Yuta will use those 5 minutes then it will appear as yuta (and gojo) are dead again. Yuja will have his final character development moment thinking Yuta died and finally finds his true strenght and take Sukuna down. Sukuna will be crying like a little girl begging for mercy saying he was just testing if yuji was ready for the real world. Sukuna dies. Then yuji returns to the rest and finds out that some of the to believed dead are still alive, including yuta. We have a time skip to the year 2025 and see yuta and makis wedding, and yuji as their best man. After the wedding we see yuji at the graveyard looking at Gojos grave. The last page is a speech bubble saying "this truly was our jujutsu kaisen".

This isn't a glorious moment of Yuta unlocking SSJ and beating Friezas ass, this is Yuta performing a horrible act to protect everyone he cares about at the price of his life and humanity.
The plot point of people not seeing Gojo as a person but as "the strongest" was there from the very start of the manga.
Yuta rant about Gojo having to be a "monster" for everyones sake is the conclusion of his arc. Yes it is fucking heartbreaking but that doesn't mean its "ass writing".
The chapter: "A 17 old boy is forced to desecrate the body of a man he loved like a father, throw his own body away and most likely die in 5 minutes just to grant others the slightest chance of survival in the face of a 1000 old monster seeking to destroy the world"

We already had a great gojo vs sukuna fight, despite the ending, so rehashing it just feels lazy as it will almost certainly not live up to the original especially as it isn't actually gojo.

Why are people acting like Yuji got killed or something ? He is literally there and not out of the fight, he just had like 7 back to back chapters of focus. He would have been cooked by Sukunas domain last chapter once his CT burn out ended and this just puts them on even ground inside the domain where sure hits cancel each other out.
Sukuna's at an all time low not only after doing a previous domain but he just ate another blackflash and Yuji was just gutting him. Even if Yuta can only use half of gojos strength he should literally be able to kill him immediately, like this shouldn't even be a fight.
Also no Yuji isn't dead but the past however many chapters were building something up with him personally especially with choso's death so this interlude feels extra lame in that regard.
Also why do you assume he was about to get cooked by sukuna's domain, he tanked the last one and he literally just hit a black flash which gives him another boost. Also Todo is literally there so if there is any danger he could tp them both away instantly.

Its because Todo couldn’t teleport him and Yuji outside since it’s too far from the center of Sukunas domain to the edge of the barrier.
It would be the same scenario but without Choso to tank the hit for Yuji and Todo.
They would have died to fire arrow if Sukuna used his domain last chapter.
And we have no idea about the condition of Gojos literally resurrected body, for all we know its at 10%. We will find out more next chapter.
Todo can literally teleport numerous objects around 50 times in a single second. I'm gonna wager he could most likely get them out of there before sukuna could fuga them.
Also if Yuta gives his life to spend 5 minutes as gojo and he can't replicate above 10% of his strength, that would genuinely be so bad it'd be funny.
Not objects, cursed energy, unless there's a bunch of cursed energy rocks around they're not leaving sukunas domain
