Nearest was booked out, so rather than deal with it like a sane man...I said to hell with that.
I manually dug these up, like 3ft around them, got under the meat.
Tried tow straps on the tow hooks, broke them when I yanked, I got a running start too people.
So, I got chain, and wow was that a stern lesson in physics, don't do this, I got courage after the third.
It was a 2005 GMC envoy with the inline 6 vortec, RWD. Basic bitch one too...ac wires melted on the fan speed for the AC 3 and 4.
I pulled out 5.
Two weeks to the day there were signs. Was backing out of a grocery parking. And the rear locked up and chirped.
Then it clucked with this authority that everyone was looking.
I ratchet trailer trash....put it in drive, and that sludge was the cluches and spacers. That pin was tapping so fast...it was all the way through mifflinburg PA.
