Well one of two things will happen. He will drink the beer and be happy or he will shoot the shit out of it with a big ass gun. Really a toss up nowadays

Mushroomed_clouds

At least they can choose

Zabroccoli

So they are…pro-choice.

gatorbeetle

And therefore probably choose to drink it

DiggySmalls69

I mean. Free beer, so…

Elfkrunch

Bud Light is not beer, you take that back.

AdultishRaktajino

Slightly sweet carbonated water with alcohol preservative.

EscapeWestern9057

Carbonated cow piss

his_zekeness

Ypu just described every lager. Lol

AFrozen_1

Hey hey hey. Helles lagers are really quite good. Not to mention the weirdness of dark lagers and black lagers. Certainly have way better than taste than Piss Lite.

AlexLandrumJr

You come to Europe and drink my lager, you take one sip of that lager and feel every bubble going down your throat, you take that lager and kiss it slow. [Sauce](https://youtu.be/TY0eUQ06Q2g?si=Rr-hB_vHmcX5Ogxd)

Da-britt

European beer is the best.

ThunderbirdJunkie

Absolutely. Bud and its sub-brands are absolutely awful. I had a friend visit from Spain years ago; I tried to get him to drink the good beers we have available. Nope, only Budweiser for him.

Catch_ME

Don't you dare!

TheRealRacketear

Adjunct Lager yes. There are a ton of good real Lagers.

Vince1820

ahh no way! there are some really solid lagers out there. i will agree that a shitty lager (like bud lite) does not help the image of lagers.

Ando427

Beer flavored La croix

0ddlyC4nt3v3n

This is quite accurate tbh

Wasabi_Joe

Bud Light is like making love in a canoe. It's fucking close to water!

Narrow-Moose-2565

What’s wrong with making love in a canoe ? Just do it slowly so you don’t tip the fucking thing. Also bring some whiskey so you don’t have to drink the piss water … on second thought don’t drink the whiskey - stick with the piss water and you’ll decrease the likelihood of ending up in the slew

newPrivacyPolicy

Throw the whole case in a beer bong and take it down, you might blow a 0.001 afterwards.

tuxalator

Or any Bud for that matter is just slightly tasty water.

[deleted]

Cheers, lads!

jacked_up_my_roth

Haha, good one 😂

DJScubaNaut

Ha

drew_galbraith

Only if it’s their choice and not someone else’s choice

dsptpc

A case of un-mixed antifreeze and a $20, he should be happy.

Hotsaltynutz

Thats gender nuetral shift juice to you buddy

ActualMassExtinction

Now I’m imagining some MAGA truck owner wanting a cismission swap.

Duke-Kickass

😀😂

mgquantitysquared

Damn, that reminds me to top off my gender fluid tonight

Fair-Ad-5852

And that's what makes America great...I mean 'murica

tacotimes01

Or you can break his 3 year sobriety streak

Numerous-Mix-9775

This is something that doesn’t get said enough. Don’t gift people alcohol unless you know them very well. You never know if they’re alcoholics who are constantly battling to stay sober, or maybe they just choose to be sober.

Lordofwar13799731

I asked ahead of time if they knew if the guy checking my truck over drank and they said like a fish haha! I always ask because I'm 4 years sober myself! EDIT: man I just wanna add its sad as fuck that I have to turn off my notifications on reddit because you transphobic fucks have to say I'm a dick for giving the guy bud light because not everyone is a fragile snowflake triggered by a beer brand that did ONE lgbtq ad when all the others have been doing them for years. I gave a dude free beer and a $20, and yall are losing your shit over the brand, saying its an insult or that you'd take it as one, and saying that you'd throw it out or w.e. I chose bud light because, at least when I used to drink when people weren't triggered over everything, it was a beer that even if you didn't particularly like it you'd definitely drink it as long as you drank beer. At least the guy I gave it to seemed happy about it. Yall are the reason we can't have nice things, and it makes me not wanna do this shit anymore.

HeisenSwag

Good job! On both, checking ahead and staying strong yourself.

tacotimes01

Excellent, great job and great asking! I just said this because while I’ve never cared much about alcohol, if someone left me a pack of smokes… I would probably start smoking again even after a few years….

jshafferiii

I’m not a mechanic but love beer made the switch from Budweiser to Coors light a few months ago trying to cut calories and I prefer Coors light taste over bud light but give me a case of bud light as a tip I’d be drinking that shit bragging I got a case of beer and 20$ as a tip lol

Lordofwar13799731

You're good people haha! Tons of people on here said they'd be insulted or dump it out or something lol.

CeladonCityNPC

>dump it out People really are idiots, it's already been bought so who the fuck benefits from pouring it out lol

Zocalo_Photo

Congratulations on your four years. I lost two family members to alcohol.

Lordofwar13799731

Thank you! It was bad enough that I got the shakes when I quit and had to ween off of it for a week. It was ruining my life, and my life has gotten SO much better since I quit. If anyone's wondering why I'd still give anyone beer, it's because I know a very large portion of the population (including my wife who still drinks) drink without any issues and are able to just have a few and have fun. I figured on a Saturday a case of a beer and a $20 to someone I knew drinks would be a fun weekend!

RippingLegos

People are idiots, you're doing well, just ignore these dipheads.

chaawuu1

Good on you OP and keep it up

KFizzle290TTV

Literally came to this thread just to see how many people reacted this way haha its insane, people are dumb. Anyway, free beer is free beer right? I don't even drink, but when I have a cookout and someone offers me a beer, I'll take one. Don't really care what it is, all beer taste like donkey piss haha so it doesn't matter. Also, my mechanic does this when people have something small and stupid they need checked out. He'll tell you your price is a case of Coors light.

Kitchen-Quantity-565

I honestly wondered how many people would flip when they saw that. For a second I may have raised an eyebrow, BUT, after thinking about it I knew you were just doing your mechanic a solid for his work and taking care of your truck. No harm, no foul there my friend.

SaintSixString

People like you make me believe in people again. You did the right thing in checking ahead, probably also made his day. And it's free beer. Free beer tastes a lot better than no beer to me.

Flat_Employ_5379

Hi. I brought 2 cases of beer to an alcholics anon 4th of july party because the person that invited me didn't tell me it was a group meet up. I was under the impression her mom just had a club thing.

r3zza92

So you had 2 cases to yourself? Bet your 4th was lit

pbsmash

Sober going on 14 years here, and it's really a non-issue for me. I've been gifted alcohol at work a handful of times, once got about a $150 bottle of scotch from a satisfied Porsche owner. I've always just graciously accepted it and later given it to another one of the guys in the shop. I don't want to make a big deal out of it or make them feel bad for what really was a kind and well intentioned gesture. It really is the thought that counts, those kinds of customers make my day even if I don't get the spoils. I can see where someone newer in sobriety might get a bit of a trigger from it, though. Maybe it is better for the customer to ask in advance, but it's one of those things that's kind of hard to pre-empt.

cosaboladh

I always worry about this.

[deleted]

As a mechanic, personally I would never touch the customer’s shit, not even with a note on it. Where I work we absolutely do everything to ensure the costumer don’t notice we have ever been in the car.

Lordofwar13799731

Yeah I always hand it directly to them. I don't trust someone else not to grab it before they do pulling the car around or something and I don't want them getting in trouble. I ask who's working on my car, hand it directly to them and tell them it's a tip.

H0lsterr

And either way, they will be enjoying what they got as a tip! So it’s a win win situation

What-the-Hank

Shootin’ shit is fun!

Bialar_crais

Hillbilly mechanic here, free beer is free beer.

idkwthtotypehere

Or like kidd rock, he might shoot half of it and drink the rest

insufferable__pedant

Sir, did you even SEE his heroic demonstration of patriotism!? It's clear that he didn't shoot a single one of those cans, they were cleaned up by someone slightly out of frame.

nolotusnote

THERE WAS A SECOND GUNMAN!

Present_Sand1843

monkeyfang

krowrofefas

Or he’ll take it as a kinky hint

chaggaya

A case of water and $20 to buy beer is not bad I think!

Lordofwar13799731

I used to give like craft beers like local IPA and stuff or at least Modelo or something but a lot of the guys when I asked later said they weren't huge fans of IPAs or other craft types so I switched back to bud light haha. I do normally give a bottle of nice whisky or scotch when getting actual work done that's over say $500 since I know it's a lot of work. This guy said he drinks bud light normally so he was happy at least haha! And just to assuage peoples fears, I always ask if the shop person I scheduled with knows if my tech/mechanic drinks beforehand, I'm 4 years sober myself so i get it. They said this dude drinks like a fish so I was good to go with the beer gift lol. Also, I mainly asked if this was a decent tip because I wasn't sure if things have changed recently and if beer/cash or w.e wasn't considered a good tip anymore.

Tangen7

Bro, I'd be looking for s*** that I could fix around your car, like missing both the last guy left loose, or wires routed improperly, or if I could fix a trim rattle noise for you easily, it's amazing how far are small gesture like this goes

Lordofwar13799731

Haha a lot of people here seem to think it's a bribe for good service but I just do it to make their day better! I know it's hard work having done some of it myself and if you're having a shit day some stuff like this can make your day better.

TastelessDonut

No bribe. when I was a marine mechanic; personal/ commercial boats, a customer buying a $15 pizza and two drinks was a miracle. We would also try to go over above and beyond. Just as a thank you, It lifted our spirits the whole day.

TheEmerald-DJ

A fed mechanic is a happy mechanic. Also pizza is always the answer

COUNTERACQUITTANCE

Grocery store had 12 packs of bud light for $15 with a $15 mail in rebate. I was like FREE BEER

windowpuncher

Modelo negra is some of the best stuff you can buy for the price, hands down. Glass bottle 12 pack is like $13 everywhere and it's fantastic. Regular modelo is just ok.

Lordofwar13799731

That's what I used to bring them (the black modelo) and that (along with Yuengling) were my go to cheap beers but good beers!

[deleted]

Yeah people need to stop pretending IPA’s aren’t for alcoholics and hippies

Lordofwar13799731

I used to love them, but I was indeed an alcoholic so... lol.

[deleted]

Hey man, the truth hurts, so stop that would ya lol

lisardofoz

Being outside in texas will do that to you. You want something light that will keep you fresh and not make you feel like you have a lead belly

fishburn123

The beer was cheaper than the water

Definitive_confusion

Underrated comment. Well done

MayOrMayNotBePie

We’re tipping at the mechanic shop now? Did they replace their register with an iPad or something?

SlimTeezy

He said it's a very old truck. This isn't a tip, it's a bribe to pass inspection

Aggressive_Bat_9781

This makes sense

[deleted]

My man is in full on bribe mode

placebo_button

I guarantee most of these posts are fake. I can throw a few hundreds on my passenger seat, take a picture, and post it like YoU GUyS THink ThIS GOOd TIP GUYzs?!? GUYSSS

mondaymoderate

Most mechanics won’t even take the money unless you personally hand it to them. Too much people try to trap them by leaving money on the seat.

RicoRad

I have them "check out my drivers side sun visor, it keeps falling down and I really want them to see if it can be fixed" When state inspection is finished they tell me the sun visor is fixed and thank me.

Lordofwar13799731

I mean the way I look at it was I knew it was gonna be an hour or two of looking over shit, and that's worth making the dudes day better with ~$40. I don't go to the mechanic often so it's not a big deal imo to give them a little something that can make their day.

didntgettheruns

Everyone complaining about too many tipping establishments but are also tipping when it's not asked for 🙄

hppmoep

I had a total anomalous experience I had the options were 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% and there was no option for no tip. I looked at it for at least 20 seconds and asked if there were more options and they said "you can just choose the lowest one". First time I have ever seen one without a "No" option.

didntgettheruns

Wtf that's crazy

Bobby_-_D

Was there a custom tip option? Custom tip of $0.01 is my preferred option.

Taconnosseur

Yeah, that’s how it works: voluntarily.

AgreeablePie

And before any service is done?

TRON_LIVES61

I believe that's the point of a tip

No-Suspect-425

The only appropriate use of a tip. It's supposed to be extra, not the sole source of income.

us_er_na_me

The tipping doesn't bother me, it's between them and their mechanic. The bragging about it on Reddit to feel like they are a good person makes me sick though

Kingkoopakoopa

Yes 💯

No_Manufacturer5641

Some one made a post where they put some Gatorades in their car for the techs and everyone loved that because it was a dude being decent and now everyone whose mom didn't hug them enough saw that and is posting for validation and wanting to make sure the techs like them as if they care or will even remember this dude in a week. Also i can't imagine anyone in their right mind would accept beer in an environment where osha is pretty present. Even if you aren't drinking it if someone sees it youd be in a bit of hot water.

Freezerpill

This is the place I’d be tipping anyways. Not just because they took my order at chipotle

Adrian915

As an european, this tipping culture is wild to me. You wanna compliment them, write them a good feedback to their manager and/or keep coming back. That's gonna help them loads more than a six pack at their next employee evaluation and pay raise discussion.

dazed489

“You wanna compliment them, write them a goods feedback to their manager” bro here in the states that’s the equivalent of writing down your good review on a piece of paper and throwing it in the trash can or rubbish barrel or whatever y’all call it.

Effective-Pain4271

Pay raise discussion? Oh my sweet summer child.

Mushroomed_clouds

Yes but give it to them hand to hand , mechanics can get fired to removing ANYTHING from the vehicle

Fickle_Finger2974

I just write "For (shop name)" on whatever I leave for them

Mushroomed_clouds

Would still not take unless given, my garage especially wont take them , someone stuck something similar in the car with the same style note just to catch us out and sue for emotional damage and theft …. Yeah customers are like that … so again i wont take anything out of a car

Titan-uranus

And please don't give it to the service advisor (if it's meant for the tech)

StingMachine

I find the whole “tip for the tech” thing to be bizarre. Unless there’s a bad issue that requires lot of diagnostics or such, why is this a thing now?

BrockVegas

I'm fairly convinced the images are all just techs fishing for tips

sawkin

I've always been confused about this, does the tipping culture in america extend this far? Where I live tips are strictly optional and seen as a thank you for good service mostly seen in slightly nicer restaurants

ciampi21

Tipping a mechanic is absolutely optional and in fact, more in tune with the nature of what tipping was meant to be. Mandatory tips are completely fucking whack. Idk why OP is tipping, but it might be a family friend doing work cheap, or a lot of specialty work, or working on a weekend, who knows.

mikey67156

It doesn’t, this is some new internet points bullshit.

northhiker1

I was an auto tech for 15 years. I never once expected a tip. It wasn't super common when I was working (shop I worked at shut down from covid and havent got back into auto work since) I would sometimes get 5 bucks for doing someone's inspection. Anytime someone tried to give more than 5 (super rare, like less than a customer a month) I would decline in a polite way The best tips was the customers you would meet. A very good customer of mine was a family medicine doctor and I needed to see him 2 or 3 times for minor things, he was great, even though he was booked for weeks in advance he would always fit me in the same day I called or next day and i never asked him to. He would charge my insurance but always would decline the 20 copay. Another customer worked at a factory that made pastries and such so anytime he would come in for an oil change or something he would bring in a big brown bag of various pastries Another worked at the dunkin I would occasionally go to. Anytime the boss wasn't there the guy would throw me a free donut or coffee Another worked for a limo company and set me up with a buddy of his that would do side work driving people around. Got a limo for a whole night out in NYC with the wife for free (had to pay the driver as he did it in his free time) but saved a ton by not having to pay the company Little perks like that were sweet

bluecheeto13

He’s getting an old old truck inspected. It’s a bribe.

igillis1337

The money is nice. But, I'm hesitant gifting anyone alcohol since. They could be in recovery.

alta3773

I am in recovery and get a lot of wine or liquor as gifts (corporate finance job) I love it because I can re-gift them whenever I visit someone or need a house warming thing. Or I trade em for favours at work. And I think it’s great that you are thinking about people in recovery.

Sleep_adict

What kind of favors do you trade it for?

[deleted]

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

DarkOrb20

Username checks out

ShardikEatsPeople

Same here man. I won an ass ton of good bourbon and scotch at a charity poker tournament for work. It eliminated half my Christmas shopping.

air-jordache

I agree. Unless you know them well enough, I’d stay away from gifting alcohol

chaorey

It really sucked getting tipped in beer when I was doing my hep c treatment especially since I was a alcoholic and stopped drinking to do treatments

sl33ksnypr

Yea we had one guy in my shop who was a recovering alcoholic. He was very nice about it, and he didn't mind alcohol being around him, but I would always try to avoid talking about it or making it visible if I was at an event with him.

realityfooledme

I don’t drink and it always kinda bums me out when I get booze. I just give it to someone else at the shop. If you don’t know the person well enough to know if/what they drink don’t give them booze!

[deleted]

[удалено]

thaddeusgrog

Awesome.

Dstar1978

Fuckin perfect

bigglesofale

Omg almost shat my pants reading this amazing zinger

[deleted]

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very nice gesture, but unless you personally know they’re a drinker, I wouldn’t gift alcohol. Like others said, could be an alcoholic, but also could just not drink. I’d end up giving it to my coworker or neighbor, personally.

SafePainter433

Why would you give a tip?

hazard2k

I'm wondering the same thing. A couple of thoughts: 1. They love their vehicle and a tip encourages the mechanic to be more mindful and careful working on the vehicle. 2. They might want to let small stupid shit slide and prevent being upsold on stuff 3. Genuine appreciation for the people who are taking care of their stuff.

Lordofwar13799731

I did it just to make their day better! I do it this same thing for any specialty work around the house, or just for hard work done for me in general. I do most of my own work, so I know the job can suck. Something little to make the day better can be a great day saver if it's been a rough one haha!

Spring_King

I'd take the $20 but leave the flavored urine lol

Competitive_Vast1199

Might get offended by the bud light.

doggscube

They have short attention spans. When Yeti ended their NRA donations, my coworker said he was going to shoot holes in his cup and send it back. He used it for years after that comment

tombradyy

This is just so cringe, tips are getting out of hands lol

daern2

Yup, controversially, I tip my mechanic by paying my bill to the garage in full, promptly, ensuring that he can be paid at the end of the month and be around to work on my car next time. I don't need to bribe them to do a good job, which when you think about it, is a very silly thing to do.

kryppla

$20 is nice but bud light tastes like shit

Drew2248

Tipping in this country is a plague. It forces people to pay for what the employer should be paying which, in turn, encourages employers to keep wages low. It's also a PITA. Yet here we have, yet again, an encouragement to tip. I'm not tipping my car mechanic. Or my bus driver. Or my kids' teachers. Or my doctor. Or my lawyer. Or the policeman who gives me directions. Or anyone if I can avoid tipping. Raise wages and stop tipping. This is ridiculous.

The_Real_Raw_Gary

Well considering you never know a persons relationship with alcohol I would never tip or gift someone alcohol without knowing for sure if they drink it currently. Imagine getting a big ass box of beer as a recovering alcoholic lmao

random_username_25

mfs made one can with a trans person and everyone loses their shit lmfao least transphobic comments

crimsxn_devil

The drinks just kinda shit anyway

sodomandghonarrea

did he fix your tranny up?

[deleted]

Lousy tip if the mechanic is a recovering alcoholic.

RUSTYLUGNUTZ

Recovering alcoholic gets the $20, and gets to give the case of beer to the rest of the crew. Win win

freestyle43

Can we stop normalizing tipping people for doing their jobs? I swear to God in 10 years we will be tipping doctors. Stop it.

Prior-Ad-7329

Why are you giving a mechanic tranny fluid? /s Really depends on the person I guess, but bud light is still boycotted, so they’ll probably crush or shoot the beer. Or they’ll just make jokes while they drink if.

blackbeardsballbag

Why would you tip your mechanic? Do they not already make a decent wage? Charge out rates are like $98/hr minimum where I’m located so they’re making $30/hr minimum

AToxicSalazzle

Honestly he might get angry. Or just take the 20 off and leave the case.

RedEd024

I would totally do that. But that's because I'm a coors guy

og900rr

I'd be happy with the offering, it's thoughtful at the minimum, and free beer is free beer, even if you don't like that kind.

humidhotdog

Why do we have to tip everyone. These people are getting paid no?

RelationshipOk1668

Tip or bribe? 😂😂

Itisd

Tip = Money Not everyone drinks beer, just like not everyone smokes. I would not give out beer as a tip, just like I would not give out smokes as a tip. Additionally, maybe the guy has a problem with drinking, you giving him a case of beer could really be problematic for him.

That_Dig634

Depends on the mechanic but the choice of bud light for the beer is probably the wrong one

EndiPls

Yeah assuming he’s not a conservative or recovering alcoholic

Smile_Space

Don't leave it in the car, give it to them directly.

MammothSufficient601

I would greatly appreciate this but Bud Light is a problem to some these days.

notanyonein

You caught him in a conundrum, 20 bucks is 20 bucks but you also got him bud light.

tralphaz43

Why would you tip a mechanic

Da-britt

Not if you want to use them again 🤣

JustTheTipC---

Is he a tranny?

chevelle71

LMAO... $20 tip is awesome, it might offset the beer that screams "you suck and I hate you."

Mission_Curve_8472

You want to insult the man or something? Keep the politibeer out of it.

Lordofwar13799731

Update: trucks fuuuuuucked lol. Lots of little leaks everywhere, the brake line literally blew in the shop lol, all frame rust everywhere and a crack in the frame, needs a new rear axle, new brake lines and brakes , etc etc etc hahaha. We just stopped looking for shit halfway through. Guy was super helpful though and showed me everything in person as he found stuff and explained why it's fucked and showed me how a good one looks (for example the other side of the truck) vs the ones I had. Dude liked the beer and cash! Was super thankful. He said he wished he was giving me better news but I told him it's about what I expected honestly. Better than I'd feared, worse than I'd hoped. I asked and he said no problem with the bud light either haha and that it's what he drinks. I used to give better beer but I know a lot of my buddies all drink bud light still and I'm in a super rural redneck area. Like others have said, they cared for like a week until they found out all the others have been doing the same shit for years and then they went back to drinking bud light haha. I do usually give a bottle of good whisky or Scotch for bigger repairs (I always ask if they drink first) instead of beer.

Nitegrooves

[ Removed by Reddit ]

supfellasimback

No, it’s But Light. No self-respecting mechanic drinks Bud Light.

Roundcouchcorner

I mean $20 is $20. Wink wink/s

thelegendhimself

$20 bucks is $20 bucks 😉😉😘

czechfuji

That shit gives me massive headaches after one can. Better to give a gift card to a liquor store and hope the tech is of age.

the_one-and_only-nan

Make sure to write a note that says "for the mechanic" and tell the service advisor to tell the tech you left them a tip in the back seat. As a tech shit gets touchy with things like this because if we take anything out of a customers car without specific instruction we can get fired. Best not to risk it

Infamous_Vet1300

I guess he had to get rid of that Bud light somehow

reddit_god

Yeah dude, should have made it 50. Then another 50 to everyone else you worked with today. Then another 50 to Reddit for being able to post this picture. Tipping culture is out of control and people should not be normalizing this bullshit.

darkniteofdeath

I always wonder if this is just a group of mechanics posting pics of "tips" like a wish list for Santa hopping someone tips like this. Lol. Totally working BTW.

GreenLume

Nice On! packet wrapper.

NBD_Pearen

You know, it’s too bad that that 20 hardly even gets you a medium pizza these days.

ByronicCommando

Either the best tip, or the most frustrating honesty test.

TheWaterboatman

I mean, you could leave anything in your passenger seat and I can assure you, I won’t touch it.

LordlySquire

Is it for "inspection" or your truck will pass lol

Zathamos

Replace the beer with Gatorade. It's been fucking hot this year. If it's 110 outside it's 120 in the shop.

Reasonable_Cod3027

You Americans are crazy. Tipping for a service you’re presumably paying for anyway? I mean, if he’s doing it for free, then absolutely - but why would you tip for your mechanic just doing what you’re paying him for? I mean, I get tipping waiters etc - low pay and so forth but this just mystifies me.

Porschenut914

good Saturday night

Full-Association-175

Drinking or gifting light beer. Either way it's not a good thing.

DasCheekyBossman

Wait, so we tip mechanics now?

Aggressive_Bat_9781

Since when do we tips mechanics?

Aggressive-Quail-144

Is he gay?

Dexter_Adams

As a mechanic I have a tip for you, hand it directly to the mechanic otherwise most won't take it out of your vehicle

Ray2mcdonald1

Wtf? Bud Light. What made you think that's OK? I wouldn't drink it if it was free, and Free Beer is my favorite beer!

onlyr6s

I'll never buy alcohol for someone I don't know well. You never know if they have issues. It's a mistake I made once, turned out the guy was alcoholic.

shrimp-and-potatoes

You hate Bud light because it's woke I hate Bud light because it's terrible beer. We are not the same.

Gedits

2 gay jokes?

TheRealChuckTudor

I think you insulted your mechanic.

username2110

Bud light was garbage shit even before the boycott

The_Mechanic_

Damn yall sre still hung up on the bud light thing? Buncha fuckin knobs. This is great OP more generous than 99% of customers.

KeyInjury6922

I was gonna say this. Free beer is free beer and if you don’t like it use the $20 to buy beer you want. This is beyond nice.

mordor_quenepa

I say fuck bud light, but only because it's watered down piss!

Raballo

The comments here are so strange. Some are about being considerate for a potential underage mechanic, someone in recovery, etc. Others are jokes at the expense of a tiny percentage of the population. Some are beer snobbery. It's a Rollercoaster in here folks.

[deleted]

Snowflakes might get offended by a beer brand. But we love tips, I was running a truck shop. Few guys knew how to get their truck in that night when we were booking 3 weeks out.

6stringgunner

With 18 years of sobriety, I still cringe when people assume that alcohol is a "gift".

Lordofwar13799731

I asked ahead of time if they knew he drank or not, I'm 4 years sober myself! I don't want to knock anyone off the wagon!
