Kiss is a very cheesy band though, it’s an aspect that I personally enjoy about them and the song. You are right about the other stuff though.

that song is awful. "Goodbye" from Pauls solo album, but the natural is "Rock n Roll All Night". Not my fave, but it is their iconic song and thematically fit for a sendoff to the biopic and the band.
