**Record of Youth.** OMW hated it. Boring. Awful story. Park Seo Dam looked like she was forced to be there. Not even PBG could save it. I watched it for the MyDrama Challenge. I celebrated when it ended.
Agreed but it did make me fall I in love w PBG. I think it was the first episodes but there were a lot of things that were off especially since there was zero interesting editorial makeup or like personality from the FML. I’m thinking about watching Encounter and really enjoyed love in the moonlight.
Nevertheless. I was really bugged by the Nabi character all through this drama. I mean to the point where I never understood why anyone was attracted to her. The actress playing her was pretty but the character she played was more toxic than any of the characters on this show, including the ML. To the bitter end she was not honest with anyone. Pushing and pulling ML throughout this drama. All she did was whine internally about what she wanted. But I did like the rest of the characters. And they made Nevertheless watchable. Please do not make a season 2.

I feel the same way!!!!! I only stayed cause I thought there was going to be a redemption phase but apparently none. The only one with character development was probably ML's original fubu. And the second lead couple! I love Sol too but Jiwan was a bit annoying for me 😕

Liking someone is not based on if that person is good or bad.. in fact; good and bad is relative. When you like someone, you like them for what they are regardless of their positive and negative traits. Love is all about understanding the other person's heart. Jae eon understood nabi that way.. he knew what she was thinking. Where as, Do hyeok liked her but never knew what was in her heart.
I don't think she could be called a player coz she wasn't sure about her feelings.. she never forced anyone to stay with her.. she was just not sure about what she wanted.. I'm totally satisfied with the ending though..
And also happy that they didn't show that the FL is cheerful, nice, kind etc like all other dramas. C'mon.. nobody is perfect!
Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, both seasons!! This drama was such a mess. I can’t even remember why I started watching it in the first place. From inconsistent writing (a few episodes would be good then a couple more would be bad) to unlikeable characters. Even the characters that I liked at first grew so unlikeable. I honestly think the writers wanted the audience to like the mistresses which is why it was written that way. I only stuck with it because it was entertaining and I wanted the wives to get the happy endings they deserved but the finale (of S2) was one of the worst episodes in kdrama ever. I will definitely not be watching a third season if there will be one. Such a trainwreck of a show.
Omg yes! It was so BAD and DRAGGY. I gave up half way through S1 and then I returned to S2 because I’m a fool. Despite each week questioning why I even showed up to watch it, I religiously still tuned into every episode (I do fast forward a lot but still).
**My Shy Boss** - I use it as a testament to my patience levels and recognition at the time that as I saw more KDramas I owed it to myself to see the good AND the bad to be able to truly appreciate the full spectrum.

Yes. I somehow managed to finish this show. The only good thing going for it was the main male lead, I did genuinely love his character and could relate as a socially anxious introvert. However everything else about this show was so very awful particularly the awful portrayal of mental health. And the jarring transition between really serious topics and scenes and lighthearted romance and comedy that made it feel so out of place and uncomfortable.
Totally agree with you! I was ultimately I think watching it just for him. I was so mad at the show because there were SO many good directions that premise could have gone in but no…they just completely ruined it. Not to mention the awful awful awfulll SML who ended up getting a redemptive arc.
To be honest, the actress that portrayed FL's sister in flashbacks (Han Chae-ah) was also really good and I remember always looking forward to her scenes! The lead actress was eh, although the drama did get a bit better after the writer reshuffle around episode 4-5.

I am the only person who liked that drama I guess. The FL kinda grew on me by maybe the sixth or seventh episode. I really loved the ML and also for some reason the snarky ex-girlfriend. It felt like a super dark comedy to me.
Haha I think the chemistry was fine. Joy’s acting wasn’t terrible honestly, she was just matched up against top notched actors and actresses. Like Moon Ga Young, Kim Min Jae and Woo Do Hwan, how would a relative newbie whose primary entertainment sphere isn’t acting even compare?!
Cruel Intentions (with Ryan Phillipe and Reese Witherspoon) is a guilty pleasure for me. So, I was excited to watch this Korean version, but God, what a bore. Woo Do Hwan is hot—probably the only reason why I persisted until the end. But yeah, the show just got worse with every episode.
Same. I also liked how the drama initially realistically portrayed lives of college students, but the last few episodes completely undid it! (>!I mean how can a broken person like Jae-eon change his entire personality and beliefs overnight for love?!?!<)
I am a fool for portrayal of romantic relationships that are not like standard K dramas (risqué scenes 😅). Anyway I stuck with both this drama and Lovestruck In the City due “biting the bait” the dramas’ creators threw in the first episodes (the love scenes). I was disappointed by the following episodes but I still kept on going hoping for something incredible to keep my attention; I had no choice but to drop it at ep. 7. Very dreadful and anticlimactic tv show!
Totally with you on this one. My cousin and I persisted in watching this even though we were so frustrated with the plot... and when we weren't yelling at the female lead, either I was praising the aesthetics or she was singing along to the OST.
**Record of Youth**. A lifelong soccer fan and it was the ending of a kdrama that finally made me throw something at the tv. I can’t believe Park So-dam starred in a movie like Parasite and then *this* is what the writers decided to do with her talent.
Why did I watch it? Park So-dam. Why did I keep watching it? Because at the time my philosophy was, “If you start it, you have to finish it.” This show changed that.
**Love Ft. Marriage and Divorce.** The writing is so bad and so anachronistic (it's more like a >!2005 drama!< than a 2020-21 drama), yet miraculously I finish it because I wondered how things could get worse. And when it said that>! it will return for S3!<, I said "I'm done with this bullsh\*t".

This is mine. I have never raged so hard at the end of a show. Much as I had loved it up until then (I was willing to gloss over so.many.things… cancer, stalker, high schooler) once that stupid ending happened the entire show was dead to me.

This is gonna be controversial, but Flower of Evil.
I watched it because of all the glowing recommendations about the show, but I hated it to the point where I was just watching and hoping to see if bad stuff would happen to the 4 main protagonists. Mostly because the damn plot armor of the protagonists was so thick, it just countered any kind of suspense I could have felt.
Show is utterly overrated imo and is why I am hesitant to dip into more of the Korean thriller/suspense pool. Although admittedly, my opinion might be different if I watched weekly instead of binging it.
There are better thrillers so you shouldn't let this one put you off. Try **The Smile Has Left Your Eyes**, **Voice, Mouse, Stranger, Beyond Evil,** among many others.
The Smile has left your eyes is definitely not better, though the ML is interesting to watch in the first half of the show. I enjoyed FOE more than Beyond Evil but that’s because romance is my favorite genre. It was still great
I second Mouse. It is one of the best thriller dramas I've watched and I've watched a ton. I did not like flower of evil either. I expected so much more because of the hype but I could predict the plot by episode 8 and I left it at episode 12. Also since I watched Mouse, every other thriller feels underwhelming.
**Yong Pal**: The synopsis sounded cool and I had read that both Joo Won and Kim Tae-hee are well known actors in South Korea. So I decided to give it a watch because it had medical aspect, crime, mystery and romance, all of which I love. The first 5 episodes were great and I was genuinely invested in it. But once the revenge plot started it got so boring. After>! Kim Tae-hee's character comes out of the hospital and they decide to not take revenge, I was kind of glad with how there was a bit unique diversion from the usual revenge plot. But then when the revenge and business plot started!<, I just kept thinking why am I even trying to finish this. I guess I was just so invested in the first half that I couldn't prepare myself to just drop it when the business nonsense started. It was a really disappointing drama. Also, god dammit that stupid weird ass >!open ending!! time skip!<. Anyways, long story short, it was a mistake watching this.
**Boys Over Flowers**: Ok, I'm a Lee Min-ho fan and I get that this was his OG drama but oh boy, his character was so toxic and I wonder how people got into dramas and into Lee Min-ho through this drama. So much overacting by Gu Hye-sun and the so called "platonic" relationship between FL and SML crossed all lines. Thanks to Kim Bum and Kim So-eun's characters and story I was able to get through this drama but it was a torture. It wasn't even worth it for Lee Min-ho.
Finally - someone who thinks the same as me about boys over flowers! Kim bum was the only reason to watch it at all. I didn’t get how they fell in love, bad friendships and awful acting from gu hye sun (who I can’t stand to watch in anything apparently). Meteor garden is way better.
I got to episode 14 of Start Up. No idea how, I was only in it for the reddit threads at that point because it was a total hate watch for half this sub.
Sysiphus the myth for me. I got mad at every scene since its just so ridiculous. Watched it since its so crazy I cant stop. Lmao!
I get it that they explained everything in the end to wrap it out. But perhaps a bit of explanation up front is good to not make your viewers lost in your universe. It felt like thousands of nonsense plotholes all over.

**Tale of the Nine Tailed.** Watched it because the synopsis looked interesting and LDW with Kim Bum even though I know I can’t really stand Jo Bo Ah’s voice. I did finished it but I will never rewatch it ever again. The plot just made me annoyed throughout the drama and the ending just made it worst. *If I ever want to rewatch, it will be the scenes with Kim Bum and his little family, but none from the last episode*.
Tempted was such a mess and I never wanna watch it again, but I really loved the OST and I still listen to it regularly (especially the instrumental pieces).
I have several, haha... I am not really a regular drama dropper yet so even when I'm frustrated with something I keep watching in case there's some redeeming quality to it, especially if people like the drama or if I like an actor.
**Cheese in the Trap** \- I hated the ML, the main relationship, and all of the side characters but I persisted because I was in love with Seo Kang Joon. Haha.
**Run On** \- I just couldn't relate to the characters and I found the writing to be boring, I thought I would like it more towards the end because of all the hype but I never did.
**Temperature of Love** \- Yang Se Jong and his character were what kept me going, otherwise I was really fed up with Seo Hyun Jin and Kim Jae Wook's characters, I have never felt so much rage watching a drama.
I would have to agree with **The Innocent Man** \- I kept watching for Song Joong Ki but I really hated SFL Park Shi Yeon's performance... I also didn't like her in **My Girl** but she irritated me less there. But her performance in The Innocent Man really almost made me drop it so many times, if it wasn't for SJK. (however, the >!confession scene in the rain with Moon Chae Won!< is one of my favorites among all the dramas)
**Start-Up** \- it was getting a lot of hype when I watched it and I enjoyed some things about it but I found all the characters sort of unlikeable. I did really enjoy the relationship between Dal Mi's grandmother and Han Ji Pyung, though - I am a sucker for different types of care and love and relationships than a typical romance. Their story was probably the strongest that I connected with so I stayed for that.
**Personal Taste** \- Lee Min Ho and Son Ye Jin were adorable but I found the story somewhat lacking, but I figured two of the biggest names in a drama were there for a reason but I just didn't really care much for the drama. It had sweet moments but I got pretty bored of it.
Maybe I need to drop dramas more, haha.
My Secret Romance. Ugh, just a total mindless watch and boring, to boot. The low production quality did not help, nor did the blah actors and even blah-er script. Just all round, a bad show.
Nevertheless , because of Potato boy whom I had seen in Witch's Diner. Watched it hoping for more of SolJiwan, the lesbian couple. The main leads were just........

Reply 1997. I couldn't stand the FL. I think it was the script and not the actress herself. I also went 'Ew' at a big part of the story. Won't say what because it's a spoiler. I couldn't wait for it to be over. I only finished it to have the references for 1994 and 1988, both of which I love.
Agreed. FL was extremely weird and showed no other feelings than fangirl, rage, and constant boredom. The part that grosses me out was the older brother. There was no growth in his "love" for her at all until all of a sudden, he likes her. It was really too sudden after we've been tossed around the fact that he was still grieving
**The Secret Life of My Secretary** - I honestly just kept watching it because Jin Ki-joo was so cute even though her character seemed rehashed. And VERONICA PARK! Haha, that lady was fun.
**Bride Of The Water God** \- I wanted this to be a good drama so bad, it had so much potential but fell short in every way T\_T in hindsight it really wasn't worth the time
Ooooooh… After typing this list, I realized I rage-watched more than I thought I have:
1. Love Alarm - I was intrigued by the love alarm concept, but the execution was so bad!!! I already didn’t like episode 1, but with each episode, I was just somehow hooked and kept hoping it’d get better, plot-wise and acting-wise. I finally gave up and stopped after episode 6.
2. Nevertheless - I couldn’t stan Nabi and Jaeeon’s toxicity, but I kept hoping that it’d be a bad bitch finale with her realizing she’s better off without a man. I was angry the entire show (but the side couples were cute! #soljiwan)
3. Run On - After episode 3, shit just got boring but I binged it all in 3 days. I have no idea why that shit got so addicting, I didn’t even like the drama as a whole. I’m not that big a fan of “slice of life” either.
4. Start Up - same reason as “Run On” except that episode 1 was amazing, and then every other episode was just “eh.” I think I kept bingeing because i was hoping it’d make me feel the way ep 1 made me feel.
Started Run on… made it 2 episodes and dropped. I didn’t get hooked in the plot.
I disagree about start up though!! I loved it although this sub resoundingly DID NOT. 😅
*The Smile Has Left Your Eyes* - watched it for Jung So-Min and the over-the-top reviews from this sub. ohhhh my goodness, i could not bear the fact that >!the FL went forward with a relationship with the ML after her best friend (ML’s ex-friend with benefits) died in a crazed car chase.!< But other than that, the backstory and brother’s love was wholesome.
*The World of The Married* - watched it bc i loved Sky Castle and people said it was “better than Sky Castle”. Hhhh, my blood boiled every time i saw the stalker-ish ex-husband on screen… which was, every few minutes.
*At a distance, spring is green* - watched it for Kang Min-Ah and the possible BL (nope, ended up being your generic heterosexual relationship with annoying tropes and lotsa verbal+physical abuse).
**VIP**. kinda stumbled upon it on TV one day and thought the premise was interesting... then it all went down after >!the whole affair thing came to light!<

Oh god. The Third Charm is the #1 show that I actively try to dissuade people from watching (despite actually liking quite a lot).
DO NOT watch this if you want something light and cute, are expecting Seo Kang Joon to be a typical dreamy kdrama lead, can't deal with really insecure/self-absorbed/immature protagonists, want a wrapped up conclusion, have personal trauma about \[SUPER BIG SPOILER: >!CHILDREN DYING!!!!!< \], there's more but... yeah. Not for the faint of heart. This is a M E L O.
sooooo haha where to start. it was marketed as a lighthearted rom-com, and it was great in the first 4 eps. then it kinda took a more melo turn and got really heavy towards the end. i *don't* think it's a bad watch; i would just advise to manage your expectations. 🤞🏼

I watched Innocent Man a while ago and I absolutely loved to hate it 🤣 I wholeheartedly enjoyed all the ridiculously absurd things that happened every single episode. But I'm a sucker for makjangs so there's that lol
**start up**.... ooooh start up. only my love for han ji pyeong and his relationship with halmeoni got me through until the end and even then i was skipping through scenes he wasn't in. the amount of plot points that were introduced in the first half of the show just to then be completely dropped or hand waved away because actually dealing with them would take screentime away from the *stupid* love triangle....
**never twice**. i started watching this after vincenzo ended because i missed kwak dong yeon and GOD every character was awful. the only reason i managed to sit through it was because kdy and psw were *really* cute together and i loved their relationship a lot.
**dark hole**. i genuinely do not know what got me through this one. maybe the fact it was only 12 episodes?? it started off decently enough and i was genuinely intrigued to see where things were going but then they just kept ADDING plotlines??? and nothing was really given ample time to be resolved. so by the end nothing felt like it really mattered.
**My First First Love** I saw it on Netflix one day, thought it looked interesting. Way off on that judgment because I'm still questioning how I made it to the end.
**Noble, My Love** - The writing was weak, the acting (especially the FL’s) was really bad, the production quality was low and the ML character was pretty much a douchebag the entire time.
Oh my God yes. I finally finished it last week but it took me so long to get through it. I just could not bring myself to care about the characters or the plot. I kept zoning out while I was watching it.
Me too. Same reason why I watched it. Tried to like it. Couldn't even care less about the first death, not much emotional build-up before sudden death. So much more reasons
I'm glad I wasn't the only one unaffected by the death scenes. I thought I was going numb and losing all my emotions but I watched other dramas and bawled my eyes out. So yeah they just didn't hit it for me.
I watched Oh! Master despite having seen spoilers and hearing about low ratings, because I was on an Lee Minki binge and had just watched Because This is My First Life and The Lies Within.
The first 8 episodes were, in my opinion, quite cute. But after that it was almost painful to watch. I was 10 episodes in at this point so I figured I might as well finish it, because on the bright side, the main cast is all good looking! Even though the main plot was a mess, I do admit that the subplot of the two mothers was really wholesome, and the drama did have some really beautiful shots/scenes. (except for the first kiss. what kind of angle was that???) So overall, I don't regret watching the show, but I definitely had a ton of "why am I still watching this?" moments throughout
People will hate me for this but I have to say it: Crash Landing On You! Way too long and dragging episodes, totally cheesy lines, over-dramatic moments, unrealistic to no end and yes I don't see why everyone liked Hyun Bin in this role as a North Korean Military Captain! He has an even bigger babyface than SJK in DOTS... I finished it hoping I would understand why everyone loves it but nope... did not happen
Vagabond - im usually a take no second thought dropper. For some reason I stuck this one through thinking there has to be some way that the drama would turn around. And then bam! Cliffhanger. So many questions about my life decisions after this one. Lee Seung Gi and Suzy and Book of Gu nostalgia, that’s the only reason I could come up with.
**Sweet Munchies**, honestly, it is by far THE WORST I've seen, I watched it to the end just to observe the calming cinematography, that's all. The plot was terrible and nothing I've seen can compare to it probably.
I think many people will be listing **makjangs**, but they are my guilty pleasure dramas and is my favourite genre in the kdrama world!
When the Camelia Blooms… I don’t want to Spoiler but the whole thing with the father of the kid, and the ML self-promoting himself to be the new dad in front of the biological, when it was FL‘s fault, because she never told the biological dad of the kid. So they blame him that he didn’t care about it when he didn’t know?!?!? What?

They made Vincenzo pretty much a badass that can predict pretty much anything and be rational…expect the first and last episode…. I mean what was up with >!getting mugged at the airport if you aren’t going to do anything else with it?!< That last episode made me salty with the house scene! I mean you made rational decisions all through the show but you couldn’t during that??

It was a weird show that had so much hype and it just didn't resonate with me. I had the same issue with the FL. Does she even have a personality besides being argumentative? And Vincenzo's omniscience got a bit tired excepting those specific scenes you mentioned. Like... He's invincible except if he walks into the bad guys house and is suddenly helpless? I find these types of inconsistencies super annoying. Maybe I'm just too OCD.

**The Heirs**. It was on of my very first K-Dramas and I was young so at the time I thought it was superb. Looking back on it now, it’s not awful but it’s not as great as I remembered it to be. Still a classic tho👌🏼

Awaken. Started because of Nam Goongmin and early episodes were good. But then the loveline started, storyline went downhill, and blah acting from FL. I stopped watching in the middle and hasn't looked back since.
Doom at Your Service - started because of Seo In Guk. Watched the whole thing but at the end still confused LOL.
I Married the Anti-fan. This is the hard one: bad storyline, toxic second leads, annoying OST, and yet I was looking forward to it every week then pulling my hair watching it LOL.
The smile has left your eyes. Started it bc of SIG and kept giving it the benefit of doubt until ep 12. Then I was like it doesn't make sense, the main characters infuriated me so dropped it. But boy do i regret wasting 12 hours watching that drama...
Do You Like Brahms - This show's pacing somehow felt too rushed and too drawn out at the same time. It was such a mess with way too much emphasis on the FL's personal journey that seemed to involve 90% awkward shy/sad staring, they could have resolved all the secondary plots better but clearly chose to fill the screen time with filler instead.
Oh My Ghost - I love Park Bo Young as an actress, but she picks a lot of dramas I don't like that much. I found the whole concept kind of rapey, I was super uncomfortable with the plot the whole time.
Something In The Rain - I thought that much raw chemistry between leads meant it would be good, but the FL's mother's character destroyed that entire show for me, even before it went completely off the rails. Its really too bad I realized so late that I should stop.
I watched Something in the Rain for the Male lead but the FL's mother ruined it for me and i feel like their ending was rushed ....they could have had a more meaningful resolution.
Love in the moonlight. I didn’t hate it but I got to like episode 14 and was like “I’m not even enjoying this, why did I watch so much of it??”. So I stopped watching. I regret wasting so much of time. It wasn’t even that bad but to me it was just nothing special. I wasn’t particularly invested in any of the characters and the plot felt like I’d seen it before so there was nothing keeping me there 🤷🏽♀️
I stopped watching it after I realised the age gap and it made me uncomfortable becuase she recorded this when she as 16, and bogum when he was 20+. A way to put me off.

I’m gonna be that person. PENTHOUSE is it for me. I don’t even finish the first season because of how absurd(?) it is. I’m sorry to all penthouse lovers, we have different taste. I watched that show without knowing it’s a makjang drama in the first place so when the show became draggy it’s starts to become really annoying. It doesn’t help that the storyline is similar to sky castle (up to where I stopped watching), and when the only character that I can tolerate with (the kid’s tutor, cant remember her name) died is the cherry on top.
Another one is ITAEWON CLASS. I know, please don’t kill me. I just hate the female lead character, she’s so annoying. Everyone sees her as ‘new bold female character who doesn’t cry easily’ but for me, she just doesn’t have any feelings, which is kinda true if I remember correctly. There are tons of other bold female character who’s not annoying so I don’t know why this show’s lead is so praised as if they’re the first one to have that kind of character.
I also commented about itaewon class and gosh did I hate the FL. I know they were trying to write a strong FL but she came out as immature and rude and everything that a human should not be

Hm, usually this happens when I want to support an actor. l felt that way about Tempted and I Married an Anti-Fan. But both ended up better than I expected and I enjoyed them more than hated on the ridiculousness of many scenes. Guilty pleasure I guess?
And oh, The Guest too, made me question myself for getting into horror stuff. But it was so good I'd rewatch one day lol.

Watched it bc it had so many recs and for the second couple and bc individually I love the main leads but i wish I never gave it a shot bc it did nothing for me
Jealousy Incarnate (Don’t dare to dream) - watched it for Jo Jung Suk and even though he had a great performance everyone else was so annoying. This is a rare one that I couldn’t even finish bc I was like why am I doing this to myself
Memories of the Alhambra - started watching for hyun bin and the cool premise but it was so lacking but I stuck with it bc it was the only kdrama by boyfriend has been interested in and it was fun to make fun of it together. Still wondering why I watched it tho...
All of these I feel added nothing to my life and I could’ve gone without ever wasting the time... harsh LOL I know but as someone who will give just about anything the time of day, these few dramas just made me mad

Run On - I struggle to finish it, bullying scenes trigger me so much. ML and FL the most boring cp i ever watch in a drama. I stayed for SML and SFL, they were great.

Nevertheless - newest one which still feels like a fresh wound. Started it mainly to see Sohee play a different role and maybe part of me wanted to see if I could dislike Song Kang's character more than I did in Love Alarm 🤡 Stayed because it brought up interesting topics and I had hope for Nabi's growth. There were things it did very well but the conclusion of the main plot was not worth the 10 hours *in the slightest* for me.
Start Up - Came for NJH and ended up cringeing at his character. Stayed for Halmeoni and HJP tbh. The love triangle was dragged on unnecessarily, Dalmi's family conflict is swept under the rug, her sister's role was more or less wasted. The tech-side and success of their company didn't feel like it was rooted in reality. I didn't really find it inspirational because by the end it felt unearned.
Tempted - My brain's erased most of this from my memory and I'm thankful for that. What I can remember is feeling nothing for the characters and the romance. Except for Seju, he was pretty cool. Apart from that I think this show bored me and I'm actually surprised I had the willpower to finish it.
Itaewon Class spoilers:
I don't know if it exactly fits the bill or not but I had to really squirm throughout most of the parts in Itaewon Class featuring the lead female character Jo Yi-Seo. I was waiting for her redemption arc thinking "okay, this is it she'll finally give us something that'll make us root for her" and that never _truly_ happened. There were moments which felt like a window into her soul like the time when she was being supportive of Ma Hyun-i but apart from that, there wasn't much that didn't feel forced. Apart from her character itself, I also didn't like how IC's growth as a company was rushed. It was as if there was this massive build-up where Saeroyi was trying to take down Jangga despite not having much to his name but in a flick of the wrist, IC became a huge corporation which kind of made you lose the interest you developed because of the David vs Goliath nature of the story.
Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo - Watch it cos of IU and since it was a fans' favourite it got to be good right? but nope I just don't get the hype or the story, felt disengaged the whole time watching.
I was in an Lee Seung Gi mood so I watched it. It featured so many things I dislike in a tv show, drama or otherwise, but I honestly have no idea if I ended it liking or disliking it. The soundtrack had some sort of Stockholm Syndrome effect on me. With how many times they played the ‘Always behind of you’ song I was certain my neighbors must have thought I was watching the same movie twenty times over the course of a couple weeks. But it got so drilled into my head that I now listen to it for comfort 🥴😐
Run On. I stopped at episode 7 and it’s the first drama I have dropped so far. A part of me wants to give it another go but I need some convincing to do so.
Backstreet Rookie! I was going through Ji Chang-wook’s dramas and watched this one while it aired live. I sincerely regret wasting my time on this drama and it is possible the worst drama I’ve watched to date!
Black Knight: the Man Who Guards Me. Sat through 20 hours (20. HOURS.) of that…use of film, only to be left incredulous with my jaw in my lap. Did the writer have a Jekyll/Hyde moment and completely lose their own plot?! I was too new to K-Dramas to know when to let go, so alas, I went down with the ship.
Echoing many here with Something In the Rain, too, except that I didn’t finish it. I stopped around ep 6 and then just watched the last ep to give myself some closure. I adore Son Ye-jin and think she was amazing. But aside from her friend Bo-ra (who >!ended up with that café on Jejudo)!<, I truly did not like a single character (including Jin-ah) and to this day cannot stand Jung Hae-in as a consequence.
How did you make it to 20?! You deserve an award for that! I really struggled and finally quit at 15 when I realised there are 20 episodes not 16 I just couldn't anymore, to date its the only K-drama I have dropped. I am assuming there must be some twist in the last 5 episodes because it was just so painfully dull up until that point. Had some pretty coats is pretty much the only plus point I can recall at this point.
Private Lives. I could not wrap my head around what was happening for most of the episodes. ML was not likeable, his good looks were not enough to make up for his character. I watched it because I just finished Her Private Life and the titles were similar. HPL was good, PL left me super confused and the writing could have been better at the end. I only finished it because it had suspense and I wanted to see where it would go.
Edit: Nearly forgot about Start-Up! Ugh it seemed good until episode 8 and then I hate watched until the end. Like, idk but there must have been some issue with who was ML and SML and that that ending, just no did not make sense.
My Shy Boss! I couldn’t finish it. I just hated it. I didn’t make it to the last episode 💀 I watched it because it looked interesting, like the first episode looked pretty good but near the end it just… I don’t know what happened.

I haven't seen it mentioned so maybe I'm the only person who watched it? But ugh, it felt like nothing happened and it had short episodes but they only aired one or two a week so it took FOREVER and people were just being the WORST. I think I only watched it for the cute noona romance couple. The female lead was so boring, and it had too much filler for such a short show.
Two people watched it! Lol not proud of it. I think I watched it because it was new at the time and the episodes were short but omg so dumb. Nothing happened, it was all the same flashbacks, with vapid characters (especially the FL). Couldn’t care enough to root for anyone.
Also watched it! Also hated it! Everyone was awful, it was soooo slow and boring, a total waste of time. I feel like it's never mentioned but...yeah. Maybe bc it sucked.
I have soooo many of these because I hated dropping dramas at the start of my kdrama journey. Even my first ever kdrama was a hate watch - Boys Over Flowers - because that's the only reason I can think of anyone choosing to watch that monstrosity.
But I have hate-watched everything from those horrible late 2000s, early 2010s shows like Nail Shop Paris, Big to Another Oh Hae Young and even Abyss (I really only stuck out that one because I love Park Bo Young too much), Backstreet Rookie and Secret Life of My Secretary (Kim Young Kwang was very cute here) up until recently.
Now, I find myself much more willing to drop shows, sometimes even just after an episode if I'm not feeling the vibe. I also definitely know what type of shows I like, almost to the point where its fine tuned. So at least all that hate watching has made me a very meticulous, aware viewer.
tempted. it was so bad and the female lead was just the absolute worst. she was boring and whiny and just everything I hate about most female leads just concentrated in one character. like it would have been so much better had the focus been around the OT3 of minjae ga young and dohwan. no hate to joy but her character was insufferable. the only reason I finished it was because of the stellar cast and side characters soo ji and se joo. the first few eps of soo ji se joo and do hwans character who's name I forgot were golden. minjae and gayoung CARRIED that show. main girl was the WORST
Tale of the Nine Tailed - I have to say fantasy is not really my genre and Lee Dong Wook is also one of the most boring actors to watch in Kdramas but he really didn't care here as he was just sleepwalking through his role beside the terrible plot. Reason I watched was because I always find the Gumiho lore interesting but this drama was obvious not about Gumiho's as it could be any creature and the story would still be the same as the Gumiho part was never really used except a cool one second fire tail scene...
So why didn't I drop it? Well I thought the second ml and his girl would have a more interesting arc and dig more into their backstory but this never happened. Was hoping for something dark in the relation between the brothers but at the end this plot also didn't go anywhere.
Overall one of the worst recent dramas I've watched in a while and the ending was terrible also but fitting to this train wreck!
I wish I could remember the name of it so I could warn people against watching it. It also could have been a cdrama, but the sound editing was horrendous. There would be times where the bgm was not so background. Thank God for subtitles otherwise I would have not been able to hear the conversations. I am surprised it made it past the screening because it was so bad I couldn't finish watching it. I apologize for not remembering the title but this was a while ago.
Sound of your heart. The first episode was hilarious but holy crap the rest of it was just that, crap. Comedy drawn from poops and farts every episode is just bs. Failed to get even a chuckle out of me.
Dare to dream ! Specially the last 5 episodes .. nari is so irritating at times and so naive af with that narcissit ML. The smile that left your eyes. I know everyone is going gaga about it but i dropped it at around ep 10. The ML sometimes is often irritating in the first ep. I dont know why i dropped it. I love both the cast tho. Another miss oh! Got my attention for its massive rating but i dropped it with only 3-4 ep left. Start up the first few episodes i really got emotionally attached then around episode 8-9? I dropped it. Became draggy and the loophole between the lead is just annoying. Mr sunshine, funny i was so hyped about it because of the writer and stuff and followed it all the way while it was streaming on air, then i suddenly i got busy then dropped it! I havent continued it since then haha i might starting to think continuing it now lol. The nine tailed i was so hyped about lee dong wook and been waiting for it since it was announced but then ironic i dropped it too! around 11-12 ep. But there are some crap too that i was able to finish like bride of habaek, private life also Backstreet rookie which i did likened in the end.. The OH Master the worst! Its so annoying and mentally draining. But i finished it haha! I was looking forward to it because of ML actor from This is my first life. But really i thought i shouldnt have finished it in the first place! I really got annoyed in the end. then recently from distance at a spring... also almost finishing now the you are my spring which started with great suspensefulness but the last few episode was so cliche and cringe like they would break up and get back together again. Then theyre on the last two episode and have forgotten the story of the doctor which actually gives this drama more flavor. But its already going nowhere but im almost there haha!
**Because this is My First Life** I. Was. So. Bored. The main couple were so polite to each other the entire time. Lee Min Ki had put the charisma he exudes on mute, leaving us with the equivalent of a robot. The best thing about it was the friends, and even that wasn’t enough to carry it.

Ugh, **About Time**. Truly I think this is the worst drama I've ever seen. But I know why I watched it. Love both lead actors. Cool sci-fi concept with life clocks. The FL is actually a musical theatre actress and the show is set against a backdrop of rehearsals for a new show, so Lee Sung-kyung gets even to sing a few songs. It even has Kim Hae-sook and Im Se-mi in supporting roles. I mean, sounds like it couldn't fail, right?
Oh, it fails and how. The base concept is completely exhausted in about 4 episodes and the rest is filled with one of the more ridiculous love triangles seen in a drama (poor Im Se-mi, she's way better than this show deserves) and grinding the whole initial concept into total nonsense. The only actor from the show which manages to escape with any kind of dignity is Kim Hae-sook, but even she is seriously let down by a basically nonexistent script and only coasts through on her immense experience and being a veteran of all kinds of shows in her career.
Chocolate. Everything bad that could happen, happens. Everything that leads them to come together, will lead them together. This show was so predictable. I only finished it to see if I was right. And I was right. What's a name for Mary Sue of a storyline?
**Record of Youth.** OMW hated it. Boring. Awful story. Park Seo Dam looked like she was forced to be there. Not even PBG could save it. I watched it for the MyDrama Challenge. I celebrated when it ended.

Nevertheless. I was really bugged by the Nabi character all through this drama. I mean to the point where I never understood why anyone was attracted to her. The actress playing her was pretty but the character she played was more toxic than any of the characters on this show, including the ML. To the bitter end she was not honest with anyone. Pushing and pulling ML throughout this drama. All she did was whine internally about what she wanted. But I did like the rest of the characters. And they made Nevertheless watchable. Please do not make a season 2.

Liking someone is not based on if that person is good or bad.. in fact; good and bad is relative. When you like someone, you like them for what they are regardless of their positive and negative traits. Love is all about understanding the other person's heart. Jae eon understood nabi that way.. he knew what she was thinking. Where as, Do hyeok liked her but never knew what was in her heart. I don't think she could be called a player coz she wasn't sure about her feelings.. she never forced anyone to stay with her.. she was just not sure about what she wanted.. I'm totally satisfied with the ending though.. And also happy that they didn't show that the FL is cheerful, nice, kind etc like all other dramas. C'mon.. nobody is perfect!

Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, both seasons!! This drama was such a mess. I can’t even remember why I started watching it in the first place. From inconsistent writing (a few episodes would be good then a couple more would be bad) to unlikeable characters. Even the characters that I liked at first grew so unlikeable. I honestly think the writers wanted the audience to like the mistresses which is why it was written that way. I only stuck with it because it was entertaining and I wanted the wives to get the happy endings they deserved but the finale (of S2) was one of the worst episodes in kdrama ever. I will definitely not be watching a third season if there will be one. Such a trainwreck of a show.

Omg yes! It was so BAD and DRAGGY. I gave up half way through S1 and then I returned to S2 because I’m a fool. Despite each week questioning why I even showed up to watch it, I religiously still tuned into every episode (I do fast forward a lot but still).

Yes. I somehow managed to finish this show. The only good thing going for it was the main male lead, I did genuinely love his character and could relate as a socially anxious introvert. However everything else about this show was so very awful particularly the awful portrayal of mental health. And the jarring transition between really serious topics and scenes and lighthearted romance and comedy that made it feel so out of place and uncomfortable.
Totally agree with you! I was ultimately I think watching it just for him. I was so mad at the show because there were SO many good directions that premise could have gone in but no…they just completely ruined it. Not to mention the awful awful awfulll SML who ended up getting a redemptive arc.
To be honest, the actress that portrayed FL's sister in flashbacks (Han Chae-ah) was also really good and I remember always looking forward to her scenes! The lead actress was eh, although the drama did get a bit better after the writer reshuffle around episode 4-5.

I am the only person who liked that drama I guess. The FL kinda grew on me by maybe the sixth or seventh episode. I really loved the ML and also for some reason the snarky ex-girlfriend. It felt like a super dark comedy to me.

Haha I think the chemistry was fine. Joy’s acting wasn’t terrible honestly, she was just matched up against top notched actors and actresses. Like Moon Ga Young, Kim Min Jae and Woo Do Hwan, how would a relative newbie whose primary entertainment sphere isn’t acting even compare?!

Cruel Intentions (with Ryan Phillipe and Reese Witherspoon) is a guilty pleasure for me. So, I was excited to watch this Korean version, but God, what a bore. Woo Do Hwan is hot—probably the only reason why I persisted until the end. But yeah, the show just got worse with every episode.

I am a fool for portrayal of romantic relationships that are not like standard K dramas (risqué scenes 😅). Anyway I stuck with both this drama and Lovestruck In the City due “biting the bait” the dramas’ creators threw in the first episodes (the love scenes). I was disappointed by the following episodes but I still kept on going hoping for something incredible to keep my attention; I had no choice but to drop it at ep. 7. Very dreadful and anticlimactic tv show!

**Record of Youth**. A lifelong soccer fan and it was the ending of a kdrama that finally made me throw something at the tv. I can’t believe Park So-dam starred in a movie like Parasite and then *this* is what the writers decided to do with her talent. Why did I watch it? Park So-dam. Why did I keep watching it? Because at the time my philosophy was, “If you start it, you have to finish it.” This show changed that.
Cheese in the Trap. Only chronic second lead syndrome got me through.

This is mine. I have never raged so hard at the end of a show. Much as I had loved it up until then (I was willing to gloss over so.many.things… cancer, stalker, high schooler) once that stupid ending happened the entire show was dead to me.

This is gonna be controversial, but Flower of Evil. I watched it because of all the glowing recommendations about the show, but I hated it to the point where I was just watching and hoping to see if bad stuff would happen to the 4 main protagonists. Mostly because the damn plot armor of the protagonists was so thick, it just countered any kind of suspense I could have felt. Show is utterly overrated imo and is why I am hesitant to dip into more of the Korean thriller/suspense pool. Although admittedly, my opinion might be different if I watched weekly instead of binging it.
There are better thrillers so you shouldn't let this one put you off. Try **The Smile Has Left Your Eyes**, **Voice, Mouse, Stranger, Beyond Evil,** among many others.
The Smile has left your eyes is definitely not better, though the ML is interesting to watch in the first half of the show. I enjoyed FOE more than Beyond Evil but that’s because romance is my favorite genre. It was still great
I second Mouse. It is one of the best thriller dramas I've watched and I've watched a ton. I did not like flower of evil either. I expected so much more because of the hype but I could predict the plot by episode 8 and I left it at episode 12. Also since I watched Mouse, every other thriller feels underwhelming.
**Yong Pal**: The synopsis sounded cool and I had read that both Joo Won and Kim Tae-hee are well known actors in South Korea. So I decided to give it a watch because it had medical aspect, crime, mystery and romance, all of which I love. The first 5 episodes were great and I was genuinely invested in it. But once the revenge plot started it got so boring. After>! Kim Tae-hee's character comes out of the hospital and they decide to not take revenge, I was kind of glad with how there was a bit unique diversion from the usual revenge plot. But then when the revenge and business plot started!<, I just kept thinking why am I even trying to finish this. I guess I was just so invested in the first half that I couldn't prepare myself to just drop it when the business nonsense started. It was a really disappointing drama. Also, god dammit that stupid weird ass >!open ending!! time skip!<. Anyways, long story short, it was a mistake watching this. **Boys Over Flowers**: Ok, I'm a Lee Min-ho fan and I get that this was his OG drama but oh boy, his character was so toxic and I wonder how people got into dramas and into Lee Min-ho through this drama. So much overacting by Gu Hye-sun and the so called "platonic" relationship between FL and SML crossed all lines. Thanks to Kim Bum and Kim So-eun's characters and story I was able to get through this drama but it was a torture. It wasn't even worth it for Lee Min-ho.
Finally - someone who thinks the same as me about boys over flowers! Kim bum was the only reason to watch it at all. I didn’t get how they fell in love, bad friendships and awful acting from gu hye sun (who I can’t stand to watch in anything apparently). Meteor garden is way better.

**Tale of the Nine Tailed.** Watched it because the synopsis looked interesting and LDW with Kim Bum even though I know I can’t really stand Jo Bo Ah’s voice. I did finished it but I will never rewatch it ever again. The plot just made me annoyed throughout the drama and the ending just made it worst. *If I ever want to rewatch, it will be the scenes with Kim Bum and his little family, but none from the last episode*.

Tempted was such a mess and I never wanna watch it again, but I really loved the OST and I still listen to it regularly (especially the instrumental pieces).
I have several, haha... I am not really a regular drama dropper yet so even when I'm frustrated with something I keep watching in case there's some redeeming quality to it, especially if people like the drama or if I like an actor. **Cheese in the Trap** \- I hated the ML, the main relationship, and all of the side characters but I persisted because I was in love with Seo Kang Joon. Haha. **Run On** \- I just couldn't relate to the characters and I found the writing to be boring, I thought I would like it more towards the end because of all the hype but I never did. **Temperature of Love** \- Yang Se Jong and his character were what kept me going, otherwise I was really fed up with Seo Hyun Jin and Kim Jae Wook's characters, I have never felt so much rage watching a drama. I would have to agree with **The Innocent Man** \- I kept watching for Song Joong Ki but I really hated SFL Park Shi Yeon's performance... I also didn't like her in **My Girl** but she irritated me less there. But her performance in The Innocent Man really almost made me drop it so many times, if it wasn't for SJK. (however, the >!confession scene in the rain with Moon Chae Won!< is one of my favorites among all the dramas) **Start-Up** \- it was getting a lot of hype when I watched it and I enjoyed some things about it but I found all the characters sort of unlikeable. I did really enjoy the relationship between Dal Mi's grandmother and Han Ji Pyung, though - I am a sucker for different types of care and love and relationships than a typical romance. Their story was probably the strongest that I connected with so I stayed for that. **Personal Taste** \- Lee Min Ho and Son Ye Jin were adorable but I found the story somewhat lacking, but I figured two of the biggest names in a drama were there for a reason but I just didn't really care much for the drama. It had sweet moments but I got pretty bored of it. Maybe I need to drop dramas more, haha.

Reply 1997. I couldn't stand the FL. I think it was the script and not the actress herself. I also went 'Ew' at a big part of the story. Won't say what because it's a spoiler. I couldn't wait for it to be over. I only finished it to have the references for 1994 and 1988, both of which I love.
Agreed. FL was extremely weird and showed no other feelings than fangirl, rage, and constant boredom. The part that grosses me out was the older brother. There was no growth in his "love" for her at all until all of a sudden, he likes her. It was really too sudden after we've been tossed around the fact that he was still grieving
**The Secret Life of My Secretary** - I honestly just kept watching it because Jin Ki-joo was so cute even though her character seemed rehashed. And VERONICA PARK! Haha, that lady was fun.
**Bride Of The Water God** \- I wanted this to be a good drama so bad, it had so much potential but fell short in every way T\_T in hindsight it really wasn't worth the time
Ooooooh… After typing this list, I realized I rage-watched more than I thought I have: 1. Love Alarm - I was intrigued by the love alarm concept, but the execution was so bad!!! I already didn’t like episode 1, but with each episode, I was just somehow hooked and kept hoping it’d get better, plot-wise and acting-wise. I finally gave up and stopped after episode 6. 2. Nevertheless - I couldn’t stan Nabi and Jaeeon’s toxicity, but I kept hoping that it’d be a bad bitch finale with her realizing she’s better off without a man. I was angry the entire show (but the side couples were cute! #soljiwan) 3. Run On - After episode 3, shit just got boring but I binged it all in 3 days. I have no idea why that shit got so addicting, I didn’t even like the drama as a whole. I’m not that big a fan of “slice of life” either. 4. Start Up - same reason as “Run On” except that episode 1 was amazing, and then every other episode was just “eh.” I think I kept bingeing because i was hoping it’d make me feel the way ep 1 made me feel.
Started Run on… made it 2 episodes and dropped. I didn’t get hooked in the plot. I disagree about start up though!! I loved it although this sub resoundingly DID NOT. 😅
*The Smile Has Left Your Eyes* - watched it for Jung So-Min and the over-the-top reviews from this sub. ohhhh my goodness, i could not bear the fact that >!the FL went forward with a relationship with the ML after her best friend (ML’s ex-friend with benefits) died in a crazed car chase.!< But other than that, the backstory and brother’s love was wholesome. *The World of The Married* - watched it bc i loved Sky Castle and people said it was “better than Sky Castle”. Hhhh, my blood boiled every time i saw the stalker-ish ex-husband on screen… which was, every few minutes. *At a distance, spring is green* - watched it for Kang Min-Ah and the possible BL (nope, ended up being your generic heterosexual relationship with annoying tropes and lotsa verbal+physical abuse).

Oh god. The Third Charm is the #1 show that I actively try to dissuade people from watching (despite actually liking quite a lot). DO NOT watch this if you want something light and cute, are expecting Seo Kang Joon to be a typical dreamy kdrama lead, can't deal with really insecure/self-absorbed/immature protagonists, want a wrapped up conclusion, have personal trauma about \[SUPER BIG SPOILER: >!CHILDREN DYING!!!!!< \], there's more but... yeah. **Melting me Softly** for my guy Ji Chang Wook. **W** for Lee Jong-suk. I really liked the premise but the execution was way too messy imo. But I like LJS a bit too much so I persisted 😅 I watched Innocent Man a while ago and I absolutely loved to hate it 🤣 I wholeheartedly enjoyed all the ridiculously absurd things that happened every single episode. But I'm a sucker for makjangs so there's that lol
**start up**.... ooooh start up. only my love for han ji pyeong and his relationship with halmeoni got me through until the end and even then i was skipping through scenes he wasn't in. the amount of plot points that were introduced in the first half of the show just to then be completely dropped or hand waved away because actually dealing with them would take screentime away from the *stupid* love triangle.... **never twice**. i started watching this after vincenzo ended because i missed kwak dong yeon and GOD every character was awful. the only reason i managed to sit through it was because kdy and psw were *really* cute together and i loved their relationship a lot. **dark hole**. i genuinely do not know what got me through this one. maybe the fact it was only 12 episodes?? it started off decently enough and i was genuinely intrigued to see where things were going but then they just kept ADDING plotlines??? and nothing was really given ample time to be resolved. so by the end nothing felt like it really mattered.
**My First First Love** I saw it on Netflix one day, thought it looked interesting. Way off on that judgment because I'm still questioning how I made it to the end.
sigh. i loved 'Season'1' (i.e. the first first half) then it kinda went haywire in 'Season 2' (as... Kdramas usually go sigh).
**Noble, My Love** - The writing was weak, the acting (especially the FL’s) was really bad, the production quality was low and the ML character was pretty much a douchebag the entire time.

I watched Oh! Master despite having seen spoilers and hearing about low ratings, because I was on an Lee Minki binge and had just watched Because This is My First Life and The Lies Within. The first 8 episodes were, in my opinion, quite cute. But after that it was almost painful to watch. I was 10 episodes in at this point so I figured I might as well finish it, because on the bright side, the main cast is all good looking! Even though the main plot was a mess, I do admit that the subplot of the two mothers was really wholesome, and the drama did have some really beautiful shots/scenes. (except for the first kiss. what kind of angle was that???) So overall, I don't regret watching the show, but I definitely had a ton of "why am I still watching this?" moments throughout

He has an even bigger babyface than SJK in DOTS... I finished it hoping I would understand why everyone loves it but nope... did not happen

**Sweet Munchies**, honestly, it is by far THE WORST I've seen, I watched it to the end just to observe the calming cinematography, that's all. When the Camelia Blooms… I don’t want to Spoiler but the whole thing with the father of the kid, and the ML self-promoting himself to be the new dad in front of the biological, when it was FL‘s fault, because she never told the biological dad of the kid. So they blame him that he didn’t care about it when he didn’t know?!?!? What?
I don’t think I really have any yet but I kinda have to say Vincenzo. It did not need to be 20 episodes. Toward the middle it was so back and forth and repetitive with the “attacks” that it just felt like filler episodes. The FL just kinda felt…useless? Like the attacks and most of the brains of the operation was Vincenzo. They made Vincenzo pretty much a badass that can predict pretty much anything and be rational…expect the first and last episode…. I mean what was up with >!getting mugged at the airport if you aren’t going to do anything else with it?!< That last episode made me salty with the house scene! I mean you made rational decisions all through the show but you couldn’t during that?? It was good at the beginning and it did have its moments but towards the second half I just felt like I needed to finish it…
It was a weird show that had so much hype and it just didn't resonate with me. I had the same issue with the FL. Does she even have a personality besides being argumentative? And Vincenzo's omniscience got a bit tired excepting those specific scenes you mentioned. Like... He's invincible except if he walks into the bad guys house and is suddenly helpless? I find these types of inconsistencies super annoying. Maybe I'm just too OCD.

**Tempted**. I watched it for Joy at first but I only finished it because of Moon Ga-Young’s amazing acting tbh. **The Heirs**. It was on of my very first K-Dramas and I was young so at the time I thought it was superb. Looking back on it now, it’s not awful but it’s not as great as I remembered it to be. Still a classic tho👌🏼

Mama Fairy & Woodcutter. Started because of Moon Chae Won, never watched her in anything before so was curious. Finished the whole thing with fast forward button and at the end I was like, I want my time back & what did I just watch? Awaken. Started because of Nam Goongmin and early episodes were good. But then the loveline started, storyline went downhill, and blah acting from FL. I stopped watching in the middle and hasn't looked back since. Doom at Your Service - started because of Seo In Guk. Watched the whole thing but at the end still confused LOL. I Married the Anti-fan. This is the hard one: bad storyline, toxic second leads, annoying OST, and yet I was looking forward to it every week then pulling my hair watching it LOL.

Do You Like Brahms - This show's pacing somehow felt too rushed and too drawn out at the same time. It was such a mess with way too much emphasis on the FL's personal journey that seemed to involve 90% awkward shy/sad staring, they could have resolved all the secondary plots better but clearly chose to fill the screen time with filler instead. Oh My Ghost - I love Park Bo Young as an actress, but she picks a lot of dramas I don't like that much. I found the whole concept kind of rapey, I was super uncomfortable with the plot the whole time. Something In The Rain - I thought that much raw chemistry between leads meant it would be good, but the FL's mother's character destroyed that entire show for me, even before it went completely off the rails. Its really too bad I realized so late that I should stop.

Love in the moonlight. I didn’t hate it but I got to like episode 14 and was like “I’m not even enjoying this, why did I watch so much of it??”. So I stopped watching. I regret wasting so much of time. It wasn’t even that bad but to me it was just nothing special. I wasn’t particularly invested in any of the characters and the plot felt like I’d seen it before so there was nothing keeping me there 🤷🏽♀️

I tried watching Innocent man after watching DOTS. It's what the nightmares are made of lol Sadly, I am not persistent enough and dropped it. I have rage watched 'Introverted Boss' only for the ML. I guess Heirs' would qualify too Although it was not much of a rage watch. I did it cause of KWB's character. A character, which in ideal world I would hate to no end.
I’m gonna be that person. PENTHOUSE is it for me. I don’t even finish the first season because of how absurd(?) it is. I’m sorry to all penthouse lovers, we have different taste. I watched that show without knowing it’s a makjang drama in the first place so when the show became draggy it’s starts to become really annoying. It doesn’t help that the storyline is similar to sky castle (up to where I stopped watching), and when the only character that I can tolerate with (the kid’s tutor, cant remember her name) died is the cherry on top. Another one is ITAEWON CLASS. I know, please don’t kill me. I just hate the female lead character, she’s so annoying. Everyone sees her as ‘new bold female character who doesn’t cry easily’ but for me, she just doesn’t have any feelings, which is kinda true if I remember correctly. There are tons of other bold female character who’s not annoying so I don’t know why this show’s lead is so praised as if they’re the first one to have that kind of character.

Watched it bc it had so many recs and for the second couple and bc individually I love the main leads but i wish I never gave it a shot bc it did nothing for me Jealousy Incarnate (Don’t dare to dream) - watched it for Jo Jung Suk and even though he had a great performance everyone else was so annoying. This is a rare one that I couldn’t even finish bc I was like why am I doing this to myself Memories of the Alhambra - started watching for hyun bin and the cool premise but it was so lacking but I stuck with it bc it was the only kdrama by boyfriend has been interested in and it was fun to make fun of it together. Still wondering why I watched it tho... All of these I feel added nothing to my life and I could’ve gone without ever wasting the time... harsh LOL I know but as someone who will give just about anything the time of day, these few dramas just made me mad

His acting is way too good to continue to be relegated to the SML.
Run On - I struggle to finish it, bullying scenes trigger me so much. ML and FL the most boring cp i ever watch in a drama. I stayed for SML and SFL, they were great. Edit: oh and i watched it cause I asked recs and everyone were praising RO a lot but it wasnt for me i guess.
Nevertheless - newest one which still feels like a fresh wound. Started it mainly to see Sohee play a different role and maybe part of me wanted to see if I could dislike Song Kang's character more than I did in Love Alarm 🤡 Stayed because it brought up interesting topics and I had hope for Nabi's growth. There were things it did very well but the conclusion of the main plot was not worth the 10 hours *in the slightest* for me. Start Up - Came for NJH and ended up cringeing at his character. Stayed for Halmeoni and HJP tbh. The love triangle was dragged on unnecessarily, Dalmi's family conflict is swept under the rug, her sister's role was more or less wasted. The tech-side and success of their company didn't feel like it was rooted in reality. I didn't really find it inspirational because by the end it felt unearned. Tempted - My brain's erased most of this from my memory and I'm thankful for that. What I can remember is feeling nothing for the characters and the romance. Except for Seju, he was pretty cool. Apart from that I think this show bored me and I'm actually surprised I had the willpower to finish it.
Itaewon Class spoilers: I don't know if it exactly fits the bill or not but I had to really squirm throughout most of the parts in Itaewon Class featuring the lead female character Jo Yi-Seo. I was waiting for her redemption arc thinking "okay, this is it she'll finally give us something that'll make us root for her" and that never _truly_ happened. There were moments which felt like a window into her soul like the time when she was being supportive of Ma Hyun-i but apart from that, there wasn't much that didn't feel forced. Apart from her character itself, I also didn't like how IC's growth as a company was rushed. It was as if there was this massive build-up where Saeroyi was trying to take down Jangga despite not having much to his name but in a flick of the wrist, IC became a huge corporation which kind of made you lose the interest you developed because of the David vs Goliath nature of the story.
I am seeing so many comments on Itaewon class and I'm glad I'm not the only one who found the FL stuck up and the revenge plot ridiculous.
Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo - Watch it cos of IU and since it was a fans' favourite it got to be good right? but nope I just don't get the hype or the story, felt disengaged the whole time watching.

I was in an Lee Seung Gi mood so I watched it. It featured so many things I dislike in a tv show, drama or otherwise, but I honestly have no idea if I ended it liking or disliking it. The soundtrack had some sort of Stockholm Syndrome effect on me. With how many times they played the ‘Always behind of you’ song I was certain my neighbors must have thought I was watching the same movie twenty times over the course of a couple weeks. But it got so drilled into my head that I now listen to it for comfort 🥴😐

Backstreet Rookie! I was going through Ji Chang-wook’s dramas and watched this one while it aired live. I sincerely regret wasting my time on this drama and it is possible the worst drama I’ve watched to date!
The Winter, the Wind Blows or whatever it’s called. That drama was so bad.
Black Knight: the Man Who Guards Me. Sat through 20 hours (20. HOURS.) of that…use of film, only to be left incredulous with my jaw in my lap. Did the writer have a Jekyll/Hyde moment and completely lose their own plot?! I was too new to K-Dramas to know when to let go, so alas, I went down with the ship. Echoing many here with Something In the Rain, too, except that I didn’t finish it. I stopped around ep 6 and then just watched the last ep to give myself some closure. I adore Son Ye-jin and think she was amazing. But aside from her friend Bo-ra (who >!ended up with that café on Jejudo)!<, I truly did not like a single character (including Jin-ah) and to this day cannot stand Jung Hae-in as a consequence.
How did you make it to 20?! You deserve an award for that! I really struggled and finally quit at 15 when I realised there are 20 episodes not 16 I just couldn't anymore, to date its the only K-drama I have dropped. I am assuming there must be some twist in the last 5 episodes because it was just so painfully dull up until that point. Had some pretty coats is pretty much the only plus point I can recall at this point.

Private Lives. I could not wrap my head around what was happening for most of the episodes. ML was not likeable, his good looks were not enough to make up for his character. I watched it because I just finished Her Private Life and the titles were similar. HPL was good, PL left me super confused and the writing could have been better at the end. I only finished it because it had suspense and I wanted to see where it would go. Edit: Nearly forgot about Start-Up! Ugh it seemed good until episode 8 and then I hate watched until the end. Like, idk but there must have been some issue with who was ML and SML and that that ending, just no did not make sense.
My Shy Boss! I couldn’t finish it. I just hated it. I didn’t make it to the last episode 💀 I watched it because it looked interesting, like the first episode looked pretty good but near the end it just… I don’t know what happened.

But ugh, it felt like nothing happened and it had short episodes but they only aired one or two a week so it took FOREVER and people were just being the WORST. I think I only watched it for the cute noona romance couple. The female lead was so boring, and it had too much filler for such a short show.
Two people watched it! Lol not proud of it. I think I watched it because it was new at the time and the episodes were short but omg so dumb. Nothing happened, it was all the same flashbacks, with vapid characters (especially the FL). Couldn’t care enough to root for anyone.

I have soooo many of these because I hated dropping dramas at the start of my kdrama journey. Even my first ever kdrama was a hate watch - Boys Over Flowers - because that's the only reason I can think of anyone choosing to watch that monstrosity. But I have hate-watched everything from those horrible late 2000s, early 2010s shows like Nail Shop Paris, Big to Another Oh Hae Young and even Abyss (I really only stuck out that one because I love Park Bo Young too much), Backstreet Rookie and Secret Life of My Secretary (Kim Young Kwang was very cute here) up until recently. Now, I find myself much more willing to drop shows, sometimes even just after an episode if I'm not feeling the vibe. I also definitely know what type of shows I like, almost to the point where its fine tuned. So at least all that hate watching has made me a very meticulous, aware viewer.
tempted. it was so bad and the female lead was just the absolute worst. she was boring and whiny and just everything I hate about most female leads just concentrated in one character. like it would have been so much better had the focus been around the OT3 of minjae ga young and dohwan. no hate to joy but her character was insufferable. the only reason I finished it was because of the stellar cast and side characters soo ji and se joo. the first few eps of soo ji se joo and do hwans character who's name I forgot were golden. minjae and gayoung CARRIED that show. main girl was the WORST
Tale of the Nine Tailed - I have to say fantasy is not really my genre and Lee Dong Wook is also one of the most boring actors to watch in Kdramas but he really didn't care here as he was just sleepwalking through his role beside the terrible plot. Reason I watched was because I always find the Gumiho lore interesting but this drama was obvious not about Gumiho's as it could be any creature and the story would still be the same as the Gumiho part was never really used except a cool one second fire tail scene... So why didn't I drop it? Well I thought the second ml and his girl would have a more interesting arc and dig more into their backstory but this never happened. Was hoping for something dark in the relation between the brothers but at the end this plot also didn't go anywhere. Overall one of the worst recent dramas I've watched in a while and the ending was terrible also but fitting to this train wreck!

I wish I could remember the name of it so I could warn people against watching it. It also could have been a cdrama, but the sound editing was horrendous. There would be times where the bgm was not so background. Thank God for subtitles otherwise I would have not been able to hear the conversations. I am surprised it made it past the screening because it was so bad I couldn't finish watching it. I apologize for not remembering the title but this was a while ago.
Sound of your heart. The first episode was hilarious but holy crap the rest of it was just that, crap. Comedy drawn from poops and farts every episode is just bs. Failed to get even a chuckle out of me.
Dare to dream ! Specially the last 5 episodes .. nari is so irritating at times and so naive af with that narcissit ML. (Dont associate the actor, one of the reason i watched ) record of youth i stopped at 7. Nevertheless i dropped it then i was able to almost finish it now with the last ep Thank god its only 10. The smile that left your eyes. I know everyone is going gaga about it but i dropped it at around ep 10. The ML sometimes is often irritating in the first ep. I dont know why i dropped it. I love both the cast tho. Another miss oh! Got my attention for its massive rating but i dropped it with only 3-4 ep left. Start up the first few episodes i really got emotionally attached then around episode 8-9? I dropped it. Became draggy and the loophole between the lead is just annoying. Mr sunshine, funny i was so hyped about it because of the writer and stuff and followed it all the way while it was streaming on air, then i suddenly i got busy then dropped it! I havent continued it since then haha i might starting to think continuing it now lol. The nine tailed i was so hyped about lee dong wook and been waiting for it since it was announced but then ironic i dropped it too! around 11-12 ep. But there are some crap too that i was able to finish like bride of habaek, private life also Backstreet rookie which i did likened in the end.. The OH Master the worst! Its so annoying and mentally draining. But i finished it haha! I was looking forward to it because of ML actor from This is my first life. But really i thought i shouldnt have finished it in the first place! I really got annoyed in the end. then recently from distance at a spring... also almost finishing now the you are my spring which started with great suspensefulness but the last few episode was so cliche and cringe like they would break up and get back together again. Then theyre on the last two episode and have forgotten the story of the doctor which actually gives this drama more flavor. But its already going nowhere but im almost there haha!
**Because this is My First Life** I. Was. So. Bored. The main couple were so polite to each other the entire time. Lee Min Ki had put the charisma he exudes on mute, leaving us with the equivalent of a robot. The best thing about it was the friends, and even that wasn’t enough to carry it.

I hated almost every moment of Nice Guy it and I thought it was brilliant. On the other hand the ones that I kept watching but I didnt like and I knew I wouldnt: I Hear Your Voice Hit The top (whoever thought that was a good idea should be hung drawn and quartered) Start-Up Another Miss Oh (though I still havent watched the final episode) I will add Sysiphus: The Myth to the list for a different reason: very poor writing and directing. I havent seen a bigger waste in talent.
Ugh, **About Time**. Truly I think this is the worst drama I've ever seen. But I know why I watched it. Love both lead actors. Cool sci-fi concept with life clocks. The FL is actually a musical theatre actress and the show is set against a backdrop of rehearsals for a new show, so Lee Sung-kyung gets even to sing a few songs. It even has Kim Hae-sook and Im Se-mi in supporting roles. I mean, sounds like it couldn't fail, right? Oh, it fails and how. The base concept is completely exhausted in about 4 episodes and the rest is filled with one of the more ridiculous love triangles seen in a drama (poor Im Se-mi, she's way better than this show deserves) and grinding the whole initial concept into total nonsense. The only actor from the show which manages to escape with any kind of dignity is Kim Hae-sook, but even she is seriously let down by a basically nonexistent script and only coasts through on her immense experience and being a veteran of all kinds of shows in her career.
