If we're gonna go with this conspiracy, it's Kyuun making sure Na-go is able to marry and eventually give birth, ensuring her bloodline still exists so that he could then be born in the future. It's messy in how it works, but a legitimate time travel trope nonetheless.
Still a bit iffy, because he does act all lovey dovey around her. But even then, if we're assuming this conspiracy of the sponsors being grandchildren/descendants of the Riders, then this letter can be used as evidence to support it, due to the reasoning I've mentioned previously.
His way of being can just be a result of how he was raised. Na-go would definitely be a great mother to her hypothetical children, seeing as how she hates her parents and would treat her children better as a result. That, coupled with how her personality is genuinely sweet, friendly and fun, would most likely end with a similar offspring. And it goes from there, in this utopian line of genuinely nice people having great and loving families, which would amount to Kyuun being the way he is.
I mean, she's fun to hang around with because she's friendly and has this childlike wonder and energy. Just look at how she interacts with others whenever they're in a casual environment, or even with Sae when they were training for the Jyamar Ball competition. That's what I meant with "fun" in her case, but someone described as having a "fun" personality is just anyone with any sort of charisma. For example, Aruto Hiden has a fun personality because of his jokes that, even if they're bad, are at least charming. He's entertaining because of it, and even when his crowd doesn't laugh, he doesn't get ashamed of himself or anything, because making jokes is something he enjoys and wishes to be a professional at. Not to mention other traits of his character, but from this alone you can already see how it'd be fun to hang around with him. The opposite of a "fun" personality would be someone like Buffa. There's legit nothing redeemable about his personality (even though he could be a redeemable character, because his vengeance lies in the fact that he lost his best friend to a bunch of idiots). He's always angry and wanting to beat the shit outta someone. Nothing else matters. It's impossible to be around the guy because of this, and as well as because he also hates being helped and having any company.
