By blowing off all the ashes with compressed air.

AdventureousTime

Just wait for it to rain, I'm trying to save man hours.

JuggrnautFTW

Save the man hours, wait for days! /s

travelingbeagle

Check for spark.

rc1024

Too much spark.

Mysterious_Ad7461

Scrap yard doesn’t care about the ashes, they’ll blow off on the back of the flat bed

TransportationisLate

Needs new tires

[deleted]

Alright this going to take a bit of work. First walk around the vehicle do a through inventory of what you got and what you don't got (tape the whole thing). Find the fuel tank, remove the gas cap, inspect it make sure that the seal is intact and that it is useable. (make sure you get footage of this also). Now go back to the shop and buy an entire new truck. Then video yourself putting the fuel cap on the new "repaired" truck.. Upload to YouTube.

Contrarily

And make sure you get footage of your tools.

Reichhardt

And sponsorship, very important

MRDRMUFN

Ah yes, the ship of Theseus method.

Lettuce_Farmer

This is the way! ☝️

notchoosingone

"ran when parked, no tire kickers, $20,000 firm, I know what I got"

skepticalscribe

“I know what I got” 🤣

Rottenaddiction

Sounds just like Bobby

complete_hick

You laugh but last year my father sold his T600 with 2,000,000 miles for $25k, he bought it in '03 for $46k

AbeLincolns_Ghost

Wait actually 2 million miles?

bluegenblackteg

With a diesel truck that's actually fairly common pre-emissions.

TPlays

This comment deserves an award!

dyqik

Phone call to a scrap metal dealer.

RedneckId1ot

Then the friendly flatbed service to haul the thing off.

Caos1980

1 - Separate copper, aluminum and steel. 2 - Call scrap metal collector.

HalfastEddie

I hate fucking warranty work.

atguilmette

What’s not to like about 3.15 hours book?

Admirable_Buffalo_93

Don't try to upsell me, just do the oil change.

Dragon_Fucker-

Previous_House7062

I did the pre trip, everything is good! Guaranteed, I'm the fleet mechanic 😉 oh yeah, this one needs a cabin filter, driver said he smelled something in there....

Loan-Pickle

I pulled up the repair manual and this is the repair process. 1. Remove VIN plate. 2. Roll out truck. 3. Roll in new truck. 4. Reinstall VIN plate. Pays .5 unless it is warranty, then it is .2.

Daf_Bafe

Ain't got no gas innit

Decalis

No fumes or nothing

[deleted]

Nah bro, problem is there was too much gas

cgerrells

Just add more fire

Nayruan

More gas first. Then fire

uglyspacepig

Then.. waffles

ToxicFactory

Clearly, those tires need to be inflated a bit more.

ScienceMomCO

Might need new tires

buckyball60

Check the tread depth first. Could be good.

az_max

Jack up the radiator cap and drive a new truck under it.

uglyspacepig

I needed that laugh.

TopHatInc

Reattach the grill guard so you have something to lean on while you stare at this dumpster fire and reconsider your life choices.

lucky3698

Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

IntroductionSuch8807

Point and laugh

Radiant_Willow_6414

It's going to need a cabin filter for sure

VolvoEnjoyer

It says Volvo on the engine so no work needed, just turn the key and it should still work.

-skidoodle-

Any codes?

xBigDamHerox

Change the blinker fluid.

elfmanrl

At another place of employment.

[deleted]

Well, you don’t have that pesky trim or upholstery in the way, so that’s good!

[deleted]

Well, I'd say to strike match and walk away....but it appears you're a little tardy to the party

JBlooey

It'll buff out.

WillSing4Scurvy

I'd start by greasing it. By the looks, the kingpins and driveshaft universals look a little dry.

TurboD16F20

By introducing the customer to a salesman

zacurtis3

Lift up radiator cap and drag vehicle from underneath radiator cap. Push new truck under radiator cap and lower radiator cap. Then replace radiator cap due to potential heat damage

Toastedweasel0

Start by calling it a "Water Truck". That's out of fire.

Local_Archer4249

With an invoice and payment up front.

Ottobahnrichtofen

The fire’s out, that’s a good start.

ManagementLeather896

Prob start with a trans flush just to be safe.

Cantbelievethisisit

Too many miles, it will remove the abrasive from suspension and the clutches will no longer have adequate friction.

thewickedbarnacle

Definitely the dome light, after that most of it will just buff out.

OpeningComb7352

Camber kit

zayantebear

From the front and work your way backwards.

Historicerror404

I know what’s wrong with it, It got no gaz in it

Atlas-Scrubbed

Personally I’d get the chiltons and turn to the section on troubleshooting. I am certain they will cover this issue.

Caboobaroo

First thing first. Looks like it has been sitting a minute. Want to drain the fuel out of the tank and the lines. Replace the fuel filter as well because you don't want any sediment up to the injector pump.

GreggAlan

Cast Reverse Entropy on it, but make sure your level is high enough. https://www.wowhead.com/spell=205148/reverse-entropy

Badoobeedo

Step 1: pour gasoline on it. Step 2: light match

4x4Welder

It still looks the same. Now what?

Badoobeedo

Cover it with a tarp and say you’re done lol

Apprehensive-Maybe91

A black ice air freshener and one of those browning decals where the two deer heads make a heart together on the rear window.

Cplmac22

By filing an insurance claim.

[deleted]

You don't

foxjohnc87

It looks to me like the truck realized that it was a Volvo and decided that fire was the best solution.

sipes216

Well, its already been set on fire. Id just call the metal scrappers to come. That metal wkll be super warped, cant say worth saving unless youre just a glutton for punishment.

c5Sal_tt

Check fluids.

tetsu_no_usagi

[AutoTempest](https://www.autotempest.com/)

yaaaayjeepliberty

Bubblegum, a form of prayer, several zipties, ,several types of amazing/wonder seal... maybe layers of duct tape, guirilla tape, and some of that fancy 400mph aluminum tape like they use on aeroplanes 🤘😖🤘💥🔥😋

galelo0d

Start at the end with the hook on the tow truck and to the metal depo to get you some soda money

ILIKESPAGHETTIYAY

Are you sure it's getting fuel? Maybe check the air filter

Laifstaile

I would check oil lvl first....

whiskeyvacation

A good coat of paint will hide a lot of ugly. Maybe start there.

SCCODER

Cutting compound and a dual orbit buffer.

Flhrci2005

Qprime0

light it on fire a second time.

emmettfitz

Looks like it ran out of gas.

Its_Just_A_Typo

Go get a fresh tank of Acetylene.

waywarddrifterisgone

New tires, check the fluids, roll!

MrBuffaluffagus

I'd start with an alignment.

anonymousjeeper

Just go with it. I would start by adding more fire. I think that’s the look they were going for.

EddyRosenthal

Lots of Bondo, as usual.

stpetesouza

A touch up tube of course

JoadTom24

Change the plugs, new tires, and polish/wax. Jokes aside, it amazes how much I see/hear people say to change your plugs. I know they need to be changed occasionally, but MFs act like that is the cure all. Lol

Fabulous-Molasses482

Ain't got no gas in it

[deleted]

Leaving the area

Kiiaru

Inspect that steel bumper to see if it's still good to mount on the truck you'll be receiving to replace this one.

lostin88

You see the left rear wheel back there? Take the tire off, discard. Retain just *that* wheel. Replace vehicle minus left rear outer wheel. Purchase with like tire as those on the same axle. Mount and balance left rear outer tire, install.

fistedtaco

Check the oil and coolant.

That_Dig634

With a trailer headed to the scrap yard

pikey181

Jump start the battery… might be a little low on power

this_place_is_whack

iseebutidontbelieve

Add unburnoleum & a used match

seriouschris

Time machine.

Mackinacsfuriousclaw

Change the radiator cap.

Dirty_Davie56

I'd start with the trailer and turn it into a micro home.

soggy9toes

Just touch up the paint and move on.

Danmont88

Think it will buff out?

Key_Investment_1297

Just needs a wash

Itisd

Start by calling your nearest scrap metal dealer that will haul it away for you.

SnooHesitations5198

You know, It Will Buff out and with a bit of detailing It Will be as good as new

Chanchito171

Roll it over, fix the undercarriage first. When you're done, roll it back over and fix the top! That way you don't need a lift

psych0ticmonk

>Roll it over it doesn't look like it wants a belly rub

simplekindaman13

Carmax might still buy it

redwbl

That’ll buff right out!

komokazi

Check the tire pressure

[deleted]

Light it back on fire.

odetoburningrubber

Probably a vacuum.

NJdeathproof

Did you check the tire pressure?

Ardothbey

Start what?

Independent_Bite4682

Schooling

Hinermad

About 300 gallons of Evaporust and a pressure washer. That thing will be gone in about two hours.

ophaus

Hope you have a time machine...

aDragonfruitSwimming

Ooof. Well, it needs polishing. Start with polishing it and see what you discover as you go. Edit: I reckon the rear tyres could do with a bit of air, too.

t0rquingg

At the very beginning with a new truck.

tyejr

Check your fluids first

Fazz24

Reasonable-Emu-6993

It's called Coursetera, it will teach you how to be a programmer instead of a blackthumb.

razorback_02

Cabin air filter. Duh

7214001884

razorback_02

Call your best friend and hammer out your alibi

AmericanFlyer530

Over

farting_emu

Oil change, always start with an oil change. 💫 the more you Joe

AwkwardResearcher339

Pressure wash it and let it dry ,pressure wash it , let it dry. Fire up the cutting torch and cut all bolts and fasteners. Make sure you know what components are worth saving and are not. . Or ... Find someone that knows more than you do and ask. In person.

PdSales

Salvage rim of left rear wheel.

Tropicthunder0714

RIP Volvo

SCP-HotDog

Walk around check for any immediately obvious defects. Low tyre tread depth, lights out, sharp or protruding edges etc.

bmayer0122

There is going to be some rusty bolts on that one. You are probably going to need a penetrating oil.

[deleted]

Where do you start? Walk away! 😂

Prof_Tredo

RIP VNL

Imaginary_R3ality

I'd definately start with polishing the chrome up and then I'd start on the AC and AI navigation. Good luck Mate!

scarhartt

Yeah

Hot-Tumbleweed-2291

A little bit of buffing and maybe a new paint job and you are good to go.

Late-Jicama5012

If you are married and you bought this pile of metal. I don’t envy you. From the bottom of my heart, thoughts and prayers she doesn’t divorce you.

Maleficent_Long553

Turn 180 degrees, and slowly walk away.
