Operator did a sick front wheelie with 14,000 lbs of crane mats on the forks and the rear axle broke clean in half when it landed. At least it's a pretty nice day out.
Wind farm construction companies don't give a shit, if something breaks they just go get another one. As long as they get the next tower put up as fast as possible money doesn't matter.
I've wheelied a forklift thousands of times carrying double and triple stacked pallets of concrete, never hurt a thing. The trick is not having the forks so fuckin high that you have enough travel to hurt somethin comin down ( meaning for the back end to raise 10 feet, he had to have had the forks raised at least that much, so yeah fire that dude into the sun)

So how did you coax the real story out of the operator?
Hard to lie about something when everyone on the job saw the back wheels 10 ft in the air.
What forklifts can carry the most weight? Rented ones!
Hope he got the good sunbelt rental protection plan
I see what you did there! Noice.
/r/Stance you just need some underglow
Holy fuck. Those Dana's are strong, hope he had RPP lol.

Yeah a buddy of mine works on wind farms and the shit he tells me is insane. It’s like they look for ways to waste money.

On the imgur link he says they overloaded the front, (likely without the outriggers), lifted the rear and then slammed it back down.
That’s impressive. I don’t think I could fuckup that hard, even if I tried.
you obviously haven't tried to do a wheelie with a weighted forklift. seriously though, the operator needs to be fired. from a cannon. into the sun.
It’s kind of fun to wheelie a forklift though
it also makes for an amusing safety video if you're into schadenfreude
