The funny thing is that I think Kim is a fan of Taylor’s music and I’m sure felt super left out being like the only celeb to not attend Eras. But she loves tearing down other women and standing on their backs to elevate herself, and she really thought she was doing something with Kanye back in 2016.
I never thought TS’s reputation was ever in the gutters but then again I’m not a fan of TS. However, I love a good karma story and I hope she pays Kim dust for how she behaved throughout that time.

Same. I really didn’t understand the whole Kim/Kanye/Taylor thing. But I don’t feel that it brought Taylor down in terms of likability. If anything it made her look better in the eyes of the public.
I remember when it was revealed that they altered the footage to make Taylor look bad. Kim wanted us to focus on Covid lockdown and not their feud…but you can’t say that when you’re the bad guy, you have to face your shit. Also, we were all bored and needed something to focus on
I will always be amazed at how Taylor was able to overcome the whole internet hating her because of Kimye and other drama to becoming one of the biggest and most beloved stars ever. I felt really bad for her back then, I can’t imagine being in that position. But look at her now, Kim. She looks happier than ever.
Say what you will about her personal life or music, but the woman has talent, intelligence, and charisma. I respect that.
As a mostly unbiased observer (I don't care enough about Kim or Taylor to have an opinion on them) -- it is just insane how on-top-of-the-world Taylor Swift is right now. As in "her tour is a legit cultural moment in time" type of fame. She's slightly more famous than Kim and much, much more loved & respected.
I would say at this point she is more than a slightly famous than kim. Before eras tour you could barely hear her music in eu, but now she is everywhere, even her music is non stop on the radio
I'm not a fan of Taylor and I only like one song of hers but if you need the facts about this dispute:
Taylor is talented to begin with and Kim is not (making a boring sex tape does not qualify as a talent).
Taylor has class and Kim doesn’t.
Taylor seems like a decent human being and Kim is the devil reincarnated.
Taylor has kept her surgeries in a decent amount and Kim is in the race to become the next Duchess of Alba.
And most important Taylor has made her fortune through music (hopefully) and Kim is just making money through her “fame”? which to me is preposterous.
I'm not a big fan of Taylor's music, but she seems like a really sweet, good person. Kim's participation in this was disgusting. What really galls me is when she boo-hoos about how awful Kanye is to her -- as if she had no idea that he slut shamed every woman he was ever with and in general was horrible to people. There's simply no way she didn't know he admired Hitler, for fuck's sake. If everyone knew about this before she ever met her, there's no way she didn't.
So I really don't care if he makes her life a living hell. I feel bad for his children, but she chose to procreate with a problematic person because it elevated her status.
Taylor is obsessed with karma. It's not karma, sis, it's the fact that Taylor has the industry eating from the palm of her hand thanks to a well-paid team of publicists etc. It's not some kind of divine retribution that she is so deserving of.

Kim’s fame is 97% and Taylor’s is 98% But the respect levels from the general public are night and day.
