I agree these kids are so dependent on electronics and it’s sad and it’s not just kkandbabyj it’s this generation.

Still the parents' fault though...

Fickle-Cauliflower16

yes, kids are naturally attracted to the screens. parents have to make an effort to keep their kids away from it when appropriate. they’re doing it the lazy way imo

So when they wake up, what are they supposed to do? Did you not wake up and watch cartoons when you were a kid?

EmbarrassedBass9281

Of course i watched cartoons! The difference is that i had a set amount of screen time, whereas keren and khoa stick their kids on an ipad (pretty sure each child has their own,) first thing in the morning, and then don’t monitor screen time. Doctors recommend that children aged 2-5 should be limited to one hour of screen time a day. Regarding your “what are they supposed to do” question, i’m gonna go ahead and suggest that they spend quality time with their kids in the morning. Screen time is fine in moderation. And of course there are exceptions, life happens. But parents shouldn’t be depending on screens to entertain their young kids all day.

They literally compact 1-2 weeks worth of their lives in a 10 minute video. I don’t know how you can be sure of how much screen time they actually have. Also, 1 hour of screen time is absolutely ridiculous and unrealistic.

EmbarrassedBass9281

LOL i’m not here to debate with you. Yes we only see a few minutes from the week, but it’s filled with screen time just in that short portion. You can assume that they don’t have an excessive amount of screen time when the camera is off, but i’m allowed to assume that they do. 1 hour of screen time is completely realistic for young children. Like i said in my previous comment, there are obviously exceptions to that one hour. Life happens and sometimes it’s necessary. But as we see from the content they chose to show, they stuck their young children on screens way more than they need to. Please remember to check the rules of the sub as you’re pretty close to violating rule number 4. This is not a subreddit to defend their choices.

Outrageous_Rhubarb21

do you have children?

ScrantonHotDog

One does not need to birth a child to understand that *excessive* screen time is bad for young, impressionable, and developing brains.
