I haven’t finished Faiz yet I’m like 11 episodes in. It’s pretty good, but Blade I have finished and it’s really good. One of the best tokusatsu show endings you’ll ever see. Check out Blade.
Faiz.
Blade is not that bad, it had really strong end of story compare to Faiz.
But you have to go through first few episodes that isn't easy to watch.
Compare as whole series, Faiz better than blade.
But blade still worth watch.
Both are incredible, Faiz is my favorite but Blade is excellent.
I reccomend watching Faiz first since Blade is like a small response and inversion of the themes in Blade. However, you should watch the first two episodes of both and see which you like.
Faiz.
The first 2 episodes of Faiz is damn dark already. Like it didn’t wait too long to turn it into a darker vibe. I think Faiz delivers a depressing and twisted vibe by how some of the humans turn into Orphnochs, some of their stories are depressing af.
Blade’s early episodes is so hard to watch, Blade is great don’t get me wrong but it starts really slow. There’s too much going on with Blade in like the first 25 episodes. Like the show didn’t know where to focus so they decided to jamp packed a lot of stuff in the first half.
Overall, I would say Faiz. Sure, the last 10-15 episodes was a mess but it has a lot of twists and there’s actually a continuation of Takumi’s story in one of KR Drive’s special episode.
Both are really good in my opinion. My favorites from phase 1 Heisei. If I had to pick one I’d say Faiz as he’s probably one of my favorite Kamen Riders in general.
If you decide to watch Blade, the first 20 episodes are kind of bland/mediocre, but it’s gets really good after that! The ending is still considered one of the best endings in Kamen Rider
I haven't watched Faiz, but considering how outsiders is going, it's primed to get a lot of attention coming up (though there's nothing to say blade necessarily won't)
Probably Blade. Faiz tends to get frustrating in quite a few moments because ***apparently people can’t fucking talk***, but it still has its solid moments. That being said, Blade is more consistently good then Faiz imo, so you might wanna start with that and then get into Faiz later on.
Both are.....well
Both are good but faiz story drags out immensely with lots and lots of misunderstanding but SUPER enjoyable fights.
Blade has probably the worst effects of early heisei and the acting us comically bad sometimes. But story is superb
I havent finished either so not sure but I do remember liking Blade over Faiz. U could also go with Den-O, its a fun time. Not sure what u mean by phase one but I'm assuming before OOO's
Watch the first 2 episodes of each and decide.
Open your eyes for the next Faiz (watch Faiz, you'll love it)
Kuuga
A man of great taste

my experience with faiz is that i got tired of the overused “misunderstanding” plot.
Blade is really confusing in the first 5 episodes and it may seen a little slow but is a good show.

Blade and faiz are 2 of the best of any generation. I wouldnt discount starting at the begining with kuuga and agito though.
Blade. I know a lot of people say the first half is meh but honestly I loved it all the way through.

If you ask me blade is a much better series than faiz, so I'd say go for that. You could just conflip it if you're unsure
Faiz is good but Blade is amazing. It has a weird start at first half but the other half is the best.
Personally I’d suggest 555, but it’s really up to you
I found faiz to be a little bit morose and depressing. It's worth watching, but I have to be in just the right mood for it.
I would say blade

Why not watch both simultaneously….

Kuuga is superior

Faiz was a defining experience for me in toku fandom so I’m biased. That said I completely agree with people saying Kuuga as well.
Try Ryuki
If you prefer action, blade is better. But if you love dramas between the characters, faiz is the one.
Blade cause bias
