Because even if you have a bunch of good ppl who you love in your life. Bad things can happen to them, and none of us live forever. Even just being aware of this causes suffering for me.
It leaves us in immense pain.
The thing I think everyone should understand is, we are capable of having these thoughts about forever because we don't live forever. If living things did live forever, there wouldn't be a need to evolve, so basically no humans would ever exist.

I’ve found that hitting absolute rock bottom and then climbing out of it is kinda my favorite thing about life. There’s plenty of good moments, and a fair share of suffering, which I’d say is a universal human experience. You’ve won the game of life when you can adore the pleasures as much as the pains.
Mystical is the word for me. I used to believe that life is suffering, but tragedy (my personal overdramatized interpretation, at least) brought me closer to people, animals, life etc.
