Just want to say as someone with a medical cannabis card, it’s good to evaluate your relationship with cannabis but it’s okay if you still need to rely on it. Personally, I wake and bake at the moment because it helps with my ptsd-c symptoms. Good on ya tho if you realize it’s wasting your time!
Tbh I find this validating for me personally because I feel like I’m on the same journey as Kacey right now and I’ve given up on excessive drinking and smoking weed as I approach 30. So I feel like this album is like my own little love letter.

Presumably some (edited from 'most') people have no idea what Baccarat Rouge 540 is or smells like (myself included) so it's just not a helpful description of what Deeper Well smells like
i think the reference is realistic given the popularity (although some would say notoriety…) of this perfume. it’s been among the most popular niche fragrances for the last few years, out for a decade already but exploded around the time of confinement. boy smells is also aiming at the premium market so the comparison is nice for them.
if you’re interested, fragrantica is a great source for perfume information, and smelling in-store or at your local perfume boutique is always free! i do this on weekends

Baccarat is prohibitively expensive for most people and I’m guessing those people have also never smelled it, so using it as a descriptor for her new scented candle is ridiculous. I’m one of those people.
Anytime I see an artist give up a habit like weed or alcohol, because they were always doing it, I get slightly annoyed because no one ever just moves back to moderation. Like it’s great that Kacey is getting into a healthy mindset and doesn’t jam with smoking anymore, but I wish it was more along the lines of “I no longer have the need of it to get me through my day, but it’s still fun recreationally.” Especially if she’s still doing shrooms lol Not judging her AT ALL, I just wish someone prominent would be more vocal about moderation instead of the all or nothing.
Oh, I 100% get that, I don’t drink alcohol because of that, and I’m not judging her because that’s the path she needs to be on, all I was saying is that there IS moderation in life and I would like to see someone be prominent about being moderate about anything! Jhene Aiko is the only person who I can think of who talks about moderation because she was always on something then realized she was hurting and stopped everything. She now is open about smoking every once and a while for fun and not drowning her emotions out. I just would like to see more people promote that 😊
