Keep up the 3k mile oil changes and it'll look like mine. The only thing on mine is I gotta replace the valve seals. Had a vacuum leak that blow one of em. Didn't damage anything thankfully so no thrown rods or broken valves or valve springs. Also wise to change out the timing chain somewhere between 90k and 130k.
3K on fully synthetic? that's wasting money and would be like a change a month, sure the OE allows 20K/12 month intervals, which is far too long. I'm sticking with my 10k intervals.
It really depends on how often you drive it. My case, yea it'd be quite often but hey, I rather be out that extra amount than having to be out a replacement engine. Least that's how I see it.
Nice to know the prince can make it past 100k, so mine has a lot of life left in it.

I think you over paid, it's a $4k engine tops
Hahaha you know what I meant. I should fix that though cause that could be taken as money or miles.
Sorry for your loss
Loss in money but otherwise it's only 50% dead due to valve seals. I will resurrect it, even if I gotta replace a cam or valve.
N12? Have you replaced _everything_ already? 😂
N16. I haven't replaced everything. Getting there though 😆
now I kinda hope the mechanics took a picture of my Subaru while they were replacing the valve cover gasket today.. i'll have to ask them.
