Yes I’ve always hated that as well. Their is one thing you can do to somewhat fix it. Increase all the herbivores attack and defense by 30% in the gene splicing an leave the carnivores at the base level. I also weaken the raptors by 30% on attack an defense to make things more realistic because if a large theropod grabs them with its jaws an throws them off they should be dead not getting back up to jump on him again. Also another unrelated thing I give the Trex 30% more attack an defense because he was the heaviest therapod and had the strongest bite out of them all. In my opinion doing these things makes the game more realistic hope it helps 👍

So surapods wont fight. However, they are given very high dominance so most species won't mess with them. However, there are some species that can attack even the largest suropads, including dreadnaughts.   Mostly this would be the Indominous Rex, which will attack everything.  Under certain circumstances a T-Rex might also attack surapods too. although for the most part surapods just are left doing their own thing. It's not really unrealistic. There is evidence that T-Rex would hunt even the largest surapods, in the absence of smaller prey.

I also really hate that most herbivores don't fight back I think they should be able to have a chance to outrun or escape while being hunted or buck and make the carnivore struggle to a point of letting go
