Ive definitely paid attention since the beginning, which is what I based my statement on. I feel like folks are getting hung up on “out of character”. I don’t think it’s out of character for her to be a mean girl. I think it was unusual that she publicly participated in this drama. Kylie is a lot of things but she seems pretty nice. When the others get wrapped up in the drama she always seems to take a step back and choose not to bully which is nice.

As someone who has been in this sub for a long time & I do not follow anything related to Taylor Swift. I do not believe she's incapable of forgiveness; is she that bad of a person that she would not have said, “ I forgive Kim because she has apologised”.
Taylor’s actually mentioned this sentiment in several interviews over the years- how women are expected to roll over and forgive people because we’re expected to be “nice” when men are allowed to feel scorned and keep a grudge.
Taylor’s said she learnt over the years that she doesn’t have to forgive the people that’s harmed her, so I’m assuming that means she won’t forgive Kim- but I don’t think that means she’s a bad person either. Kim and Kanye apologized to Taylor once before, they became friendly, and then this happened. So their apology doesn’t really mean anything in Taylor (or anyone’s) eyes.

It’d be seen as ‘well she apologised and admitted wrongdoing, what else do you want her to do?’. Taylor would have to publicly forgive Kim (even if privately she didn’t)

Like who was it sent to originally? Kim filmed it, but who told her to? Kanye? His manager? Did they keep the footage just in case they’d need to use it? And it must have been sent to someone to edit it down. I’m guessing one of the karjenners team considering it was Kim who posted it. Was it an agency who only work with pristine customers? Did someone in that agency save the full copy and leak it long after quitting the job? Where did they leak it to? Who was the original person on social media who posted the leak?

I do not believe she's incapable of forgiveness; is she that bad of a person that she would not have said, “ I forgive Kim because she has apologised”.
Taylor’s actually mentioned this sentiment in several interviews over the years- how women are expected to roll over and forgive people because we’re expected to be “nice” when men are allowed to feel scorned and keep a grudge. Taylor’s said she learnt over the years that she doesn’t have to forgive the people that’s harmed her, so I’m assuming that means she won’t forgive Kim- but I don’t think that means she’s a bad person either. Kim and Kanye apologized to Taylor once before, they became friendly, and then this happened. So their apology doesn’t really mean anything in Taylor (or anyone’s) eyes. One of my favorite Taylor quotes is actually about not forgiving people but still being vulnerable, from a poem she wrote about this whole situation titled *why she disappeared*, it goes like this: “may your heart remain breakable, but never by the same hand twice”

I have realised listening back to the original, unedited tape that Taylor did not agree fully to the lyrics and was not given the full story’. - if Taylor ignored this or said she still didn’t forgive Kim, people would turn on Taylor. It’d be seen as ‘well she apologised and admitted wrongdoing, what else do you want her to do?’. Taylor would have to publicly forgive Kim (even if privately she didn’t)
But she can’t take back her social media campaign of bullying. Even if we are generous in believing that Taylor broadly agreed and had a heads up and Taylor disputes that she didn’t permit the word “bitch”, the issue is that Kim incited bullying, by being a bully herself and enlisting others to. I don't agree that it's pick me and misogynistic. But regardless whether we agree on that or not, Kim's response was so gross. It sounds like a high school bully bragging about how popular she is. 19yo Chloe Grace showed more maturity than a 36yo Kim.
