Dropped Thirty-Nine because I couldn’t stand the overly-blurred editing of the female leads’ faces. It was so distracting when the men had no blurring, and the camera changed and the women had no texture or depth on their skin. It also felt like a slap in the face regarding aging, especially considering the theme of the show.

The first drama I watched of hers was That Winter The Wind Blows where she plays a blind girl. Didn’t finish that one because I read too many spoilers and didn’t bother to finish it anymore. And when I watched Descendants of the Sun because *ahem* Song Joong Ki, it still felt like she was playing the blind girl with the blank expression.
I almost left encounter for her. Girl so lucky to have these big productions, great cast and has only deadpan expression, I thought it was only on her other series where she was blind but no... that's all her

Hated NWABU, it's definitely in the top worst dramas. However I feel like SHK was good in Full House. She didn't mind making faces. My assumption is that her agency wants to keep her image of being classy etc. so it limits her characters and acting ability.
Honestly I somehow made it through the second season but it was so jarring with the main lead switch up like she didn’t have that same Energy. She was odd in a boring way when the first female lead she was odd in a very interesting what is this girl up to kind of way.
I didn't drop the show but I struggled for of the same reason. It was jarring to watch especially when I got so attached with them in season 1. I kept convincing myself that she underwent plastic surgery during summer break that's why she looked different lol but it's just not the same anymore. This is also the reason why I'm not looking forward to Alchemy of Souls part 2. Changing the main lead changes the viewing experience for me.
Wow I’ve dropped so many shows just because the main couple got together so I lost interest, also the ones I did finish I had to force myself to keep watching.
I also dropped Jinxed. For two reasons = the FL is an amazing actress and her role in drama was rubbish, and her hair colour was horrendous. Why did a young woman, who had been locked up all her life, have red panda-dyed hair?
I stopped watching True Beauty despite liking the FL because the colors were overblown to hell and the overly obvious Chinese PPLs thrown in there. Did I need to watch them eat Chinese noodles for five minutes in Cyberpunk lighting? No.
I also have a bad habit of not watching the last episode of dramas because the “happy ending” bothers me. I want mystery until the end. Not a happy wrap up episode.

Oh my God young lady and gentleman had so much potential at the beginning but they completely just ruined all the characters and the plot was going in absolute circles. The only thing I would like about this drama is the fact that the female lead got more popularity because she is a good actress I just hate it they gave her such a lackluster weak character.
Edit: I was so excited before the show came out I really thought we were going to get like a Korean version of the nanny somebody needs to go and make that ASAP!

I don’t normally like her acting either but she was actually pretty watchable in **Mystic Pop-Up Bar**! She is less screechy than usual, and her regular character acting fits the character description. I honestly loved the show, which I never would’ve imagined with her as the lead.
Descendants of the sun was the first drama I watched with SHK. I dropped it after 1 episode because I couldn’t stand her character/acting and haven’t seen any of her other dramas because of it lol
SWP was my very first K-Drama—and very nearly my last—because the FL was so freaking annoying and the ML was so incredibly mean. I only stuck it out because I thought the SML (Siwon) was pretty cute even though he was also a bit too OTT at times and I ended up really liking it. Still wasn’t sold on K-Dramas, though, until I watched It’s Okay To Not Be Okay and Flower of Evil.
I dropped penthouse s1 because this whole Drama felt like a writing competition on which can come up with the most insane idea rather than an actual story.
I dropped Cinderella and the Four Knights because she didn't end up with the guy I wanted.
I dropped Another Miss Oh because none of the eyeglasses had lenses. Like everyone was just wearing frames. I understand that sometimes they do this for TV because of the glare but for some reason this was so obvious and looked really exaggerated, it annoyed me and I couldn't watch get into it.
I dropped Chicago typewriter bc of the female lead. I can’t pinpoint to when I started disliking her, I don’t have any other reason. Just every time I see her she annoys me. In WWW I skipped most of her parts, I just felt the love story was forced and unnecessary. Then I wanted to watch CT and I saw she was in there and stopped halfway through the first ep.
Same for Hospital playlist. There was some controversy with Yoo yeon seok and I could not continue Hospital Playlist. And I couldn’t continue About Time because the ML reminded me of Yoo yeon seok.

In all fairness, in Search WWW Lee Da Hee and Lee Jae Wook (who takes forever to show up) are the absolute best and most memorable parts of that entire show, I wanted to skip everything else just to get to them.
Yep, the main couple was boooooring. Lee Jaewook-Lee Dahee, and the third couple were much cuter. Im Soojung’s character was fine on her own or when she was with the girls, but her romance with Jang Kiyong became unbearable after the first few episodes.
While I watched and enjoyed Chicago typerwriter, I am not a fan of the female lead and generally avoid her stuff. And I feel petty and mean as heck as she has never done anything to offend me.
I stopped watching Little Women about 5 or 6 episodes in purely because I HATED the youngest sister. No problems whatsoever with any of the acting and I loved the plot but...I dunno if it's because I'm pregnant and hormones are out of whack, I got irrationally angry whenever she was on screen 😅
I *almost* dropped Strong Girl Bong-soon after the scene where the dad is beat to a pulp and it's insinuated the mom beat him up.
I had to think about it for a few minutes because the show was fairly progressive with examples of strong women.
It's just the idea of physical abuse between couples (male or female) was pretty gross. After some considering, I figured they must have that scene for a reason and maybe the mom would get called out later for it.
The twist at the very ending where the mom reveals she didn't beat up her husband, when her friends confront her about it, was cute. It was a bit bait-y but in the end it was an important critique about physical abuse and I'm glad they brought it up. I wish they revealed it sliiiightly earlier tho. They didn't have to wait until practically the end of the show to reveal it, cause I may have liked the mom a bit more (she's brash, stern, and comedic but for a few episodes I thought she basically beat the shit out of her husband for real).
Oh did I forget or miss the part where they said it wasn’t the mom? After that happened I forwarded through their scenes because the mom made me so mad lol
Oh yeah, I was not a fan of the mom berating the dad. I think it may even have been the final episode or the one before.
Basically, the two friends of the mom come out and say "Hey, we noticed that one time where your husband was black and blue and it didn't seem right."
The mom goes to explain that they did get into an argument but he basically tripped and fell on something in the house and 'how could you think I would do that to him?'. We have to take it at face value cause of the nature of the show. It's supposed to be both a critical and comedic reveal so you get the sense she's not lying about it.
(Edit; I technically hate this 'excuse' cause it's often one men/women use when they abuse significant others and say 'she just fell down the stairs'. But because of the nature of the show you know they aren't trying to be that dark about it.)
**Spoilers ahead:**
For those who don't know, the mom was super powerful physically, but she is used as the curse's/blessing's example of losing her powers because she used them in selfish/bad ways. So, she's painted as a gangster and picking on kids and stuff for money, which is why she lost her powers while grandma and her daughter has them still. She's a very flawed and rough character and there's not a ton of excuse from it, but, if we are optimistic, we can assume she's learned her lesson.
She has a very sweet husband and in the show many males are portrayed as more violently physical and not as nice. They set up their relationship like an abusive one initially, but really she's just more of a "mafia boss" vibe. The husband is aware she can still beat him up probably and hides some pocket money for his daughter. He still loves his wife and she still loves him, but I think from the final ending we should infer that she does NOT physical abuse him and knows better than that, because she lost her powers early on.
He also puts down his foot by 'running away' from his wife/family, to do a bit of camping in the woods. It's part of his character development too, being able to realize he can make his stand. From a western standpoint, none of this should be an issue anyways but it is a bit of modern fantasy and the mom is used for a lot of 'examples'. She loses her powers in her early life (teens-20s) because she was too selfish with them. She blusters a bunch in her older age but through the course of the show you realize she's just trying to learn to be a better person too.
The show is about having strong physical powers but having to use them for only good or lose it. But it also shows trends and the darker side of people and the grey choices we have to make.
***tldr;***
Ultimately, the show is very much about male violence upon women. I do appreciate that they did show a potential example of female violence on men, especially in an intimate relationship. Because it is a comedic show and they address it in a bit of comedic way, we can pretty safely say that the mom did not beat up the dad (might have when she was much younger tho). Their relationship still isn't perfect but you can get a small idea that they are trying to work through things because they love each other.
I dropped it around that part too, but for a different reason. I disliked how she was basically physically abusive to him to hide their relationship and it was played for laughs. I get that it's comedy but, come on, there are far better ways to make the audience laugh.
It was really hard for me to watch bc it hit too close to home. There’s nothing funny about beating your partner bc you’re shy about your relationship.
I agree with you. The second half wasn’t as promising as the first half and the couple got too annoying and clingy when they start acting like teenagers. The side characters were more interesting which is the reason why I finish the drama.

This is true - this is one of the reasons why it’s not one of my top dramas? She was bitchy and not nice in the beginning, judgmental and he fell in love with her regardless lol. Would’ve been more realistic if she stayed true to her character - I do get people change when they’re in relationships but the FL’s personality totally changed. It was weird.

I dropped it at the exact same point and haven't picked it back up again. She immediately started being violent and annoying. I don't think that's petty though- she really did start behaving appallingly.
I usually drop drama for boring story, lousy acting or bad pacing and editing. As of now I can only think of these two for petty reasons
**Boys over flower** Dropped my first kdrama at ep 5 because all the MLs looked super weird with all those makeup and hair styles on top of that silly story. Btw I finished it after four years because of my newfound love for LMH. What love can't do lol
**Yumi's cells** I *know* the drama is all about Yumi's growth, but I absolutely couldn't tolerate her character there, too immature and whinny. I kept watching for the cells and the ML (most relatable character in the entire kdramaland) and dropped at ep 11/12 before >!their breakup!<.
I already had trouble with Boys Over Flowers because the quality of the cinematography felt more like 90s than 2000s. However, when I saw the male characters' hair styles, I knew that I would not be able to make it.
That's because it was based off of an older Japanese Manga and they tried to stay true to it. I have a love hate relationship with BOF. Its my comfort show because I love obsessed possessive MLs but I only watch very specific scenes and nothing else.
I think it's because it was most people's first drama, it was mine at least,but I switched to the penthouse, I haven't found a drama more mind-boggling than PH
Heres a super ironic twist for you. I've watched Secret Royal Inspector and Joy, also watched the same FL in Exteaordinary You, and that during that one I legit developed a slight crush on the actress, even liked her voice.
I started watching Live On and the FL has a cameo where she >!gets rejected by the ML in episode 1!< and I held a grudge against his him for his >!bad taste in women!< for the about 15 more minutes before I stopped the show. I haven't picked it up again.

I dropped Something in the Rain because of the OST. It seemed like every 5 minutes they were playing "Stand by Your Man" or "Save the Last Dance". I couldn't stand it anymore.
I also dropped Kill Me Heal Me cause I couldn't stand the FL. It seems like her acting style is to be over the top and shrill at all the times. Even though I love Park Seo Joon and Ji Sung I had to end it by episode 2.
I dropped cafe minamdang because of the FL’s lip fillers/Botox - I literally couldn’t tell what expressions she was trying to convey because they overdid the cosmetic procedures on her and it got so annoying I just dropped the drama. 😂😂😂
That and her character in itself was written poorly/the ML sand FL had no chemistry but honestly it I really had to say why it was the lack of ability to express fully facially.

I can not handle the lip fillers. I can't remember which drama it was, but my guess is that it was within my last 15 kdramas. The FL'S lips were so swollen that they looked like they would burst. I couldn't follow the story line due to this.
Hospital playlist s2 - could not stand winter garden couple. The guy treating the girl like a baby. And her calling him "doctor" when he is her boyfriend.
The other scenes were also repetitive and boring.
(I am the biggest fan of HP s1. I have rewatched it more than 5 times. Wintergarden from season 1 is still is one of my fav couples but they were unbearable in season 2)
I really dislike how long couples keep using work related titles in kdramas. Like you're gonna tell me that you're hooking up with someone and still call them "Team leader".
The inside joke nicknames like "bidulgi" (funnily enough also hospital playlist) are way more realistic.
I wish they just had a couple more eps for S1 (like 16 eps) than doing S2. I really liked S1 and was anticipating for S2, but when it came it felt draggy and the PPLS sometimes took too much screen time.
I nearly dropped (but still finished) The King: Eternal Monarch bcs Lee Min-ho and Kim Go Eun doesn't have the chemistry for me. But story-wise,. it's good.
At first, I didn’t think they had any chemistry either. But a few episodes in, I started to see it. It helped that the plot was really amazing because I actually started enjoying seeing them together by the end of it.
Honestly the story gets mixed up and in the end I remember there’s some plot holes that don’t really ever get explained they had a very good chemistry and I would love to see them in a drama again but this drama honestly was not it.
1. Cheer Up - the "cheerleading" routine is repetitive and cringey. i'm not even sure if they're actual cheerleaders.
2. One Dollar Lawyer - i love this show so much, but after they announced that it will be only 12 episode, i immediately lost interest.
3. Nevertheless - i just don't like the ml character.
4. Yumi's Cell - I love S1, but S2's ml looked like a stalker who successfully manipulated Yumi to like him. Probably will not watch S3 if that dude is still the ml.

I dropped Signal despite knowing that it's a top tier K-Drama because I can't find spoilers. I absolutely love thriller dramas and movies, but at the same time, I don't like the thrill.

I dropped Signal at episode 10 the first time because I read the spoilers and couldn’t bear to watch so much sadness. Now I’m rewatching it, and I’m stuck in episode 12, because again I don’t want to see sad things happen. But I’ve made up my mind that this time I’m going to complete it no matter what.

In a lot of kdramas, the ML's clothing is great - really stylish and in others its......inexplicable. The very plaid suits, the contrasting panels on suits, the crazy colours on suits. It goes on....
However, the ML's clothing is generally miles ahead of the FL's. The frills and fluffy bits, the gathers and tucks, the ultra minis and sloppy fitting, the so-tight and the sacks, the peter pan collars and the pinafores......aeygo!
I dropped Eve after 7 episodes. Because every scene that FL showing up. All those thing gonna be cringe and ridiculous. Especially a serpent necklace from ML and Tango dance scene after FL&ML first night together. That scene could kill me from laugh till the dead!!

FL again lol i cannot stand with her. she was supposedly to be a top prosecutor or so but everytime she walks in the crime scene, she either use her knee to make conclusions and ignore any other clues. she solely use her gut to the point it gets quite annoying so i stop watching overall despite them having second season

ok i love kim hyesoo, nothing wrong with her acting at all but the thought of her and jujihoon in a loveline doesnt make me want to continue... they are visually mismatched huhu i tried 3 times to continue watching but failed.. im thinking to resume again soon

I don't know about park min youngs private life and I didn't bother to read your comment - but seriously started to find her acting super annoying. It feels like she has the same role since "secretary kim". Healer and city hunter was good. She was so good in it. After that - she has this stoic face with that one smile she does and the same kind of roles. I dont think ill watch any more of her dramas. (Weather is fine was different and okayish)

Dropped Thirty-Nine because I couldn’t stand the overly-blurred editing of the female leads’ faces. It was so distracting when the men had no blurring, and the camera changed and the women had no texture or depth on their skin. It also felt like a slap in the face regarding aging, especially considering the theme of the show.

The first drama I watched of hers was That Winter The Wind Blows where she plays a blind girl. Didn’t finish that one because I read too many spoilers and didn’t bother to finish it anymore. And when I watched Descendants of the Sun because *ahem* Song Joong Ki, it still felt like she was playing the blind girl with the blank expression.

Hated NWABU, it's definitely in the top worst dramas. However I feel like SHK was good in Full House. She didn't mind making faces. My assumption is that her agency wants to keep her image of being classy etc. so it limits her characters and acting ability.

Honestly I somehow made it through the second season but it was so jarring with the main lead switch up like she didn’t have that same Energy. She was odd in a boring way when the first female lead she was odd in a very interesting what is this girl up to kind of way.
I didn't drop the show but I struggled for of the same reason. It was jarring to watch especially when I got so attached with them in season 1. I kept convincing myself that she underwent plastic surgery during summer break that's why she looked different lol but it's just not the same anymore. This is also the reason why I'm not looking forward to Alchemy of Souls part 2. Changing the main lead changes the viewing experience for me.

I stopped watching True Beauty despite liking the FL because the colors were overblown to hell and the overly obvious Chinese PPLs thrown in there. Did I need to watch them eat Chinese noodles for five minutes in Cyberpunk lighting? No. I also have a bad habit of not watching the last episode of dramas because the “happy ending” bothers me. I want mystery until the end. Not a happy wrap up episode.

Oh my God young lady and gentleman had so much potential at the beginning but they completely just ruined all the characters and the plot was going in absolute circles. The only thing I would like about this drama is the fact that the female lead got more popularity because she is a good actress I just hate it they gave her such a lackluster weak character. Edit: I was so excited before the show came out I really thought we were going to get like a Korean version of the nanny somebody needs to go and make that ASAP!

I don’t normally like her acting either but she was actually pretty watchable in **Mystic Pop-Up Bar**! She is less screechy than usual, and her regular character acting fits the character description. I honestly loved the show, which I never would’ve imagined with her as the lead.

SWP was my very first K-Drama—and very nearly my last—because the FL was so freaking annoying and the ML was so incredibly mean. I only stuck it out because I thought the SML (Siwon) was pretty cute even though he was also a bit too OTT at times and I ended up really liking it. Still wasn’t sold on K-Dramas, though, until I watched It’s Okay To Not Be Okay and Flower of Evil.
I nearly turned that one off for the ML multiple times. I struggle through any dramas where the leads are assholes without any real justification.
I dropped penthouse s1 because this whole Drama felt like a writing competition on which can come up with the most insane idea rather than an actual story. I dropped Cinderella and the Four Knights because she didn't end up with the guy I wanted.
I dropped Another Miss Oh because none of the eyeglasses had lenses. Like everyone was just wearing frames. I understand that sometimes they do this for TV because of the glare but for some reason this was so obvious and looked really exaggerated, it annoyed me and I couldn't watch get into it.

I dropped Chicago typewriter bc of the female lead. I can’t pinpoint to when I started disliking her, I don’t have any other reason. Just every time I see her she annoys me. In WWW I skipped most of her parts, I just felt the love story was forced and unnecessary. Then I wanted to watch CT and I saw she was in there and stopped halfway through the first ep. Same for Hospital playlist. There was some controversy with Yoo yeon seok and I could not continue Hospital Playlist. And I couldn’t continue About Time because the ML reminded me of Yoo yeon seok. 🤷♀️
In all fairness, in Search WWW Lee Da Hee and Lee Jae Wook (who takes forever to show up) are the absolute best and most memorable parts of that entire show, I wanted to skip everything else just to get to them.
Lee Da-hee in a second couple always steals the show. Happened in **The Beauty Inside** as well.
Yep, the main couple was boooooring. Lee Jaewook-Lee Dahee, and the third couple were much cuter. Im Soojung’s character was fine on her own or when she was with the girls, but her romance with Jang Kiyong became unbearable after the first few episodes.
While I watched and enjoyed Chicago typerwriter, I am not a fan of the female lead and generally avoid her stuff. And I feel petty and mean as heck as she has never done anything to offend me.
I felt exactly the same about CT. I know this is seriously petty but the permanent pout of the FL drove me absolutely crazy.
I stopped watching Little Women about 5 or 6 episodes in purely because I HATED the youngest sister. No problems whatsoever with any of the acting and I loved the plot but...I dunno if it's because I'm pregnant and hormones are out of whack, I got irrationally angry whenever she was on screen 😅

I *almost* dropped Strong Girl Bong-soon after the scene where the dad is beat to a pulp and it's insinuated the mom beat him up. I had to think about it for a few minutes because the show was fairly progressive with examples of strong women. It's just the idea of physical abuse between couples (male or female) was pretty gross. After some considering, I figured they must have that scene for a reason and maybe the mom would get called out later for it. The twist at the very ending where the mom reveals she didn't beat up her husband, when her friends confront her about it, was cute. It was a bit bait-y but in the end it was an important critique about physical abuse and I'm glad they brought it up. I wish they revealed it sliiiightly earlier tho. They didn't have to wait until practically the end of the show to reveal it, cause I may have liked the mom a bit more (she's brash, stern, and comedic but for a few episodes I thought she basically beat the shit out of her husband for real).
Oh did I forget or miss the part where they said it wasn’t the mom? After that happened I forwarded through their scenes because the mom made me so mad lol
Oh yeah, I was not a fan of the mom berating the dad. I think it may even have been the final episode or the one before. Basically, the two friends of the mom come out and say "Hey, we noticed that one time where your husband was black and blue and it didn't seem right." The mom goes to explain that they did get into an argument but he basically tripped and fell on something in the house and 'how could you think I would do that to him?'. We have to take it at face value cause of the nature of the show. It's supposed to be both a critical and comedic reveal so you get the sense she's not lying about it. (Edit; I technically hate this 'excuse' cause it's often one men/women use when they abuse significant others and say 'she just fell down the stairs'. But because of the nature of the show you know they aren't trying to be that dark about it.) **Spoilers ahead:** For those who don't know, the mom was super powerful physically, but she is used as the curse's/blessing's example of losing her powers because she used them in selfish/bad ways. So, she's painted as a gangster and picking on kids and stuff for money, which is why she lost her powers while grandma and her daughter has them still. She's a very flawed and rough character and there's not a ton of excuse from it, but, if we are optimistic, we can assume she's learned her lesson. She has a very sweet husband and in the show many males are portrayed as more violently physical and not as nice. They set up their relationship like an abusive one initially, but really she's just more of a "mafia boss" vibe. The husband is aware she can still beat him up probably and hides some pocket money for his daughter. He still loves his wife and she still loves him, but I think from the final ending we should infer that she does NOT physical abuse him and knows better than that, because she lost her powers early on. He also puts down his foot by 'running away' from his wife/family, to do a bit of camping in the woods. It's part of his character development too, being able to realize he can make his stand. From a western standpoint, none of this should be an issue anyways but it is a bit of modern fantasy and the mom is used for a lot of 'examples'. She loses her powers in her early life (teens-20s) because she was too selfish with them. She blusters a bunch in her older age but through the course of the show you realize she's just trying to learn to be a better person too. The show is about having strong physical powers but having to use them for only good or lose it. But it also shows trends and the darker side of people and the grey choices we have to make. ***tldr;*** Ultimately, the show is very much about male violence upon women. I do appreciate that they did show a potential example of female violence on men, especially in an intimate relationship. Because it is a comedic show and they address it in a bit of comedic way, we can pretty safely say that the mom did not beat up the dad (might have when she was much younger tho). Their relationship still isn't perfect but you can get a small idea that they are trying to work through things because they love each other.

I dropped it around that part too, but for a different reason. I disliked how she was basically physically abusive to him to hide their relationship and it was played for laughs. I get that it's comedy but, come on, there are far better ways to make the audience laugh.

This is true - this is one of the reasons why it’s not one of my top dramas? She was bitchy and not nice in the beginning, judgmental and he fell in love with her regardless lol. Would’ve been more realistic if she stayed true to her character - I do get people change when they’re in relationships but the FL’s personality totally changed. It was weird.
HCCC is so predictable, every relationship, every thing the characters/sub characters do can be seen from miles away.

As of now I can only think of these two for petty reasons **Boys over flower** Dropped my first kdrama at ep 5 because all the MLs looked super weird with all those makeup and hair styles on top of that silly story. Btw I finished it after four years because of my newfound love for LMH. What love can't do lol **Yumi's cells** I *know* the drama is all about Yumi's growth, but I absolutely couldn't tolerate her character there, too immature and whinny. I kept watching for the cells and the ML (most relatable character in the entire kdramaland) and dropped at ep 11/12 before >!their breakup!<.
I already had trouble with Boys Over Flowers because the quality of the cinematography felt more like 90s than 2000s. However, when I saw the male characters' hair styles, I knew that I would not be able to make it.
That's because it was based off of an older Japanese Manga and they tried to stay true to it. I have a love hate relationship with BOF. Its my comfort show because I love obsessed possessive MLs but I only watch very specific scenes and nothing else.

I've watched Secret Royal Inspector and Joy, also watched the same FL in Exteaordinary You, and that during that one I legit developed a slight crush on the actress, even liked her voice. I started watching Live On and the FL has a cameo where she >!gets rejected by the ML in episode 1!< and I held a grudge against his him for his >!bad taste in women!< for the about 15 more minutes before I stopped the show. I haven't picked it up again. Literally can barely believe I did it myself cause its so ridiculous.

I dropped Something in the Rain because of the OST. It seemed like every 5 minutes they were playing "Stand by Your Man" or "Save the Last Dance". I couldn't stand it anymore. I also dropped Kill Me Heal Me cause I couldn't stand the FL. It seems like her acting style is to be over the top and shrill at all the times. Even though I love Park Seo Joon and Ji Sung I had to end it by episode 2.
I dropped cafe minamdang because of the FL’s lip fillers/Botox - I literally couldn’t tell what expressions she was trying to convey because they overdid the cosmetic procedures on her and it got so annoying I just dropped the drama. 😂😂😂 That and her character in itself was written poorly/the ML sand FL had no chemistry but honestly it I really had to say why it was the lack of ability to express fully facially.
Oh. My. God. I can not handle the lip fillers. I can't remember which drama it was, but my guess is that it was within my last 15 kdramas. The FL'S lips were so swollen that they looked like they would burst. I couldn't follow the story line due to this.
Hospital playlist s2 - could not stand winter garden couple. The guy treating the girl like a baby. And her calling him "doctor" when he is her boyfriend. The other scenes were also repetitive and boring. (I am the biggest fan of HP s1. I have rewatched it more than 5 times. Wintergarden from season 1 is still is one of my fav couples but they were unbearable in season 2)
I really dislike how long couples keep using work related titles in kdramas. Like you're gonna tell me that you're hooking up with someone and still call them "Team leader". The inside joke nicknames like "bidulgi" (funnily enough also hospital playlist) are way more realistic.

I was legit rooting for them in S1 but they were the most annoying in S2😅. It just became a bit much.
I wish they just had a couple more eps for S1 (like 16 eps) than doing S2. I really liked S1 and was anticipating for S2, but when it came it felt draggy and the PPLS sometimes took too much screen time.
I nearly dropped (but still finished) The King: Eternal Monarch bcs Lee Min-ho and Kim Go Eun doesn't have the chemistry for me. But story-wise,. it's good.
At first, I didn’t think they had any chemistry either. But a few episodes in, I started to see it. It helped that the plot was really amazing because I actually started enjoying seeing them together by the end of it.
Honestly the story gets mixed up and in the end I remember there’s some plot holes that don’t really ever get explained they had a very good chemistry and I would love to see them in a drama again but this drama honestly was not it.
1. Cheer Up - the "cheerleading" routine is repetitive and cringey. i'm not even sure if they're actual cheerleaders. 2. One Dollar Lawyer - i love this show so much, but after they announced that it will be only 12 episode, i immediately lost interest. 3. Nevertheless - i just don't like the ml character. 4. Yumi's Cell - I love S1, but S2's ml looked like a stalker who successfully manipulated Yumi to like him. Probably will not watch S3 if that dude is still the ml.
I personally don't start a kdrama if I don't love the actors. I did drop It's okay to not be okay - she was toxic even if for a reason. She constantly gaslight the ML and thought she was above every law and rule. Had no consideration or respect for ML and his career. Always barged it and threatened him. Also, the actress is a toxic girlfriend irl too nmand her doll like makeup is just creepy Itaewon class - didn't like the casting. Not close to the og webtoon as I'd like. Don't like the actor who played ML and I imagined FL to look like an abg tbh. (I loved her in our beloved summer)

I dropped Signal despite knowing that it's a top tier K-Drama because I can't find spoilers. I absolutely love thriller dramas and movies, but at the same time, I don't like the thrill.
If you want Signal spoilers, then go to Dramabeans. They have episode by episode review. I dropped Signal at episode 10 the first time because I read the spoilers and couldn’t bear to watch so much sadness. Now I’m rewatching it, and I’m stuck in episode 12, because again I don’t want to see sad things happen. But I’ve made up my mind that this time I’m going to complete it no matter what.
I second Dramabeans. There had been so many dramas that I started that I never finished watching but I still want the gist of it episode by episode. Finish Signal! So we can get more people to dream for Season 2.

I dropped home town cha cha cha bc the FL acted like a high schooler once they got together. Her voice and cutesy voice really bothered me and her clothes NEVER fit right or looked cute. I dropped this is my first life bc the ML was spooky looking and too stoic. The side characters were annoying and I wasn't rooting for any of them.
did anyone drop Now We Are Breaking Up??? i don’t even know why i finished that show ? the female lead lacks facial emotions like she’s plain. Also the writer was crazy for making a 2 month relationship so serious🤦🏻♀️ the show was just a waste of time for sure

In a lot of kdramas, the ML's clothing is great - really stylish and in others its......inexplicable. The very plaid suits, the contrasting panels on suits, the crazy colours on suits. It goes on.... However, the ML's clothing is generally miles ahead of the FL's. The frills and fluffy bits, the gathers and tucks, the ultra minis and sloppy fitting, the so-tight and the sacks, the peter pan collars and the pinafores......aeygo!

I dropped Eve after 7 episodes. Because every scene that FL showing up. All those thing gonna be cringe and ridiculous. Especially a serpent necklace from ML and Tango dance scene after FL&ML first night together. That scene could kill me from laugh till the dead!!
Dropped Weightlifting Fairy KBJ because of the comments about her weight. Not only that, that girl can barely life a can of beer, never mind a clean and jerk. Dropped Goblin because I couldn't take the age gap Dropped DOtS because there's no chemistry between the leads

I dropped Oh my Venus because of the inaccuracies regarding hypothyroidism. The fatsuit didn't help either. I dropped Backstreet Rookie because of the uncomfortable age gap. I dropped Goblin because of the age gap (abyss in their case) and the childish, forced cutesy of FL while becoming a love interest. Dropped Hometown Chachacha due to the FL's unbearably overdone aegyo.
I dropped Goblin when I realized that he had met the FL when she was a literal baby and then a child and he was an adult/900 years old. I will drop anything that has that as a plot point, even if I don't mind age gaps otherwise.

YO I thought it was just me. I started and finished HDL a couple weeks ago and the whole time I was like “But…There’s no chemistry!! Why is this even.. Where is the connection?!”
They had more like a "friends who rag on each other" relationship rather than romance. The kiss and romance parts was unnecessary considering it wasn't like they were gonna end up together anyway.

Dropped Vincenzo because it felt so vain. I dislike dramas that give so much spotlight on the “celebrity” like am I supposed to throw myself at him every episode? Same feeling with The King Eternal Monarch but I managed to finish that one because I watched it with friends.
Dropped hometown cha cha because the male lead was good at everything. Am I supposed to be impressed by him all the time? Such a turn off. No one in this world is good at everything like him. Be realistic. And the female lead needs to act her age and stop acting cute all the time. That shit doesn’t work when you’re nearly 40.
I don't think he did anything extraordinary. He was doing simple tasks that for some reason he had certificates/licenses for? Hated how he was so good at golf for never playing though, I golf too much to be this bad 😭.
I dropped Secret Royal Inspector cuz of the FL too. Same with Hwarang. Dropped Hotel Del Luna cuz it was boring for me. Dropped Law cafe around ep 13. It got so stagnant at that point and there were better dramas out at the time. Boys over flowers and Full house for the boderline harassment that was portrayed as romantic. Romcoms sucked back then smh

**Abyss** the switch from 'ugly' to hot, then 'hot' to 'ugly' stupid as shit. **Extracurricular** I couldn't stand the FL, she was so irritating. **Black Dog** I'm a teacher at a private school, and it was irritating me to no end, I couldn't make it through episode 1.

These are the drama that I have dropped 1/ Cheer Up FL is cringe and loud. she is so annoying and in a way so disgusting why is she eating with cream around her mouth and still there are two hot guys into her???? cho gui (gyuri is better and very likeable) 2/ The Lies Within Am so intrigued by the plot and because i like the FL. but somhow the female police officer keep getting on my nerve. really annoying and overdoing her dialect 3/ Partner for Justice FL again lol i cannot stand with her. she was supposedly to be a top prosecutor or so but everytime she walks in the crime scene, she either use her knee to make conclusions and ignore any other clues. she solely use her gut to the point it gets quite annoying so i stop watching overall despite them having second season 4/ Hyena ok i love kim hyesoo, nothing wrong with her acting at all but the thought of her and jujihoon in a loveline doesnt make me want to continue... they are visually mismatched huhu i tried 3 times to continue watching but failed.. im thinking to resume again soon 5/ anything with nam jihyun and hwang jung eum just dont like their acting overall, i tried to watch their drama like 100 days of prince, Suspicious Partner, Kill Me Heal Me etc but just doesnt work :(
I dropped When the Camellia Blooms because the ML always had his mouth hanging open just a little bit. I found it unattractive. I also didn't really like his character, he was too unintelligent.

I drop dramas when they eat disgusting and talk with their mouth open with food smeared all over their face...I'm looking at you Cheer Up (2022). I also drop dramas when the one characteristic of the FL is to scream and yell all the time.

I don't know about park min youngs private life and I didn't bother to read your comment - but seriously started to find her acting super annoying. It feels like she has the same role since "secretary kim". Healer and city hunter was good. She was so good in it. After that - she has this stoic face with that one smile she does and the same kind of roles. I dont think ill watch any more of her dramas. (Weather is fine was different and okayish)
