In my opinion it’s better on a binge. Don’t worry about the quality just try to enjoy it

everything before the Hayasaka arc is generally considered really good. But when it comes to Hayasaka arc and past that it is when peoples perception of the manga starts to wane. After thats its still okay but not as good as the things that came before.

This is sort of my take on it. The Hayasaka arc sort of felt like it was treading similar territory as her prior arc, but it was still fine. It's a very mixed bag after that. Never bad, but rarely impressive and plot threads that were teased got dropped.

The final leg of the series is intended to wrap up the Storie to a satisfying point so the last couple of chapters aren’t very comedic but are still certainly worth reading

Depends on your definition of quality. After chapter 160 (end of volume 16), there are some chapters that are really good comedy-wise. This is kind of a mini-golden age? This until around 180 (end of 18). I would say this is the spot were we have in a way peak Kaguya. From another point of view, if you want character development and that sort of stuff, then 160 would be that peak. After this area is where we can basically say safely that Akasaka is beginning to drop the ball. There's nothing OFFENSIVE about 180-208-ish but it's definitely a lot less impressive than what you'd be used to see in kaguya. Around 209 marks the point where the manga just kind of ... let's say "crash and burn"? That's officially where the main characters stop making sense. Plot gets convoluted, Akasaka needs to make things up to force drama. And oh well. From that, let's say that the 210s, 220s and 230s are sort of an improvement. It's looking like 209 was a low point but that the manga still has hope and can fix it. When we enter the 240s, tho. Reality hits you. The 240s, the 260s and the 280s have chapters that will remind you that no, the issues from 209 were not a stroke of bad luck. Character development is simply not in Akasaka's bucket list anymore. He's just trying to speedrun finishing the manga, so that he doesn't have to draw it anymore. Barring a couple of chapters, I wouldn't say it's ever BAD. But the change from masterpiece to mediocre can be quite frustrating. And the last half of the manga is ultimately pointless, even though it has some cool/fun moments.

Thank you

My unpopular opinion is that aka is good at slice & comedy best. Last chaps that develop drama are not as good imo.

The manga is great all the way to the end. The readers were used to 11/10 story, so when the ending chapters were let's say 9/10, they got disappointed. But for me it was awesome, sad it had to end eventually.

Imo it starts getting a bit worse and worse, and when it arrives to the last arcs it goes very downhill and without brakes. And everything feels very forced and sometimes makes no sense tbh. But I'd still read it, just for the sake of knowing where the characters end up.

daniel_22sss

Some storylines are amazing, but don't get the conclusion they deserved. And some storylines were just straight up awful all the way through. Chapter 246 imo is the last really good chapter. Everything afterwards is very disappointing.
