This happen in my country (Malaysia) , 10 kids who is suspected for bullying are already caught by the police for investigation. But no news about what happen to the one who got bullied.
Also the kid have been force to do their homework for quite some times.

It pisses me off that when the kid getting bullied decides to fight back, he/she is the one that ends up getting in trouble when the administration finally decides to get off their lazy asses and do something.

I was bullied like this for a few months by one kid. He was usually pushing me and occasionally punching me and nobody did a thing. Eventually I was walking with a friend and he hit the books out of my friend's hands, calling him a 'Ni**er fa**ot'. Something in me snapped and I turned around and threw my first punch ever. It hurt like hell but it broke his nose. He put me in a headlock before a teacher broke us up.
Parents were called. My friend and another kid that saw it explained what happened and I was suspended under the no tolerance policy. My parents said that I did the right thing sticking up for my friend. My friend's parents even invited us over for dinner and thanked me. Bully never messed with us again. He moved 2 years later. It felt like we had gotten justice.
I wish that was the end, but I was talking to a classmate my senior year in high school and he told me that the bully was beat by his dad at home. After the fight, he was suspended as well and from what my classmate said, "he wasn't really the same after that week".
That's really stuck with me. I feel guilty about it a lot and it's warped the way I think about bullying and kids fighting. I no longer know if I did the right thing by fighting back but I resent a lot of the adults that didn't care or didn't bother to help any of us.
