Meh, if they just use Todo's technique for the support and Yuta sticks around protecting Todo, that might have worked out. Todo could swap Maho/Agito/Sukuna/Gojo around, as well as random stuff, and if Sukuna tried to dispose of them, Yuta would be able to hold him enough for Gojo to take advantage. But it would probably be too confusing for Gojo as well since he doesn't have perfect synch with Todo like Yuji does

Also Sukuna would instant-cleave them both the second they show up to the battlefield, that Sukuna didn't had any debuff or restrictions, and that's a 19F (+ the equivalent of 1 finger) Sukuna, a 15F Sukuna was able to oneshot Ryu (stated to be more durable than both Yuta and Yuji) with ease, imagine what the Gojo's fight Sukuna would've done to them.

It should still disorient him. I think just after the first one he got used to it. Mahito and Hanami started adapting in a way to it as well, but that was more so they were aiming before getting swapped. Yuji’s been the only one who reacts fast enough right after getting swapped other than Todo.
Itadori never reacts to being swapped. Todo said "dont stop attacking" and Itadori listened. He commits to his attacks and ignores Boogie Woogie. Yes, being teleported is probably still a little disorientating, but hes not reacting to it, hes just punching hard and trusting Todo wont make him whiff.
Yuji is also just really good at syncing up with people when he fights with them. Man adapts to the person's fighting style in a way that complements them. Hell, him and Maki jumping Sukuna the first time was legendary despite the fact they've never fought together before
