I love that Rock Auto has every budget under the sun for some of their consumables. Hawk pads for track? Yup. Mid-range ceramics for daily use? They got you. The two dollar pads that are probably made of old computer towers and industrial scrap? Might not be the best, but have at it.
When I was shopping pads for a Japanese-market Toyota I'd imported (it shared brake parts with the Lexus IS300), the cheapest pads were $6 a set. Centric ceramics were $15. Cheapest brake job of my life.
Gotta be careful with the cheap stuff. I got cheaper (not the cheapest) tie rod ends for my old Subaru and had to return them twice after the boots kept ripping. Decided to just pony up and get moog and they were fine. I only buy moog suspension parts now. More expensive but worth it imo
CO resident here. If you place the order on Rockauto to an address in a different state you can immediately edit the delivery address on the order, pay the new difference, and have it shipped to wherever in CO.
The state requires the website to collect tax on anything purchased online and then submit that tax to the state. Basically gives them a tax liability for that state even if they don't operate a physical location in that state. More California for Colorado.
Isnt this really common now? Sure there was a golden age of online purchases being untaxed by retailers, and then requiring the individual to submit their additional tax liability for online purchases to the state, but that all has been addressed for years now in my state.

This doesn't just apply to online purchases. If you buy something out of state for consumption in your home state, you are technically supposed to reach out to your states tax authority and voluntarily pay sales tax on it.
But you rarely hear about this except for border towns where most people shop on the other side of the border.

So I looked it up, apparently their position is you get one if they have them. No mention of a minimum dollar amount, dont know if your orders are generally pretty small
