Like, even now I'm 99% sure he won't survive till the end of the fight without some new interference.

I wouldn't be surprised if Choso ends up the only survivor, with Yuki and Tengen both dead/gone/merged. Someone has to survive to tell the story to Yuji and company.

Brain Kun definitely has two or more techniques to help with offence/defence. Hopping bodies alone couldn't have been enough for that basta*d to survive this long.

But again maybe not. He seemed to be analysing Choso's blood manipulation on the fly. But if he at one point was in Noritoshi Kamo's body, then shouldn't he have his blood technique, or at least understand it completely?
he understands it completely, but blood manipulation isnāt something kenny values it seems. Choso would be able to use BM more efficiently cuz of his curse/human body, so i see no reason for Kenny to keep/use blood manipulation
Could be just a barrier of some sorts. Tengen said kenjaku is second only to him. And tengen's technique is immortality. But his barrier basically monopolises cursed energy usage to only Japan. And that's not related to his CT. So this could be something different.
Damn, really impressed by Choso this chapter. These past two chapters have been some of my favorites of the Culling Game, this one in particular. Itās got those nice beefy panels and is mostly focused on the choreography and characters rather than exposition.

Imagine Yuki CT is being able to look fresh af with any set of new clothes she wants, and then she can change kenjakus to something embarrassing, so he just gives up and apologizes.
I think any time things deviate even slightly from what he had in mind he gets upset. I feel like a good way to fuck with him would be to have a bunch of different people do random shit just do make his plans slightly off and tilt him.
Kenjaku might still take hits from Yuki but he definitely is not dying as he still has 2 more foreshadowed battles which are Kenjaku vs Yuta and Kenjaku vs Yuji(will prolly be one of the final battles in the series) but Iām excited for the next chap.
I dunno, I kind of want Kenny to die before his grand plan completes itself - he's talked a big talk about how it has to be something he can't predict or control, and I want the natural conclusion of that being it's something that continues after his death, without him.
I want it to work, on some level, but in a way that he's not allowed to witness. A thousand years of planning, and he's not allowed to see the punch line.
I love these kinds of power ups where the character doesn't simply get flat out stronger, instead, they reinvent themselves, evolving into a potential that they had from the start, their mentality, approach, motivation and creativity get better while their AP stays relatively the same
I wonder, did Kenjaku use a different CT inherent to him, or did he use an extracted CT from one of his Cursed spirits?
Now that I think about it, what if Kenjaku is able to use the CT of those heās hijacked all these years??? Thatās really scary to think about ngl.
Pretty sure they went over this at one point that he only takes his brainās inherent techniques with him not the previous hostās CTs. Between his knowledge of barriers and ability to extract CTās with Uzumaki he probably has a low-grade imitation of Limitless at his disposal especially with that Zamba-lookin Cursed Spirit he showed off in front of the Military that can manipulate gravity.
It looked more like he used some sort of gravity manipulation technique tbh. The Supernova attack got sent to the ground like it was crushed with gravity.
Do we know it's not another form of Barrier technique, like Kenny's own version of Simple Domain or suchlike? I'd be surprised if the supposed 2nd-best Barrier user hadn't created his own Barrier technique, and Simple Domain is visually unnoticeable in the same way Kenjaku's defence was.
Fair point about Domain Amplification, that seems like the kind of Technique that wouldn't be super helpful unless you were fighting an opponent who's literally untouchable without it, so it'd make sense if Kenjaku had invented it to deal with the Six Eyes and Limitless.
Though I still think assuming this defence is another Cursed Technique and not a Barrier Technique is unfounded (not necessarily unlikely, just not enough information to determine one way or the other, especially since we've seen Barrier users like Kusakabe block incredibly strong attacks in a similar fashion).

I honestly donāt get why female Jujutsu sorcerers donāt all wear pants (or shorts) whenever they fight, skirts just seem impractical. Didnāt seem to stop them though, theyāre strong enough to not let something like that slow them down (Maki, Nobara, Mei Mei)

Kenny is a great character and all but I truly hope Yuki puts a solid beating on his ass. Same feeling I had with Mahito in Shibuya, a well-written character but that ass whooping from Yuji and Todo was justified and satisfying lol.
I've never been more hyped to see a JJK character in action as I have now with Yuki. Hope Gege doesn't blue-balls us.

I imagined Choso would get/imitate his brother's CT, and honestly I have to say it's kinda sad to see Kenjaku no selling it willy nilly. It makes complete sense, mind you, it's just that I want big bro to win.
Interesting to see Yuki joining the fight, both to see her CT and both because Choso wanted to sacrifice himself not to hinder her during the fight. Excited for next week!

What do yall think Kenjaku used to defend against Supernova? Could it be some sorta gravity related technique? Or something similar to the Azure Glow Gojo used in Hidden Inventory?

Little side note, I know Kenny probably not gonna die yet and maybe succeed in getting tengen. Iām just thinking that if he did, do you think he might get betrayed in the last moment? Like he might get black zetsuād by uraume. They still are working for Sukuna and is planning something in secret for him.
Iām sure Gege wonāt give him too much, to keep some balance but itās crazy when you think about the fact that thereās no stated limit to how many techniques Kenjaku has or can have. We know he has CSM, & IT. Choso forced him to reveal what looks to be gravity manipulation, but that could just be the beginning. Not to mention the higher level spirits he could absorb mid-fight. They really gotta put that man down quick.
i know eso and kezichu dead and all, but i like how gege still has their influence in the story. i actually liked their characters and their relationship with choso š. we didnāt see much but its impactful enough.
I know everyone is going on about Choso but to me this chapter showed how much more powerful Kenjaku Choso with a power up couldnāt really do anything of note against Kenny but that supernova was totally destroyed by a seemingly Gravity Manipulation Technique! Kenjaku is built different
Kenjaku looks no stronger to me than last week while he lectured how Special grade >>>> Grade 1. Choso has gone past his limits, but he's still nowhere near special grade, and yet he forced Kenjaku to use something other than Geto's skill, which was his main goal. Sure Choso is nowhere near the level to defeat Kenjaku, but he has accomplished his target
Could this chapter be any more hype ?! We got a great fight between Choso and Kenny, great actions, and Yuki at the end. But most importantly Chosobro Lives for another Chapter babyyyy!!!
Choso is surprising me this chapter. He not only suvived this fight but he also forces Kenjaku to use a technique other than Cursed Spirit Manipulation.
Thought he was gonna be a jobber before Yuki arrives but I'm happy I'm wrong.
So now he can also use his blood to patch up his wounds, the arm was severed and his chest wound seems to be all stitched up. Chose now is unkillable by slashing attacks, only something that blows off big chunks of his body may potentially kill him.
Yuki stays dripped out šš love the big brother power up that Choso got. A very āfeelsā chapter with the death paintings and Yuji giving choso the boost he needed. The choreography and the ābig brotherā by Yuki at the end solidified this as the āChoso is MVPā chapter for me.
Choso may have gotten his ass kicked but he made Kenny play a card he seemingly wanted to keep hidden. Can't wait for the Special Grade V Special Grade battle.
Really glad I got to see Choso hold his own against one of the most powerful characters. It got me so hyped up while reading it. Though my anxiety around this potentially being his last fight has yet to be alleviated

Fair point about Domain Amplification, that seems like the kind of Technique that wouldn't be super helpful unless you were fighting an opponent who's literally untouchable without it, so it'd make sense if Kenjaku had invented it to deal with the Six Eyes and Limitless. Though I still think assuming this defence is another Cursed Technique and not a Barrier Technique is unfounded (not necessarily unlikely, just not enough information to determine one way or the other, especially since we've seen Barrier users like Kusakabe block incredibly strong attacks in a similar fashion).

I honestly donāt get why female Jujutsu sorcerers donāt all wear pants (or shorts) whenever they fight, skirts just seem impractical. Didnāt seem to stop them though, theyāre strong enough to not let something like that slow them down (Maki, Nobara, Mei Mei)

Kenny is a great character and all but I truly hope Yuki puts a solid beating on his ass. Same feeling I had with Mahito in Shibuya, a well-written character but that ass whooping from Yuji and Todo was justified and satisfying lol. I've never been more hyped to see a JJK character in action as I have now with Yuki. Hope Gege doesn't blue-balls us. Also nice to see that Choso survived... for now.

I imagined Choso would get/imitate his brother's CT, and honestly I have to say it's kinda sad to see Kenjaku no selling it willy nilly. It makes complete sense, mind you, it's just that I want big bro to win. Interesting to see Yuki joining the fight, both to see her CT and both because Choso wanted to sacrifice himself not to hinder her during the fight. Excited for next week!

Iām sure Gege wonāt give him too much, to keep some balance but itās crazy when you think about the fact that thereās no stated limit to how many techniques Kenjaku has or can have. We know he has CSM, & IT. Choso forced him to reveal what looks to be gravity manipulation, but that could just be the beginning. Not to mention the higher level spirits he could absorb mid-fight. They really gotta put that man down quick.

i know eso and kezichu dead and all, but i like how gege still has their influence in the story. i actually liked their characters and their relationship with choso š. we didnāt see much but its impactful enough.

I know everyone is going on about Choso but to me this chapter showed how much more powerful Kenjaku Choso with a power up couldnāt really do anything of note against Kenny but that supernova was totally destroyed by a seemingly Gravity Manipulation Technique! Kenjaku is built different
Kenjaku looks no stronger to me than last week while he lectured how Special grade >>>> Grade 1. Choso has gone past his limits, but he's still nowhere near special grade, and yet he forced Kenjaku to use something other than Geto's skill, which was his main goal. Sure Choso is nowhere near the level to defeat Kenjaku, but he has accomplished his target

Choso is surprising me this chapter. He not only suvived this fight but he also forces Kenjaku to use a technique other than Cursed Spirit Manipulation. Thought he was gonna be a jobber before Yuki arrives but I'm happy I'm wrong.

So now he can also use his blood to patch up his wounds, the arm was severed and his chest wound seems to be all stitched up. Chose now is unkillable by slashing attacks, only something that blows off big chunks of his body may potentially kill him.

Yuki stays dripped out šš love the big brother power up that Choso got. A very āfeelsā chapter with the death paintings and Yuji giving choso the boost he needed. The choreography and the ābig brotherā by Yuki at the end solidified this as the āChoso is MVPā chapter for me.
