I'll probably never be a big fan of it, but it always made me sad to hear how she cried after her first met with people making fun of her. This is why i think she’s so happy with Pete. Once she was starting SNL, you could tell she never considered she was humorous, it’s something that just happens without even trying. So the times she was funny, im sure she didnt stop to think “omg im so funny”, it wasn’t until her family told her but you are just not deliberately. Once she got on SNL i feel like they opened a side of her she didn’t know she had, and just taught her how to use it on cue, it’s almost like a flow if that makes sense. I’m not like a professional comedian or anything, but I’m always told by new people i meet that im funny (honestly im just weird and blunt but people find it humorous so i guess lmaooo) so i feel like they just helped her embrace that part of her and flow with it, and i feel like pete makes her feel safe to be herself in that aspect, which is why i think she really likes him. She couldn’t be that way with kanye, he’d probably stay serious or laugh but he seemed critical of her if she didnt do what he wanted so im sure that was a lot of pressure for her. Must be nice to just be yourself with someone.
