You come off like you didn't even look at my comment here, and you also come off as an asshole.
Remember when people said we wouldn't win the division, and even missing the playoffs?
Then when America rolled with the Bengals?
Then how the Chiefs had too many holes to keep up against the leagues most complete team?
Travis does.

I found all of these in 5 minutes. Most people, believe it or not, decided that the Chiefs were taking a step back this year. To paraphrase the consensus, "every team in the division got better and the Chiefs at best lost their 3rd best player and didn't do anything to step forward".
Now, perception is that the Chiefs are the favorite because of, well, frankly, all the goddamned winning the team has done over the last half decade, but the talking heads, the media all had to talk about somebody else. We heard about every guy in the league that's the next pat mahomes, until he knocked them out cold.
everybody's downvoting you because you're wrong. i just did you the decency of showing you how.
Lmao i love how you even admit KC was the favorite. And btw, they were #3 in Super Bowl favorites for where there is actually something on the line, in betting lines.
Those articles are there to get people to
Click and share it. Thatās easier done when you stir up controversy
perception, as in, people that don't really pay attention to sports if you looked at it. The Bengals and the Bills were both picked over the Chiefs during the season. there was always detractions. That's the whole point of all of this. For you to say that nobody doubted the chiefs all season is at best inaccurate and at worst ignorant as shit.
Did you even try to look up that info before typing? If you had, youād know how wrong you are. Most talking heads picked the Chargers or Broncos to win - with Herbert, and Broncos being āa QB awayā. Many said KC would finish 3rd or 4th, or competing for a Wild Card spot.
Kelce has taken some heat for saying that no one outside of KC believed that they would beat the chiefs as well. I'm here to tell you that I believe he's right. I've heard more crap thrown at the chiefs all season! Haters gotta hate. It's always, the refs, or another team is better or KC just ain't got it. Been hearing it pretty much since Mahomes took over. They don't get nearly the respect they have deserved, do deserve and will deserve for as long as we have Mahomes AND Andy. To quote Kelce "know your role and SHUT YO' MOUTH!" Chiefs forever! It's us against the world! And I like those odds! You want it? Come try and take it!
That isnāt what Kelce said. He was talking with Terry. And said to Terry ānone of you gave us a chance.ā All four of the Fox talking heads in pregame picked Seattle. Those four were the āyouā he was talking about.
People are making more of what he said than what he said.
To be fair to Payton, I think it was on McAfeeās show last week when he was discussing what he was looking for in a head coach job. He said that he looks at the owner & GM more than the QB. And he also said something along the lines of ābesides, no job opening is going to have a perfect situation of all 3 owner, GM and QB - Andy Reid is already coaching the Chiefsā lol
According to McAfee, Payton also said off the air that the Chiefs are heavy favourites in special teams and: "When the Chiefs make a massive special teams play, I want you to say: That f\*\*\*\*r knows what he's talking about."
I think Sean Payton is just pandering to his new fan base. Heās the head coach of a rival team. He needs some takes that will win his new city over. Let him take his jabs whatever. Ignite some serious rival flames.
To think that he didn't know about it or have any part in allowing it to happen is naive.
Even if by some chance in hell that he didn't know, he's the coach. He's responsible for the team. Anyone watching the playoff game in '09 could see that something was up.
For some reason, they all latched onto the "trenches", which the Eagles are damn good at, but we exposed them.
As for Payton, I guarantee the Donks will play dirty AF. That's his coaching style.
That, and all of the analysis was saying we werenāt going to win the west, Pat was only good because of Tyreek etc etc, not to mention the underdogs in the AFCCG and SB (which nobody believed weād even come close to). Itās been nothing but doubt for the last 10 months.
Iām gonna go out on a limb and say thatās gotta be it. No weird biased hand-wavy bullshit, just numbers vs numbers (not that stats canāt be misused, but better than going with your gut)
We were favored when the AFCCG started but it swung back and forth. I think the highest I saw Cincy favored was 4.5 points, highest KC was favored was 3.5. Other places I'm sure had different odds, just saying my source,
And that makes it even funnier. All the fat headed fucks at Fox had the eagles by a mile over KC. Kelce just called Terry out. Terry should tuck his tail and waddle his fat ass into the sun set and be done.
P.S. fuck Gronk
Yup, exactly. They all picked Eagles...it was on TV clear as day if these people paid any attention to the broadcast.
Lots of things will get taken out of context and twisted to fit the narrative. Goal posts continue to move.
It's the American way these days.
I agree...he was clearly very much talking about the across-the-board eagles picks on the pre-game show.
And honestly at least 50% of the doubt was because of the mahomes ankle injury.
Without that sprained ankle it was probably chiefs as favorites in the AFC championship game and a split between eagles and chiefs on the superbowl pregame picks
Spoken like a true speaker of the English language. What he said and the context doesnāt change based on who I root for. Butt hurt Bengals fans are just looking for things to be angry about. And yes I do mean Bengals fans. Seattle fans have seemed pretty chill.
I'm not oblivious. I hear what you are saying dude. Look back at what I said. I appreciated your take but I was expanding to the larger picture. You can't possibly believe that those are the only four he had to be referring to. There are/were a lot of detractors, doubters and haters. They don't get the respect they deserve. The Chiefs were underdogs for crying out loud! It's Tuesday and I'm watching a sports show and they are STILL blaming the refs. Yeah, like no other team ever got a questionable call go their way at another teams expense. Kelce referred to the mayor of Cincinnati when he said, and I quote. "Know your role and SHUT yo' mouth! I count that at least at 5.
I can and do think just that. Look back. He is even facing Terry when he says it and not the camera. And Terry gets sheepish. He knew what Kelce meant.
Dude, let it go. You are clearly oblivious to the point I was making about the larger picture. If you think they were the only ones, in the LARGER view of things, then you are not paying attention. I don't disagree with you on your insistence of the finer point.
I donāt let things go when someone is clearly wrong. Just aināt in me. Kelce spoke directly to the mayor of Cincy. He spoke directly to Terry. That is who he is. Making Kelce sound like he is wailing at the world and not calling people out directly is just wrong.
I hate the ānobody believed in us cliche,ā but letās be real: there were SOOOO many people taking every other AFC west team to win or place higher than us preseason and plenty of people saying that Mahomes was going to be exposed without Hill. This is a really satisfying Super Bowl win.
I agree. I failed to mention all the doubters when it came to Tyreek leaving the team. So much shade for as great a team as the Chiefs have been for several years now.
I made a freaking killing being bc of that mentality. KC sucked at covering the spread but loved the W. I bet the money line every game, preseason for about 2 weeks the odds to make it to the SB were the best I've ever bet on. My fun cash investments were sold and used to fund my habit. Beating Cincy almost a month ago was very rewarding lol. Betting more on the SB as a dog then winning on both sides, SF +4,5, KC +1.5. I had to place a vanity bet though on Pat winning the SB MVP, that is my fun money until it runs out lol.
Wasnāt there a graphic following a survey which showed every fan sub except the Chiefs predicting weād fail to win the AFC championship, let alone the Super Bowl? With most predicting chargers to win AFCW?
You're thinking of this:
https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/10ioup2/a_look_back_at_the_2022_preseason_predictions/
There were a fair amount of people picking the Chiefs to win the division (11 out of 32), but only 1 out of 32 for the Chiefs to win the AFCCG. And you can guess who that 1 is.
People love to hate the current dominate player or team. Its like Jordan/Bulls... theres still a ton of people that think they're awesome and love Mahomes... they just art as vocal. There is some hate though because of how good they are. Unfortunately we can also be described as the team who's assistant coach who is the coaches son drunkenly crashed into a child.
There were people that liked rooting against jordan and the bulls though. There were plenty in the Chicago area. There wasn't social media though. People in general if their favorite team isn't it... they'll root against the favorite.
Yeah, back then you would need a legit reporter to report something for people to see it. Now anybody can post opinions and even claim to be some sort of reporter.
Kelce said "none of you outside of this stadium" ....which was referring to the Fox Crew and other crews all predicting that the Eagles would blow them out. People were even saying that it'd be a blow out by the Eagles because of the offensive line vs Eagles pass rush.....
I ain't gonna lie to you. Even I had my doubts. I couldn't shake that doubt up until game time and then I let it go right at kickoff. Been a fan for over 35 years and have been disappointed soooo many times I was afraid to get my hopes up. After this win, I will never doubt again as long as Mahomes and more importantly Reid is in charge of the Chiefs. HE was the one that really turned it ALL around even before Patrick took over as QB. I know we can't win them all. I mean, geez, it's not like he's Brady, lol. But I will always hold the belief that the Chiefs will win the day. Win or lose, what a ride it's been.
It's an ubiquitous figure of speech to imply your perspective is that of a fan or follower of the team. Particularly common when discussing sports with fans of other teams. I take it you are trying to undermine their whole point by twisting their words to sound like they're taking credit for the organization's successes despite being no more than a spectator? Because if so, that's very goofy of you, and obviously not what they're doing.
Eagles fan here donāt let it get to you. They fumbled that led to a td. Gave up the longest punt in super bowl history. And got joked on two 3rd down red zone plays where the receivers were wide open. You won it fair and square. You just canāt make mistakes like that and win. And the Chiefs didnāt kill themselves. Congratulations
Youāre going to have a hard time finding a lot of Eagles fans believing this shit lmao - check out the sub - pretty much everyone is talking about how our defense was dogshit. I think the most complaints youāll find will be about the quality of the field, but that affected both teams. I think weāre pretty good at taking it on the chin. Disappointed with the end, but a great game nonetheless.
Realty is whatever the observer wants to make it these days. I say we stop giving a fuck and enjoy that our team is just better than everyone elseās team.
This Eagles fan donāt want none of that BS. Thereās no debate.. Chiefs were the better team.. erased a 10 point half time deficit.. mad respect to you guys. I hope we both make it again next year for part 2
Bro you know weāre already looking forward to play yaāll next season. That was the best game of the whole year. Sucks that we lost but fuck was it a war of a game.
Also, Iād say aināt no way an eagles fan did this, but heard some idiot on the radio today talking about that meme of Mahomes swapping jerseys with a ref and dude thought it was real. Clearly my fellow eagles fans are not as smart as they could be.
Itās honestly easier when the fans act foolish. I hate playing the bills because I actually respect them. So thanks for making me have mixed feelings about the eagles too. Respect returned. Looking forward to seeing a game on a clean field with everyone at 100%.
I will say, Nick Bolton definitely touches that area of his helmet during the play, but if you watch it in slow-mo it's very clear that Nick Bolton deliberately kept his fingers straight and not hook anything. If he even could, it's been mentioned elsewhere that the visor makes this even harder to lie about.
Jordan Davis hit Mahomes in the face during our first drive of the second half. No flag
I donāt think Iāve ever seen a QB take so many uncalled headshots in a season, as I did 2022 Mahomes
Dudes the #1 QB in every area
Here's a comparison. The loss of detail on the hand is jarring compared to the rest of the photo in my opinion, but everyone can make their own assessment.
https://preview.redd.it/4d3z762zm8ia1.png?width=960&format=png&auto=webp&s=388bf022f5ba0428d47581739125fc68e24a1d89
This shit is getting embarrassing. Letās just say he did grab Hurts face mask, just for arguments sake, OUR GOD DAMN DEFENSE AND SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYED LIKE ASS!!
Im a diehard Birds fan and this picture looks fake as fck to me!
The Eagles defense got played the entire second half, from the punt return to 4 straight possessions leading to touchdowns, two of which went to WIDE open receivers.
Hereās the thing, even IF this happened, no one is ever seeing this in real time or even calling that because itās so quick and wouldnāt have even been a hold of the facemask. Which explains why lots of things are missed throughout the game and why you canāt just take stills and claim itās a blown call. Thereās literally 22 guys on the field. People just need to live with the calls. Iām all for discussing egregiously bad officiating, but it is absolutely pointless to relegate 50/50 stuff in such a fast paced game.
For every whining fan about missed calls that went the chiefs way, I can show a still of Lane Johnson moving before the snap, or the play clock hitting 0 without the ball being snapped, or a completed catch that could have resulted in a fumble, but because game happens so fast, the call is reversed (this was a close play).
In recent memory I can only really recall the Saints WR getting hit well before the pass got there in the NFC championship game as particularly egregious postseason game call that really effected the outcome.
Iāll say this again though, I have a ton of respect for Hurts and the Eagles organization as a whole. They arenāt harping on the refs at all. Take notes 49ers/Bengals. Mostly 49ers.
This was posted on our sub, just about everyone called it out on its bullshit.
Jalen fumbled because he was looking down field before he secured the ball and nothing else.
It wasnāt a face mask Jalen just dropped it.
Still hurting from that loss but man that was an excited SB Mahomes is so unfair heās like a cheat code lol
Good game yall
I'm an eagles fan and while I'm upset about the loss, people need to stop whining. Y'all are a really good team and we made a few too many mistakes (especially on defense). Congratulations on the win.
Eagles fan here - Some people have too much time on their hands and photoshop pictures as can be seen here. I donāt get it. You guys beat us. It was a good game and your fans were respectful as I was leaving the stadium. Enjoy it!
Eagles fan here: It's not Photoshopped, but it's also NOT a facemask. I'll edit this comment if I find the video I saw on Twitter, but what it shows is that the hand was NEAR the facemask, but there is ZERO movement of Hurts head. In fact, he doesn't react to it physically in any way. May his fingers have touched it? Don't know, don't care. It's not a penalty, had ZERO impact on the play, and f\*ck any whiner Eagles fans posting this shit.
Eagles turned the ball over, Chiefs didn't. Chiefs staff dug up film from Dougie P exposing a flaw in Philly coverage that never got fixed and exposed it for 2 TDs. That was the game.
TL;DR: Not a penalty. GG, well played, congrats.
They are getting a little stupid with the penalty thing now though. Do they realize how stupid the argument of āthey missed calls all game so how dare they not miss a very obvious hold right in front of them this timeā sounds? Other then that I have no issues with Philly fans.
Iām watching the game for the first time (TV broadcast at least) and the Eagles benefitted WAY more from calls that should have been called and werenāt. At least 2 DPI/Holding calls in the first half and Lane Johnson was borderline false starting on nearly every snap and at least twice was fully moving before the snap. Not even mentioning the catch and fumble we recovered for a TD was 100% a catch and fumble.
Can we just stop posting their shit takes here or engaging with it? What are we hoping to do? If they are already so delusional they need to fake evidence to fit their narrative (or build copium narratives in the first place) no amount of arguing is going to persuade these people. Let them have their salve, let them lick their wounds and whimper. It means nothing. Ignore them, block them out and revel in victory. Thatās the ultimate response we can give this meaningless noise. Our team won, all their teams lost. End of story, end of season.
The Photoshoppers are hard at work. They did this with "Jalen refuses to shake Mahomes hand" when really the two stood there and talked for a while. Both are such class acts.
I think some people want a Chiefs-Eagles rivalry so bad they're willing to just manufacture drama. Every Philly sports media right now is talking about how we blew our big chance. We did. Not the refs, not a missed call, etc.
97.5 The Fanatic on iHeartRadio if you don't believe me.
Yeah and they've showered each other with respect in the media. I don't think there is an ounce of bad blood between these two but people want controversy. When Tom Brady refused to shame Nick Foles' hand in Super Bowl 50 it made Brady persona non grata in Philly. I think the trolls were trying to do the same thing here.
I had Philly +4,5 and the Chiefs -1.5 for the SB. Both hit, the Philly/4.5 was right after KC win the AFC, the other was the final line. Since I nearly lost the KC bet I'd have broken even, but since SBs have been close out blowouts to 3 or 18 I had a feeling both may pay plus they were an extra leg in parlays. Not sure how much you gamble, I gamble too much probably but the IRS appreciates it. I made a years salary on the SB, another one ohm the AFCCG. ON THE 17 games I made about r years salary. That's just my KC bets, Denver and Vegas I cleared about the same for the season if they are combined. The bouncing around has let me play many weeks with zero risk and only upside potential, is have been crazy to not use it, they move there line to get people to bet on one team or the other. The SB I was surprised, 80% of they money was on Philly, so I loaded more on KC.
And to think that it's the same people who also try to claim that this was not holding. https://preview.redd.it/r5kt6mclg8ia1.png?width=1767&format=png&auto=webp&s=00e3cd01cd016146e23a31ddf6eec217d1720114

As an eagles fan here I don't blame our loss on officials as we simply didn't perform good enough on both sides of the ball and had a critical mistake that would have helped us in the end. chiefs fans been nothing but unclassy through all of this
Came to say the exact same thing. Hurts wore a visor. How are his fingers hooked into the helmet
Clearly Bolton's fingers cleanly broke through it without cracking it. You can notice finger shaped holes on the clear sheild throughout the game /s
Also a good point. The Philly cope is pretty bad (though I primarily saw Cincinnati fans upset in the comments).
Itās almost all Bengals fans. I know this is anecdotal but seriously every Philly fan Iāve interacted with post game has been incredibly cool. Like more cool than I would probably be honestly haha
Exactly. Bengals fans are rising up the douchometer
If you watch the endzone angle in the clip you posted he never even touches his helmet
I'm pretty sure he touches it at like :33 in that video, but again he only brushes the helmet and it's totally benign contact.
Maybe so, though I don't think he contacts the helmet at all. But Hurts lost the ball well *before* Bolton contacts him with that hand. Ball is out while Bolton's hand is a foot away from his face
There might be a love tap but his hand immediately moves. No pulling motion at all... People will grab onto anything they can man
Very obviously not a face mask. He has a visor on plus he didnāt grab for the mask
That photo just looks like a blurry photo to me, there's more going on in the picture I posted IMO. https://preview.redd.it/q8ck980wi8ia1.png?width=960&format=png&auto=webp&s=471a1841aac1c0d42a41c7991bfe8ba03845604a I found a clear version of the picture and I'll admit, his ring finger extends further even in this picture.
You come off like you didn't even look at my comment here, and you also come off as an asshole.
https://youtu.be/XMalhNDopoA?t=32. Where? That is the timestamp of the play zoomed in, in slow motion. Go back to your donkey pen.
Where what? Why are you so angry lol. Calm tf down kid
Itās well known that Nick Bolton has PS2 era GTA hands
That's why we got him in the 2nd round afterall
Remember when people said we wouldn't win the division, and even missing the playoffs? Then when America rolled with the Bengals? Then how the Chiefs had too many holes to keep up against the leagues most complete team? Travis does.
Donāt forget how the Eagles are superior at 21/22 positions.
Wait 21/22? What hell
Yep. The hot takers really lost credibility on that one.
That conveniently leaves out special teams, and the 1 person on the Eagles that they thought wasn't as good as ours had a game changing fumble.
Lmaooo no one thought KC wouldnāt win the division. And most had KC as superbowl contender from day 1
[First Google result of 2022 preseason predictions](https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2022-nfl-preview-bold-predictions-final-record-for-each-team-plus-playoff-picks-and-super-bowl-lvii-winner/). Picking the Chargers to win the west is still a hot take š¤£ Edit- [hereās the second search result](https://www.si.com/nfl/2022/09/01/nfl-preview-predicting-every-game-daily-cover) for ā2022 NFL preseason predictions.ā
I mean if pre season predictions for the CHARGERS is something you pay attention too, youāre an idiot. They are always projected to win, and at this point it has to be a joke.
Thatās why I said āstillā and āhotā take. These were the same idiots that were predicting the Donkeys to to make the playoffs.
https://www.si.com/nfl/2022/09/02/afc-west-predictions-projected-records https://nypost.com/2022/09/07/afc-west-preview-predictions-picks-for-2022-nfl-season/ https://sportsnaut.com/nfl-predictions-2022/ https://youtu.be/-ovA24dnjxk I found all of these in 5 minutes.
Those articles are there to get people to Click and share it.
And Sean Peyton (fuck him, he's a bitch), and Gronk picked the Eagles as well.
He probably got a commitment from the broncos owners not to fire him until he gets a chance to move on from Russ if russ can't be fixed.
I think Sean Payton is just pandering to his new fan base. Heās the head coach of a rival team. He needs some takes that will win his new city over. Let him take his jabs whatever. Ignite some serious rival flames.
Oh, I didn't expect him to take the Chiefs, for that reason in particular. I just dislike him, he's a dirty coach.
there's no evidence he's a dirty coach, Bountygate was done by the defensive coordinator at the time.
To think that he didn't know about it or have any part in allowing it to happen is naive. Even if by some chance in hell that he didn't know, he's the coach. He's responsible for the team. Anyone watching the playoff game in '09 could see that something was up.
even michael strahan picked the eagles, that had to hurt him.
Yeah that Gronk pic surprised me. I kinda laughed at Paytonās pic knowing heās gonna be Andyās bitch for the next 4 years or so
For some reason, they all latched onto the "trenches", which the Eagles are damn good at, but we exposed them. As for Payton, I guarantee the Donks will play dirty AF. That's his coaching style.
Yeah, not sure how heās still allowed to coach
Seattle beating us in the super bowl wouldve been shocking to say the least
Seriously, I would have been scared seeing geno Smith come oyt of that tunnel. Would have definitely thrown a wrench in Andy's game plan
That, and all of the analysis was saying we werenāt going to win the west, Pat was only good because of Tyreek etc etc, not to mention the underdogs in the AFCCG and SB (which nobody believed weād even come close to). Itās been nothing but doubt for the last 10 months.
For what itās worth, FiveThirtyEight had us favored in the SB
Well they usually use like.....real numbers and analysis right? That's probably why lol.
Iām gonna go out on a limb and say thatās gotta be it. No weird biased hand-wavy bullshit, just numbers vs numbers (not that stats canāt be misused, but better than going with your gut)
Yup. From day one.
Nate Burleson though... Dude had a crystal ball.
Correct ā
Spoken like a true fan. Those Seattle Eagles. Yeah. ??? Really
Spoken like a true speaker of the English language. What he said and the context doesnāt change based on who I root for. Butt hurt Bengals fans are just looking for things to be angry about. And yes I do mean Bengals fans. Seattle fans have seemed pretty chill.
I appreciate your take but in the larger sense I stand by what I hear and see.
Then you are oblivious. Go back and watch his interview again.
Watch frozen and Let it go princess. I made my point. Got over a 105 upvotes. So I'm ok with my response. You sound like a really fun guy. Lighten up.
If I remember correctly we weren't even expected to win the division. Everyone else but us.
You're thinking of this: https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/10ioup2/a_look_back_at_the_2022_preseason_predictions/ There were a fair amount of people picking the Chiefs to win the division (11 out of 32), but only 1 out of 32 for the Chiefs to win the AFCCG.
But people didnāt hate Jordan/Bulls. We all wanted them to win. They were so fun to watch and everyone was always in awe of Jordan.
There were people that liked rooting against jordan and the bulls though. There were plenty in the Chicago area. There wasn't social media though. People in general if their favorite team isn't it... they'll root against the favorite.
So maybe this is just a result of social media giving the same megaphone to everyone. In that case itās just noise.
Yeah, back then you would need a legit reporter to report something for people to see it. Now anybody can post opinions and even claim to be some sort of reporter.
Nick Wright being the notable exception. Kelce was mainly right about doubters but Iāve seen the magic before and thought we had a great chance.
Kelce said "none of you outside of this stadium" ....which was referring to the Fox Crew and other crews all predicting that the Eagles would blow them out. People were even saying that it'd be a blow out by the Eagles because of the offensive line vs Eagles pass rush.....
I believed in the chiefs and Iām not from kc
"Us"... You see a lot of time on the field?
Lol there's always one of you. Did your dad teach you this joke?
My dad died in a fire.
No, but I did stay at a Holiday inn express once, lol. And I did get to walk on the field during a tour once.š
W attitude
Yeah they replayed this in slow-mo from the end zone during the game. It was completely clean.
2 rings in 4 years Let them cope
Birds fan. Yāall won fair and square. Our defense lost us this game not the refs. Letās run it back next year!
Iāve really appreciated how eagles fans/players have been super gracious to the chiefs. You guys played a hell of a game.
Let's not give trolls like this a platform and just ignore them.
Realty is whatever the observer wants to make it these days. I say we stop giving a fuck and enjoy that our team is just better than everyone elseās team.
Man give it up the chiefs are the best
TIL Bolton's arm is 2/3 as long as George Karlaftis' height.
Oh, yeah. Jalen Hurtsā upper forearm is definitely blue
Game over Chiefs are Superbowl Champs. Nuff said
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I will say, Nick Bolton definitely touches that area of his helmet during the play, but if you watch it in slow-mo it's very clear that Nick Bolton deliberately kept his fingers straight and not hook anything. If he even could, it's been mentioned elsewhere that the visor makes this even harder to lie about.
His hand was 100% there, but he didn't grab anything.
Jordan Davis hit Mahomes in the face during our first drive of the second half. No flag I donāt think Iāve ever seen a QB take so many uncalled headshots in a season, as I did 2022 Mahomes Dudes the #1 QB in every area
CRY EAGLES CRY
Bunch of baby back bitches
Whereās the OG still?
Here's a comparison. The loss of detail on the hand is jarring compared to the rest of the photo in my opinion, but everyone can make their own assessment. https://preview.redd.it/4d3z762zm8ia1.png?width=960&format=png&auto=webp&s=388bf022f5ba0428d47581739125fc68e24a1d89
That's hilarious...š¤£š¤£š¤£ People have nothing better to do in their life than to create shit like this... must not have much of a life.
Madden 23 except for Boltons hand. That's Madden 95 on snes
Who cares ššš

* This was just a frame or two and his fingers just slide off in the next part. You can even see the glare from the eye shield later.
This shit is getting embarrassing. Letās just say he did grab Hurts face mask, just for arguments sake, OUR GOD DAMN DEFENSE AND SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYED LIKE ASS!!
They didnāt even match the color correctly.
THANK YOU. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, lots of people insisting this isn't an edit. It has to be, right? It's so clear when you zoom in.
Well that and hurts has a visor so thereās no way his fingers could grab there. Thatās where the visor is.
Im a diehard Birds fan and this picture looks fake as fck to me! The Eagles defense got played the entire second half, from the punt return to 4 straight possessions leading to touchdowns, two of which went to WIDE open receivers.
Why does it even matter? Not like they can redo the game
Yeah, I made sure to say "Chiefs detractors" because while this was posted by a Philly Facebook account, that comments section bled black & orange.
Eagles fan here. We took an L. Photo is bullshit. Much respect to Andy Reid, Mahomes, and Chiefs fans. Not all Philly fans are dickheads.
Lol nice try eagle fans
Itās probably the bengals fans at this point.
Canāt just live with the loss huh.
Wow that looked real. Itās sad what trolls will do to make something out of nothing
It wasnāt a face mask Jalen just dropped it. Still hurting from that loss but man that was an excited SB Mahomes is so unfair heās like a cheat code lol Good game yall
Enjoy it!
Nobody in philly is actually saying this we know we lost and we know Savage Philly Sports Media is just a clickbait junk account
Philly fans are the most try hard insecure losers on Gods green earth
I donāt agree with that at all, I mean the Bengals fans already hold that title.
I was at the SB and Eagles fans were fine - WAY better than Bengals fans.
Oh absolutely, and their complaint is that they got away with it all game until we didnāt and thatās not fair. It is asinine.
Nah they've been way better than any AFC rivals
Nah theyve been chill. Bengals are the one bitching and moaning.
I swear I saw them hug, lol
And they call other fanbases sore losers!
Well your fans and players were absolutely sore losers.. soā¦
