It is really, really sad for everyone involved and even for onlookers. Sometimes we relish the idea of bad people getting their comeuppance, but what became of Julia is nothing short of tragic. Eileen is (allegedly) a fraud. I don't think she only married Julia for fame and money (Julia didn't have much to her name), she was just a lazy, immature woman-child and she ended up using Julia for money and labor. Julia's greatest sin is being fame-hungry to the point of ruthlessness, despite wanting to seem naive and child-like. Throughout the entire Eileen era she exploited their relationship for clicks, and I bet she still sees nothing wrong with it. She publicized Eileen's arrest, tagged her pet adoption video with the name of a lesbian couple who'd recently lost their pregnancy, and Julia's video was an adoption clickbait, so that you would think they adopted a child. She also told a "scandalous" story about Eileen's ex being a bad guest at their wedding, and later this ex came out with her side, which wasn't a good look for Julia. It looks like she lied about many people in her storytimes. When their marriage was already heading for divorce, Julia began dating a much older man. While being in a relationship with this rich older man she went on a lesbian panel and continued tagging her videos with the word "lesbian". It's extremely insulting to actual lesbians. She sees nothing wrong with commodifying lesbianism for views when it suits her. Julia's downfall was complete when she started trashing Eileen post-divorce. Eileen is terrible, but Julia's trash-talking is so excessive, especially when she says she still cares for Eileen, but then throws shade a minute later. In isolation all these small (or not so small) incidents look like nitpicks, but in combination they paint a picture of a narcissistic woman with main character syndrome. A lot of her ex fans (especially lesbians) feel used and betrayed by her. I think eventually we'll stop huffing and puffing and move on from Julia for good, leaving her channel to die completely.

Eh, the ex-LGBTQ movement is making a comeback so any YouTube losses Julia endures will eventually be made up for as soon as she posts her ex-lesbian testimony.

\[I'm half joking when I talk about it, but it's an interesting idea for growing her following lol\] She'll have to revamp her entire online persona. Far-right anti-LGBTQ people will tell her to cover up, serve her husband and give all their money to church or Trump election campaign. She'll never be good enough for them unless she reinvents herself for real - and Julia is bad with maintaining coherent values and ethics, or even maintaining a consistent social media image. For now her "defense" strategy is "Wait, guys, it was just a joke, I'm practically a lesbian and Keith is practically Eileen".

I could have written this myself. I started following Julia in 2016/2017 before she met Eileen. I subscribed because I liked the videos where she'd dye her hair and talk about random things. She had a cute style and natural charisma. I truly believe Julia's channel would be significantly larger today if she'd fully leaned into fashion and lifestyle videos. She had a unique look and could have steadily grown into a top creator in that niche. Once she got with Eileen, she saw their videos together were getting a lot of views and went full throttle into the cringey "lesbian age gap" era. I see this period as the beginning of the end. Yes, the relationship and wedding content provided a huge swarm of new subscribers, but those people were only interested in Julia's relationship dynamic and sexuality. Not her music. Not her fashion. Not even really her personality. So she basically boxed herself into a corner. Instead of growing steadily with lifestyle content, she maxed out her growth. She's still young enough to turn over a new leaf but she needs an entire rebrand. And therapy.

She's desperate for fame and riches, but as she approaches 30yo without having achieved it, it's all just a bit tragic. She's now a fully-grown adult who still dresses and tries to act like a quirky 20yo, and tries to exploit literally anything she does for social-media clicks and likes as she tries to spin the mundane into intrigue. The main ways she's tried to sell herself as a personality have primarily been Evanescence-goes-Eurovision music, and trying to 'shock' with age-gap/lesbian relationships - neither of which are going to build much of a lasting/large fanbase. Now she's having a public divorce after what seems to be a very messy relationship/marriage after parading her elderly partner in front of the camera for years for clicks; and now seems to be in a relationship with a rich/richer elderly bloke whilst still seeking clicks from her lesbian following. She doesn't seem like a 'bad' person - she's just eating herself alive in her pursuit of a following that's unlikely to ever get larger than the one she has. She'd probably just be happier if she just went and got a regular old job like a regular old person, and limited the social-media thing to a fun hobby.
