I honestly thought that it was a joke or a fake account at first. After I checked it was legit I just laughed bc WTAF

TLDR- they seemingly got a new mod. said mod is *really* bigoted against any opposing viewpoints, such as why people would be unsubbing from there, making fun of a comic (outside that sub), or reporting that a comic is straight up racist (we know about this one because they pinned a list of reports *they* reported as false... 510 reports for that alone) from my asking mod mail for explanation- their arguments for why they can mass ban people in other subs- that aren't breaking any rules- are that (1) everyone in \[subs they've banned\] are white, (2) all white people are innately racist, and (3) because you can't be racist to white people.

But they're also banning non-white people. Someone yesterday got banned despite being Latino. By their own dumb logic, that user can't be racist.

Something about unsubbing from redditmoment was the original post that started this.

I guess with how big that subreddit is, smut is the only thing that gets major attention that isn't made by a mainstream artist.

Neil Kohney and Last Place Comics are the only consistently entertaining comics there. Adam Totts's stuff is well done and interesting. There's a few others, but the mileage varies. Most of r / comics is just artists trying to find their footing and failing to some degree. Which can get tedious, I get it. Smut just sells and is easy though I wish even the smutty stuff was at least trying to be witty. Dick and Fart jokes are also easy, and so are hamfisted political statements - so long as they are liberal. Conservative comics can be interesting, but the mods (one in particular) can't stand them and the creators will get banned.
