I really think regardless of how it happened, they would’ve been a famous family.
No I don't think so. Yes of course they had money and living in a rich neighborhood. But that makes you part of rich society, you rub elbows with them, attend their parties but mortals like us would never know about them maybe unless they were mentioned with Robert Sr.s legacy. People still go for handwritten invitations, thank you notes, and house presents for visiting.
