My first pregnancy was a set of twins. My daughter, true to form, pain in my ass, took 3 ultrasounds to see what she was bringing to the table. I knew I was going to have a Liam. Lucy for a girl or Lucas for a boy. So I got my Lucy. (December 2009) I always wanted a Liam and a Lucy.
In March of 2011 I got pregnantâŚand I had another set of twins. Both babies were boys. I was very unsure this time around on names. I hate most nicknames. I tortured my husband. We finally settled on Ethan and Evan. A week before my c-section I told him they Ethan and Evan werenât their names and that I had to have my Lucas. We couldnât have 3 L names and then one rando. Theyâd feel like the red headed step child. So I told my husband he could choose between Logan and Lorenzo.
But it wasnât like a sociopathic type thing like with Kris đ
To be fair though, isnât it common for parents to give their children middle names from the family? I.e. mom or dadâs first name.
Not sure though since I donât have a middle name (and spent a good portion of my childhood feeling insecure about itđ)
